After all, such cases were a new Martial Soul was formed through birth were rare but not unheard of.

Already satisfied with my visit, I did not ask any questions and activated the device, wanting to get this quickly over with so that I could report to my higher-ups about such a great seedling. I was shocked however when two snaking tails of white and black light emerged from the boy's body.

Wrapping around him numerous times, the two snake-lights slithered onto his face and entered his eyes. At this time, I saw a red eye similar to Meiqiu's emerge and glow briefly on the youth's forehead where three black rings which encircled each other began to rotate. It appeared as if it was powerfully pulsating as a shadowy substance locked away the light. But when I had blinked, only the youth's two eyes were still glowing, showing no other strange signs. Under the impression that it was only a hallucination on my end caused by my hopes to have two Three-eyed Golden Lions awaken, I laid these thoughts to rest.

Looking strangely at the youth, I told him his Martial Soul. "Spirit Eyes. Special Tier Martial Soul." His inquisitive look told me he wanted to know more details.

I spoke as concisely as I could. "Spirit Eyes are one of the rare Body Spirits, something that even I had never seen but only heard of until today. Historically, there have been no well-known Body Spirit Martial Practitioners since ancient times, they are unanimously granted the Special Tier, as no one is really sure about how powerful they are."

He began to look down in thought. Worried that he might be negatively affected by the information, I told him some encouraging words even though I did not really believe them myself. "There's no need to be so disappointed, really. Just because there are no precedents does not mean you cannot be a first. If you work hard enough, I am sure you can show everyone how strong those eyes of yours are."

He looked up, having eye contact with me. And while I feel as if I saw a bit of doubt in his eyes, his sunny and relaxed smile returned, speaking with certainty. "Hn. I believe this as well."

No longer worried about any kind of trauma my words might have caused, I return his smile, nodding. I then told them that they could leave as I went to talk about matters with Hu Feng.
