Unwanted emotional tears stung Jungkook's eyes, his precious boys.

They didn't deserve any of this, it was his fault that things were as they were but before he could stop himself he placed an arm around each twin, holding them to him.

Haru, who was the more sensitive of the two, although he tried to conceal it, had turned into him immediately, burying his face in his chest, holding him tightly, whilst Haneul looked briefly towards the man, wanting to inspect him.

Jungkook wondered if they could sense their alpha father before he noticed that the other was copying his brother.

Taehyung couldn't move.

The second he had seen the two alpha pups he had known that there was nothing he would not do for them, including tearing out his own heart and offering it to them on a silver platter.

The sheer force of his love for them was like a tidal wave, a tsunami, that swept everything else aside.

They were his, of his Lycan family, of his blood, of his body.

They were his.

And yet, watching them, he recognised immediately how they felt about their omega father, Jungkook.

Taehyung had seen the protective stance they both had taken up, his heart filled with pride to see that instinctive alpha in them.

He looked down at his sons and then at their omega father, they were all his sons had.

He thought again of his dysfunctional parents and realised on another surge of emotion that there was nothing he would not do to give his sons what he had never had.

"Mating it is, then. But, I'm warning you now that it will last for life. That is the measure of my commitment to them," he told Jungkook, looking at his sons.

"Dad?"

The twins were turning in his shaking arms to look at Taehyung.

Any moment now they would start asking questions.

"Upstairs, you two," he said, taking off their duffle coats, "Change out of your clothes and then wash your hands. We'll do the sandwiches together."

The twins stared at Jungkook for a second then nodded, they made a quick dash past Taehyung, deliberately ignoring him, then climbing the stairs together.

A pair of sturdy, healthy alpha male children, with lean little-boy bodies and their father's features beneath identical mops of dark semi-curls.

Taehyung was quietly watching, as an old memory stirred within him.

Strong sunlight striking down on his bare face, the raised angry voices of his parents above him.

He too had turned to his then alpha mother, as his sons had done the same, but there had been no loving arms to hold him.

Instead, his alpha mother had spun around, heading for her car, slamming the door, leaving him behind, screeching tyres spinning on the gravel, sending up a thick cloud of dust and a shower of small stones.

He had turned then to his deranged father, but he too had turned away from him and walked back to the house as nothing had happened.

His parents had been too caught up in their own separate lives and their resentment of one another to have time for him.

He was 6 years old.

He then understood how money could affect a person, even if they were your family.

Blinking rapidly, Taehyung refocused on his current situation, eyes landing on Jungkook.

"There will be two conditions," he continued coldly, "The first is that you will sign a prenuptial agreement. Our relationship will be for the benefit of our sons, not the benefit of your bank account."

Appalled and hurt by this fresh evidence of how little he thought of him, Jungkook swallowed his pride and refocused on the situation he was in.

He is doing this for his boys, sighing through gritted teeth he responded, "And the second condition?"

"Your confirmation, a proof that you are taking birth control pills. I've seen the evidence of how little care you have for such matters. I have no wish for another child to be conceived as carelessly as the twins were."

Jungkook was taken by surprise with the second condition, he was also outraged to conceal his feelings.

"The hell? There is no question of that happening. The last thing I want is to have to share your bed... again."

Jungkook's outburst lashed the alpha's pride into a savage need to punish him.

"But you, Jungkook, will share it. And you will beg me to satisfy that hunger. I can tell your desire for sexual satisfaction has been honed in the arms of far too many men for you to be able to control it now."

"You're joking, right? That's not true, you can even ask the people that helped you investigate me that I haven't been with anyone since you came into my life."

Jungkook could feel his face burning with her admission.

He didn't need reminding about how he had not only given himself to him but actively encouraged him to take him.

His memories of that eventful night were burned into his conscience for eternity.

Not one of his senses would ever forget the role they had played, the way his breathy voice had screamed for Taehyung, a note higher as his increasing longing that had resulted in a cry of euphoric pleasure that still echoed in his ears, the greed of his hands to touch, memorize and know more of the alpha's body, the hunger of his lips to caress flesh and taste his hungry kisses, the increased arousal the scent of his skin had brought him.

Each and all of them had added to a wild torrent of sexual longing that had taken Jungkook to the edge of his universe and beyond it.

A Place of such spectacular loss of self.

Jungkook never wanted to go there again.

Shaking himself free of the old memories threatening to deluge him, Jungkook returned with a rebuke, "That was different… a mistake."

His hands curled into his palms in bitter self-defence as he saw the cynical look Taehyung was giving him.

Taehyung dared to claim that, after the way, he had already behaved?

He's delusional.

"And it's one that I never want to repeat. There's no way I'd ever want to share your bed."

Jungkook's adamant denial unleashed the alpha's anger.

He was lying, Taehyung was sure of it. He would prove it to him.

Kim Taehyung wasn't a vain man but he knew that everyone found him attractive, Jeon Jungkook had certainly done everything he could that night to make it plain to him that he wanted him.

Normally, he would never have even considered bedding him. He liked to do his hunting but his persistence had been like a piece of grit in his shoe, wearing down his resistance and helping to fuel the anger already burning inside him.

That was why he had lost control.

Because of his grandfather, not because of Jungkook himself or because the aroused little cries he had made against his skin had proved so irresistible that he had lost sight of everything but his need to possess the omega.

Taehyung could still remember the way Jugkook had cried out when he had finally thrust into him, as though what he was experiencing was completely new.

He had clung to him, sobbing his pleasure into his skin as he trembled and shuddered against every euphoric orgasm.

Why was he thinking of that now?

Taehyung's fury, inflamed by both his demand for claiming his mate and Jungkook's denial of his accusation has deafened him to the note of raw pain in his voice.

Before he could stop himself he had taken hold of the omega and was possessing his mouth in a heated, pride-fuelled fury, kiss.

Too shocked to struggle against Taehyung's possession, Jungkook realised what was happening and it was too late.

The desire for Taehyung was the last thing he had expected to feel, but, shockingly, the hard possession of his mouth on his own turned his thoughts easily.

Jungkook thought that he was damaged by what Taehyung had already made him endure, that it could never be turned into something heated again.

Turning his thoughts around with frightening ease made Jungkook's body shiver.

This shouldn't be happening.

It could not be happening.

But, shamefully, it was.

Jungkook's panic fought with the desire that burned through him and lost. He was overcome, no, obliterated by Taehyung with everything that stood in its path.

His lips parted beneath the pressure of Taehyung's probing tongue, a whimper of longing drawn from his throat.

Jungkook could feel the passion in the alpha's kiss, the hard arousal of his body, heated memories only served to further inflame his desire, quickening his pulse and burning his skin.

It should always have been impossible.

And yet, like some mythical, dark malformed creature, supposedly entombed and shut away for eternity, his desire had found the superhuman strength to break the bonds imprisoning it.

Taehyung's tongue possessed the eager willingness, filing Jungkook's mouth and overpowering his omega's body was already hard enough for him to anticipate the willingness of the most intimate part of him.

Taehyung needs to stop soon.

Jungkook shuddered with mindless sensual delight as the alpha continued his assault, his tongue began to thrust rhythmically against his own.

Beneath his old, worn-out clothes Jungkook's nipples hardened, the heated ache spreading swiftly through the omega's veins.

Taehyung's hand cupped his ass, causing Jungkook to moan deep into the kiss.

If he didn't stop now, Taehyung wouldn't be able to stop himself from taking his omega where they stood.

He shouldn't be doing this, Taehyung warned himself.

He shouldn't be giving in to the demands of his pride, that was all he was doing.

The heat running and burning through his veins was only caused by angry pride, nothing else.

Nothing else.

He didn't want Jungkook, not really, but his pride was now demanding to give him a punishment, the destruction of the omega's claim that he didn't want him.

Abruptly, Taehyung thrust him away, he brought them back to reality.

Jungkook could feel himself being dragged back to the past.

A small cry of protest gave away his torment.

They stood watching each other, fighting to control the urgency of their breathing, the urgency of their need.

Exposed, raw, and in Jungkook's eyes ugly, it was almost a tangible force between them.

They both felt the strength of it, their desires, and its dangers.

Jungkook could see that knowledge in the alpha's eyes, just as he knew that it is also reflected in his own.

The weight of his shame ached through Jungkook, his face was drained of colour, huge doe eyes filled with shock in his small face.

Taehyung was just as shocked by the intensity of the desire that had come out of nowhere to threaten his self-control but he was better at hiding it than his omega, and he was in no mood to find any pity for him.

He was still battling with the unwanted knowledge of just how much he had wanted Jungkook.

To dominate.

To possess.

To claim his omega.

Taehyung's heart started to pound heavily in acknowledgement of his words and the ache in his body surged against his self-control, but somehow he forced himself to ignore the demands of his desire to continue.

"You will take the contraceptive

pill," he told Jungkook coldly, "I will not accept any consequences of not doing so."

In the space of a few short minutes, the protective cover Jeon Jungkook had woven around himself had been ripped apart, exposing him to the full horror of a weakness he had thought controlled and contained.

It should be impossible for him to want Taehyung, to be aroused by him.

Should be.

But his reactions to what had happened was setting in.

Jungkook felt physically sick, dazed, unable to function properly, torn apart by the conflicting nature of his physical desire, the burning sense of shame and disbelief that he felt such desires.

Wild thoughts jostled through his head.

Perhaps Jungkook should not merely ask his doctor for a prescription for the birth control pills but also an anti-Taehyung pill as well.

Something that would destroy his desire for the arrogant alpha?

Is there a pill for that?

Surely his pride and the humiliation he had heaped on him should be strong enough to protect Jungkook?

He couldn't marry Taehyung.

Not now.

Panic filled Jungkook.

"I've changed my mind,' the omega told him quickly, "About… a-about us getting mated."

Taehyung frowned again.

His immediate response to Jungkook's statement was an immediate surge of determination to prevent him from changing his mind.

For the sake of his sons.

Nothing else.

Certainly not because of the ache that was l pounding through him.

"So... the future of our sons is not as important to you as you claimed after all?' Taehyung challenged.

Jungkook was trapped, he acknowledged, in a prison of his own making.

All he could do was cling to the fragile hope that somehow he would find the strength to deny his heated desires that the alpha could easily arouse.

"It is," Jungkook protested.

"You'll accept my terms and conditions then we shall be married and mated. Easy."

"And if I refuse?"

"I'll even make it easier for you, Jungkook. Picture this, I will move heaven and earth, even the stars between them to take my sons from you."

Taehyung meant what he said, Jungkook could tell by his eyes. He had no choice other than to bow his head in acceptance of the alpha's demands.

He had defeated Jungkook, Taehyung knew, but the taste of his triumph did not have the sweetness he had expected.

It tasted bitter, too bitter.

"The demands placed on me by my business mean that the sooner our arrangements are completed the better. I'll arrange for the necessary paperwork to be carried out and regarding the prenuptial agreement I shall require you to sign and for our marriage. You must-"

A sudden bang from upstairs, followed by a sharp cry of pain, had them both turning towards the stairs.

Anxious for the safety of his sons, Jungkook rushed past Taehyug, hurrying up the stairs to the boys' room, unaware that the alpha was right behind him as he pushed open the door.

Finding Haru on the floor sobbing whilst Haneul stood clutching one of their plushie bears.

"Haru pushed me."

"No, I didn't. He was trying to take Mr Teddy."

"Let me have a look."

Jungkook instructed Haneul, checking to make sure that no real damage had been done before sitting back on his heels.

Turning to look at Haru but instead of coming to Jungkook for comfort Haru ran and stood in front of Taehyung, looking up at him as to seeking his support, and the alpha had his hand on his son's arm, as though protecting him.

The raw intensity of emotions gripped him by the throat, the grief for all that the twins had missed in not having an alpha father, the guilt and pain that alone he could not give them the tools they would need to grow into well-balanced men, and fear for his self-respect.

Taehyung's hand resting protectively on the shoulder of his son, he looked grimly at Jungkook.

His sons needed him in their lives, and nothing was going to prevent him from being there for them.

Oblivious to the atmosphere between the two grownups, Haru repeated, "Mr Teddy's mine."

"No, it's not. It's mine," Haneul argued.

Their argument pulled Jungkook's attention back, the twins were devoted to one another but now and again they would argue like this over a toy, or a plushie as if each of them was trying to seek authority over the other.

It was a boy thing, he guessed, other parents had assured him but Jungkook hated to see them fall out.

"I've got a suggestion to make," Taehyung's deep voice was calm, yet authoritative in a way that immediately had both boys looking at him, "If you both promise not to argue over this again then I will buy you a new toy each, so you won't have to share."

Jungkook caught an outraged breath, his instincts overwhelming the vulnerability he felt.

What Taehyung was doing was outright bribery.

Since he didn't have the money to give the boys one each of things he had impressed on them the need to share and share alike, and now, with a handful of words, the alpha had appealed to their natural acquisitive instincts with the offer.

Jungkook could see from the eager look in both pairs of eyes, turning dark gold, that his house rules about sharing had been forgotten even before Haru challenged Taehyung excitedly, "When… when can we have them?"

Haneul was on his feet now, rushing over to join his twin, leaning confidently against the alpha's other leg whilst he looked up excitedly, his words tumbling over themselves as he told Taehyung, "I want a car like the one outside…"

"So do I," Haru agreed, determined not to be outdone and to assert his elder brother status.

"I'm taking you both and your father to Seoul. There's a big toy shop there where we can look for your cars but only if you promise me not to quarrel over toys in future."

Two dark heads nodded enthusiastically in assent, two identical boxy, Cheshire cat grins split his sons' faces as they gazed up worshipfully at Taehyung.

Jungkook struggled to contain his emotions, seeing his sons with their alpha father, watching the way they reacted to him, had brought home thoughts of what they were missing without him, not financially, but emotionally.

Was it Jungkook's imagination, or was he right in thinking that already they seemed to be standing taller, speaking more confidently, even displaying a body language they had automatically copied from their alpha father?

A small pang of sadness filled him, they weren't babies any longer, his babies, wholly dependent on him for everything.

They were growing up, their reaction to Taehyung proved what he had already known, his sons needed an alpha role model in their lives.

Helplessly, Jungkook submitted to the power of the wave of love that surged through him, his head lifted proudly as he returned Taehyung's silently challenging look.

What Taehyung said was news to Jungkook but he wasn't given the chance to say anything because the alpha was already looking at him, challenging him to rebuke it.

Jungkook's head was pounding with a tension headache, his stomach cramped.

Familiar reactions to stress, which he knew could well result in him ending up with a full-scale migraine attack.

"Yes.. well, I'll allow it. As long as both of my little princes promise to not fight over toys again."

Taehyung nodded, "Then, I'll be on my way. I have a lot of things to take care of boys. See you soon," he said as he reached out to stroke the tousled dark curls.

~~~
A few days have passed and today wasn't the time for Jungkook to be ill, or indeed to show any weakness. Even if he had hardly slept since Taehyung's surprise visit, he had woken this morning feeling nauseous.
The twins were dressed in the new sweaters and jeans he and his gal had bought for Christmas, they wore new trainers he had spent his previously saved money on after he had seen the frowning look Taehyung had given their old ones.
Taehyung had called on his mobile yesterday to discuss everything, all the required arrangements he had made, not just for their stay in one of New York's most expensive hotels but for their marriage as well, before the four of them would leave for Seoul, SK where they'll be calling their home now.
The twins were too excited to sit down, insisting on standing in front of the window so that they could see Taehyung arrive to pick them all up for their visit to Four Seasons Hotel in downtown new york.
Would he have made a different decision if his close friend had been at home?
Jungkook didn't see how he could have done things differently.
His close friend and confidante, Park Shin Hye had been wonderful to him, insisting that Jungkook would support him financially so that he could stay at home with the boys, and let her spoil them a little.
But Jungkook had become increasingly aware of not just the financial pressure they were under, also the fact that one day surely his dear friend would fall in love and start her own family.
Jungkook didn't want to feel that the twins were standing in her way because Jungkook felt duty-bound to go on supporting them.
For the twins, who were both wildly excited about the coming trip and who had happily accepted his careful announcement that he was going to marry their alpha father, Taehyung. And for his friend, Shin Hye, who had given him and his twins so much love and support a written letter of explanation by the kitchen counter.
The twins had reacted to the news that they were going to be married with excitement and delight.
Haneul had informed him hopefully, "Our neighbour, Luke has a daddy. He takes him to watch football and to McD's. He bought him a new bicycle last week."
The reality was that everything seemed to be working in Taehyung's favour.
Jungkook couldn't even use the excuse of saying that he couldn't take the boys out of school to refuse to go, since they were now on holiday for Easter.
When they go back to school, it would be to the small English speaking school somewhere. Taehyug had informed him, the twins' will gave private teachers that will follow a tailored curriculum strictly.
When it came to the boys' future education, the alpha had expressed that he was completely against them going to boarding school. He had said that he wants to see the boys as he returns from work and to spend time as a family.
The conversation he and Taehyung about the twins' future had been more of a question and answer session - with Jungkook asking the questions and the alpha supplying the answers.
All Jungkook knew about their future life was that Taehyung preferred to live and work in Seoul, near his family and pack, where they have ruled for several centuries, although their new venture into the IT business he had built up last decade had a global reach.
Taehyung had also told him that his second in command was his pack brother, named Park Jimin, who had trained in IT and was based in Seoul as well.
In addition to his pack brother, Taehyung had informed him that he has married a Grammy-nominated artist and producer, Min Yoongi, recently. He too lived there with his husband.
"So... it'll just be the two of us and the boys, then?" he had pressed warily.
"That is the norm, isn't it?" the alpha had countered, "The nuclear family, comprising both parents and their children."
Stupidly, perhaps, Jungkoom hadn't thought as far as how they would live, the way his thoughts had recoiled from the reality of their new life together had made him realize how apprehensive he was.
His face burned even now, remembering his inability to answer that inner question.
It had been far easier to deal with the practicalities of what lay ahead rather than allow himself to be overwhelmed by the complex emotional issues it raised.
Now, waiting for Taehyung to collect them, the letter for his friend written and waiting for her return to NY.
Jungkook could feel the pain at his temple increasing, his stomach churning with anxiety.
Everything would have been so very different if only he hadn't given in to that shameful physical desire Taehyung had managed to arouse.
In her handbag, were the birth control pills he'd demanded to take. He had been tempted to defy him, to insist that he could rely on his will-power to ensure that there was no further sexual intimacy between them.
But, he's still horrified by the memory of what had happened between them by the hallway, struggling to take in the fact that it had happened.
The speed of it, the intensity of it, had been like a fire erupting out of nowhere to blaze so fiercely, it had left him feeling vulnerable and unable to trust himself.
There must not be another child, Taehyung had said.
And wasn't the truth that he did not want to create another new life with a man who had no respect nor feelings of kindness and certainly no love towards him?
Love?
Hadn't Jungkook grown out of the dangerous self-deceit of dressing up naked, evident lust in the fantasy illusion of 'love'?
Clothing it in the kind of foolish dreams that belonged to naive adolescents?
Before Kim Taehyung had kissed him. He would have sworn and believed that there was nothing, no intimacy, he could enforce on, that would arouse his desire.
But the searing heat of the previous kiss he had subjected to, burned away his flimsy defences.
Of all the cruel tricks that nature and the universe could play on two human beings, surely that must be the worst?
To create within them a desire for one another that could burn away every shred of protection, leaving them exposed to a need that neither of them wanted.
If Jungkook could have ripped his desire out of his body, he would have done it.
It was an unwanted presence, an enemy within that he must find a way to destroy.
"He's here!"
Haneul's excited announcement cut through his thoughts.
Both were racing to the door and pulling it open, jumping up and down with eager delight when the car door opened and Taehyung stepped out.
The alpha dressed casually, a black polo shirt, beige chinos and a dark tan leather jacket, but he still had that unmistakable air about him that said he was an alpha other alpha's looked up to and a lot wanted to be close to.
Jungkook was forced to admit unwillingly.
It wasn't that he was good-looking, many men were that, no, Kim Taehyung had something else that was a mixture of an aura of power blended with raw sexuality.
Jungkook had sensed it as a naive teenager and been drawn to him because of it, even now, when he was old and wise enough to know better, he still felt the pull of his sexual magnetism - its threat to suck Jungkook into treacherous waters.
A shiver ran over his body, almost a mocking caress making him hug his arms around his body to conceal the sudden unwanted peaking of his nipples.
Not because of Taehyung, he assured himself.
No, it was the cold from the open door that was causing his body's sensitive reactions, a more logical explanation he assured himself.
Taehyung's brooding gaze swept over him and rested momentarily on his face, like a leashed tiger who's burning desire inside him surged against its restraint, leaping and clawing against its imprisonment, the force of its power straining the muscles he had locked against it.
These last couple of days he had spent more hours wrestling with the ache burned in his groin, possessed by it, driven by it, and half maddened by it in equal parts.
No man nor alpha had ever been allowed to control him through his desire, the space of a handful of seconds he was torn, tempted to listen to the inner voice that was warning him to walk away, from the desire that had erupted out of nowhere when he had kissed him.
A desire like that couldn't be controlled, it could only be appeased.
Like some ancient mythical gad, it demanded sacrifice and self-immolation on its altar.
Jungkook saw the twins running towards Taehyung, any thought of protecting himself vanished and an overwhelming surge of love flooded him.
He hunkered down and held out his arms to them, watching the small scene, he felt his throat threaten to close up on a huge lump of emotion.
An alpha father with his sons, holding, protecting, and loving them.
There was nothing Jungkook would not risk giving his sons that, he acknowledged fiercely.
Holding his sons, Kim Taehyung knew that there was nothing more important to him than they were.
No matter how much he mistrusted their omega father.
"Daddy Bun says that we can call you Appa if we want to."
That was Haru, Taehyug recognised.
He had always thought of himself as someone who could control and conceal his emotions but right now they were threatening to overwhelm him.
"Do you want to?" he asked them, his hold tightening.
"Luke at school has a daddy and bought him a new bicycle."
He was being tested, he recognised, unable to stop himself from looking towards Jungkook.
"Luke's father also takes him to football matches and McD's."
Jungkook managed to interject at Taehyung's unspoken question.
The alpha looked at the twins, "The bicycles are a maybe. Once we've found bikes that are the right size for you and the football games is a definite yes. As for McD's… Well… I think we should leave it to your daddy to decide about that."
Jungkook was torn between relief and resentment.
Anyone would think Taehyung's been dealing with the twins from birth, he couldn't have given them a better answer if he had scripted it himself.
"Are you ready?" the alpha asked Jungkoom, in the cold, distant voice he always used when he spoke to him.
"Yes, we're ready. My little princes' go and get your coats,' he instructed, turning back into the hall to get the case he had packed, and almost being knocked over by the twins as they rushed by.
It was Taehyung's fingers closing around his arm that saved him from stumbling, the shock of the physical contact froze him into immobility, making him feel far more in danger of losing his balance than the twins' dash had done.
Jungkook's arm felt thin and frail, in direct contrast to the sturdiness of the twins' limbs, Taehyung thought and his face was pinched, as though he didn't always get enough to eat.
A question hovered inside his head, an awareness of deprivation that he pushed away from himself.
The omega's small anguished moan as he pulled free of him and brought him back to reality.
"Is this your only case?" he demanded, looking at the shabby case on the floor.
Jungkook nodded his head, and his mouth twisted with contempt.
Of course, he would want to underline his poverty.
Taehyung was tempted to ignore the hint that the other was intending, he didn't intend him to travel to Seoul with the single shabby case, which would mean that he was punishing his sons as well.
And besides, he had no wish to make his marriage the subject of speculation and gossip, which it would be if Jungkook didn't have a wardrobe commensurate with his wealth and position.
Marriage to him was Jungkook's access to a brand new bank account, filled with money. No doubt he was already planning his first spending spree.
He remembered how much delight his alpha mother had always taken in spending his alpha father's money, buying himself couture clothes and expensive jewellery.
As a child, he'd thought her mother was so beautiful, too dazzled by the glamorous exterior to recognise the corruption that is concealed within.
"Our marriage and mating ritual will take place this Friday," Taehyung informed him, "On Saturday, we fly to Seoul. You've done as I instructed concerning the birth control pill, I trust?"
"Yes," Jungkook confirmed.
"Can you prove it?"
Jungkook was outraged but scorched pride had him fumbling angrily with the clasp of his humble handbag, both his hands shaking with the force of his emotions as he delved to produced the foil-backed pack of pills, quite plainly showing the empty spaces from the pills he had already taken.
A curt nod was the only response he seemed willing to give before he continued cynically,
"And, having fulfilled your obligation, you now expect me to fulfil what you no doubt consider to be mine, I expect? To furnish you with the wherewithal to replace your single suitcase with a full set of new ones?"
The open cynicism in his voice burned Jungkook's scorched pride like salt poured into an open wound.
"Your only obligation to me is to be a good father to the twins."
Taehyung didn't like the response, it wasn't the one he had expected. It didn't match the profile he had mentally drawn up for Jungkook.
"No," Taehyung corrected coldly, "that is my obligation to them."
Somehow Jungkook had managed to stray from the script he had written. The one in which he revealed to be an unworthy father, leaving him holding the high ground and the moral right to continue to despise him.
Jeon Jungkook's resistance to the role he had cast made him feel all the more determined to prove himself that he's right.
"There is no need to be self-sacrificing. As my mate and husband, naturally you must present an appropriate appearance. Although, I must caution you against buying clothes of the type you were wearing the night you propositioned me. It is the role of my mate you will be playing in future not the role of a whore."
