Sona is a Sadist?

"Did you join them?" Lita inquired, a frown on her face.

The Garden of Sunset was not their enemy, but they also did not have a harmonious relationship. She wanted to know why they met him in the first place.

"No. I did say I enjoy my freedom." Masato shook his head and explained, "The reason they met me was to send me into a world where I could live peacefully. I was born in a war-torn world, you see. But, as someone who values peace and tranquillity, that world was not one in which I could live. So, in order to achieve my peace, I ended up killing a lot of people, which made other people wary of my existence."

"What followed was a never-ending struggle to either kill me or make me their ally. I was getting sick of it when some angels from the Garden of Sunset appeared and offered to transport me to a more peaceful world. Even though it was suspicious that they didn't ask for anything in return, I accepted their offer because they were providing me with what I needed."

"And they transported you to Earth?" Masato softly smiled as Erta finished his story, "Earth was indeed a truly peaceful world, at least more so than my previous one. The only problem was that there was no mana here, which made things difficult for me. But, in any case, I lived on Earth for about a year before the Great Cataclysm struck and I was left alone on the planet."

"To be honest, it didn't have much of an impact on me. After all, I just wanted to live a normal life. I assumed that, like any other world, the Great Cataclysm would be over in a decade. However, it appears that there is some... issue with the time-space axis, which resulted in the change in time."

There was a long period of silence, with the only sound being the sound of water rushing. Erta and Lita stared at Masato in stunned silence, unsure what to say, until Erta abruptly asked, "Wait. You stated that there was no mana on the planet that made your life difficult, correct?"

Masato nodded and said, "Indeed, I have."

"Does that mean your world has previously experienced a cataclysm?"

"Unquestionably."

"Then... how come we can't feel any mana on you?"

Lita's eyes narrowed as she looked at Masato. Not that Erta had asked, but she had wondered why.

"Oh. That is due to one of my abilities, which allows me to remove any type of mana signature from my body. So, even if there were a God, he would be unaware that I have mana. Unless, of course, he has a higher skill than me in detecting energy from others."

As he spoke, he raised his hand, and a small flame appeared. Making Erta and Lita's eyes widen. He was not lying at all!

"Are you the dragon whose heartbeat was previously heard all over the earth?" Lita inquired as to the reason for their current presence.

"Well…" Masato stroked his hair. He was so embarrassed that he forgot he wasn't alone in the world and made such a scene, "It was indeed me. Before leaving my world, I killed a dragon and took his Great Essence with one of my skills, which I merged with my body some time ago, producing those heartbeats."

"Which class are you in?" Lita inquired, perplexed. After all, not just anyone can slay a dragon and speak so casually. What about him absorbing the Dragon's Greater Essence? It was not surprising given the world's abundance of eccentric abilities.

Masato rubbed his chin while looking at his status.

Seeing his status, he looked towards Erta and Lita, using observation.

Except for the fact that both of the girls flying in front of him, despite their frail appearance, could kill him in ten solid hits, he realized his mana was completely out of their league. Despite the fact that Erta was a magician and a full tier above him, her mana was far inferior to his. It was due to his perk and skill boosts once again.

What about their other stats? They were a level higher than him. That's why they could both kill him in ten solid hits.

'Heh. But with the premise of ten solid hits, that is nearly impossible to achieve even if I wanted to.'

After all, he could stop time and thus become semi-invulnerable. As long as the attacker did not violate any time laws, he was relatively safe.

"I'm in 2nd Class, almost 3rd Class."

He didn't want to show his true strength and make them fearful of him. He was probably not going to tell them his secrets until he could trust the angels before him.

"And you're saying you killed a dragon, most likely a 4th class based on the intensity of the heartbeat, as a 2nd Class?" Lita clearly didn't believe what he said was true.

"Well… I have my own methods for advancing through the levels. If you don't want to believe, there's nothing I can do for you." Masato shrugged, leaving Lita and Erta speechless.

"Do you have any additional questions? If I have the answer, I can answer it," he said as he reset the chess board to zero.

"I am really surprised that you are giving all the answers to our questions," Erta said as she circled him in the air. "Do you have that much faith in us? "

"You are mistaken. I never believed either of you. In fact, I became aware the moment you both appeared here and began to scrutinize me." Masato stated unemotionally, "The reason I let you both spy on me was because first, I didn't want to make enemies with Heaven or leave a bad impression. Second, after being alone in this world for a decade, having company was welcome. Third, if any of you had made even the slightest move with the intent to kill me, you would not be flying right now, but would have become a part of my next blacksmith training item."

Erta and Lita came to a halt, their eyes trembling as they looked cautiously at Masato. According to him, he was second class, so there was no reason for them to be afraid of him. In fact, as long as he was not of a higher social class than them, it was nearly impossible for him to kill them.

Add to that the fact that Lita could easily kill a second or even third class just with her physical strength. In the lower world, her physical strength was not limited; only her skills were.

But both of them were a higher existence for a reason. When he said that, both of them could feel their instincts ringing, aware that what he said could happen if they truly showed hostility to him.

There were many unusual abilities in this world, so you never know what kind of ability he might have.

"But, of course, you girls have come out of pure curiosity, so I wouldn't do anything to you. In fact, I'd appreciate it if you could spend some time with me and play a chess match or two before leaving. When I'm alone here, it's quite lonely."

Lita and Erta exchanged glances before returning their gaze to Masato. Now that they know why he's here and what's causing the dragon beat, they should go back and explain it to Heaven.

However, after seeing his slightly lonely smile (this dude is acting purely), they decided that spending some time wouldn't hurt. In any case, like Illhan, it was their responsibility to accompany him because he could not be sent to another world with other people.

After all, even if he was not the Earth's first resident, he was still considered one later on.

Lita shrugged and took a seat next to Masato, staring at the chessboard. She recalls playing this game thousands of years ago, when she was also a human before becoming a higher existence.

Masato smiled as he noticed her in front of him. Her blond hair gently waved as she sat in the chair, her brown eyes with a purple tinge examining the board. When he took a good look at her, he realized she was stunningly beautiful. Her body, as well as her appearance, was out of this world.

She had a large, perfectly shaped chest that was hidden behind her dress and stood proudly like two mountain peaks. Her figure was close to perfect, neither overweight nor too thin or frail. Her curves were in the right places, and even her dress couldn't hide them. Her waist was perfectly formed, giving her an hourglass figure—(if that's what it's called, he wondered).

Lita, of course, was aware of his close inspection of her body. It caused her to flush slightly, an unfathomable mystery to her. If it had been someone else, she would have stabbed their eyes with her fingers, but his gaze didn't appear dirty to her.

It elicited a fluffy sensation in her, which she had never felt before.

'Restia… I'm glad you were able to draw Essence and use all of your luck with it.'

'I.... it's impossible! I still have my divine luck!'

After the previous ten gachas, the rest of the gachas that Restia drew were garbage. Masato wondered if she'd lost all of her luck or something. She obviously didn't believe it.

"Is this an advantage of being an angel?" Masato questioned, looking into Lita's eyes, "You are quite beautiful. I might have looked silly if I hadn't been used to seeing beauty."

Lita flushed slightly before nodding, "Of course, as a higher existence, our beauty surpasses that of lower existences."

Masato gave a nod.

They then played chess, which Masato easily won. After all, he had been playing chess for almost a year and had nothing to do while they were watching him. So he'd play chess while working on his mind and consciousness.

Lita frowned as she saw how easily he defeated her, a higher being. Obviously, she was proud to be one. So she began another game, which resulted in her defeat, much to her chagrin. Another game that ended in defeat.

"Give me a chance." Erta stated. Her mind was faster as a magician than Lita's as a fighter. But, aside from the fact that the game lasted longer than usual, it still ended in a loss.

They continued to challenge him in this manner for a day before finally admitting that they could not defeat him. It made them want to annihilate this board!

Masato finally understood how Sona felt after defeating someone. Seeing your opponent's frustrated expression was a great feeling. He realized she could be a sadist like him.

After a week of defeat, both angels flew in the air and vanished to inform their superiors, leaving Masato alone, who vanished the next second and reappeared in The House.

"Onii-chan!" The pink head, who looked like a 15-16 year old girl now, was the first to notice his presence, as was customary. She appeared in front of him, using her full Tier 2 strength, and hugged him before beginning to sniff his shirt and scent.

"I've been missing you, Onii-chan!" She said this while rubbing her face against his chest and enjoying the warmth of his body, which she had missed so much.

Masato smiled before raising her chin and kissing her on the lips, which Sakura did not deny and thoroughly enjoyed. "All right, let's go. I'd go out again for... an extended period of time, so let's 'enjoy' the time we have right now."

As a result, he spent nearly a year inside The House while only a day outside before returning. After all, he doesn't want to be gone when the angels return. Why would they do so? He was certain they would.
