The Queen's Mercy

Sounds of flowing streams could be heard. The forest was tranquil and calm, with little disturbance. It was surrounded by nature from every side.

In the heart of the forest, the witches reside. Having enjoyed years of peace and prosperity, the valley of the witches was an open place for guests.

On this day, a revered and well-known figure visited the coven. Mariam looked around the place, an instant dislike for its formation.

Compared to her home, the place felt wild and too green for her liking. Nonetheless, she knew better than to criticize their home openly.

She was on a quest and needed their help to make her dreams come true. As she neared their main border, she took a deep breath and put on a facade.

True to the myths, the witches were welcoming. Being a royal princess was a bonus for her. She was escorted to the Queen's chamber.
