Emotional mess

Maimuna's sobs resonated in the air. The initial warmth and sentimental feelings they had forged had long dissipated.

In its place were sorrow and grievances. No matter how she thought of it, the lady knew that the end would cause them pain.

She was new to motherhood. Although she was now over the painful past, the traumatic effects were still there. From the moment she discovered her pregnancy, Maimuna was afraid.

She feared that she wouldn't be a good mother. This was because she never experienced motherly love before. Despite this hitch-up, she made efforts to learn everything she could about motherhood.

Every day, she would converse with her little ones while her man was away. She had grown so attached to them within a matter of two months.

The thought of watching them lifeless in her arm was deeply disturbing. It was the reason for her nightmares. She tried to forget about the images she saw.
