Practice Match: Seijou Vs Karasuno

In front of Aoba Johsai High School

Hinata is apologizing to Tanaka for vomiting in his pants. Sugawara and Daichi are trying to cheer up Hinata but that is not working.

Like that they went on towards the team where they heard two Aoba Johsai players making fun of Karasuno. Tanaka with his usual habit showed his bad-boy face followed by Tsukishima snarky comments.

"Tanaka, stop it. You are embarrassing us. And Tsukishima, stop commenting like that", Sugawara shouted at Tanaka and Tsukishima.

It was after Daichi came and saved the scared Aoba Johsai players. After some minor scuffles, the team reached Aoba Johsai Volleyball Gym which is a few times larger than Karasuno's Gym.

"Is that Sakamoto Kenshin"

"Dual Weild Kenshin"

"So, he went to Karasuno"

"He should have come to our school instead of Karasuno"

Kenshin looked at the Gym and ignored their comments and started doing the warm-up.

"Kenshin, how are you doing", Iwaizumi asked after coming towards Kenshin.

"Oh, Iwaizumi san. I am fine. Where is Oikawa san? I couldn't find him here", asked Kenshin.

"That Shittikawa got too excited and got injured in a practice match", Iwaizumi said with an angry face.

"That sounds like Oikawa san", Kenshin said with a small smile.

"Why are you in Karasuno", Iwaizumi inquired.

"Well if I went to any powerhouse school it would have been too easy but Karasuno is above average team with nice potential", Kenshin said by looking at Karasuno Team.

"Well, in volleyball a team with strong six wins. All the best for the play", Iwaizumi said while walking towards his team.

After Iwaizumi left, all the Karasuno players surrounded Kenshin.

"Kenshin, do you know Seijou's vice-captain"

"How do you know him"

Kenshin looked at them and said, "Iwaizumi san and Oikawa san lives near my neighborhood. We have played against each other in Neighborhood Tournaments".

After that, they did the warm-up and get ready for the match. Kenshin looked at Hinata who is so nervous that he is about to throw up.

"Daichi san, is it possible for you to replace Hinata if he plays really bad. I think it would be better to let him out and make him relax. Then add him in the second set", Kenshin said to Daichi.

Daichi san looked at fidgeting Hinata and said, "Okay, let's do it as you say then".

After that, the match between Aoba Johsai and Karasuno began. The playing 6 of Aoba Johsai are-

MB, Kindaichi, 1st Year

WS, Kunimi, 1st Year

WS, Hanamaki, 3rd Year

WS, Iwaizumi, 3rd Year

MB, Matsukawa, 3rd Year

S, Yahaba, 2nd Year

L, Watari, 2nd Year

The match started with Matsukawa from Aoba Johsai serving. He served the ball to Daichi. Daichi was about to pick up the ball when Hinata interfered and the ball went away.

Kenshin using his fast reaction dived and got the ball towards Kageyama. Kageyama then sent it towards Tanaka who his the ball but it got intercepted by Aoba Johsai's blockers.

After that Daichi and Tanaka tried to calm Hinata down. But Hinata keeps getting mistakes.

"Hinata, you idiot. Why are you nervous. Let me beat it out of you", Kageyama shouted which made Hinata more nervous.

Kageyama was about to beat Hinata up but was stopped by Tanaka. And Hinata wasn't getting better. Seeing this Daichi signaled Takeda Sensei for player substitution.

"Hinata, use this moment to see how others play. I know you want to spike but there are many things in volleyball other than just spiking", Kenshin said to Hinata who was depressed.

"Woah, I didn't know that Kenshin can also encourage others"

"He sure talks like a sage sometimes"

"Damm, why is he good at everything"

"Kenshin, let me beat you up to satisfy my anger", Tanaka shouted at Kenshin. Sugawara stopped Tanaka.

After that Ennoshita got in place of Hinata. It was now Kenshin's chance to serve. In his last serve, he raked 6 points with his powerful left-handed Jump Serve only to be stopped by Iwaizumi who has experience picking up Ushijima's serve.

This time Kenshin went for right-handed Jump Serve. Kenshin aimed the serve at Kindaichi who is at the back. The ball went to Kindaichi who failed to get the point.

Karasuno- One more point

Seijou- We will get the next one.

Kenshin got another 2 points before he saw the Hanamaki getting near Kindaichi. Kenshin decided to do a Jump serve. Now that players have moved near the end line to receive his powerful serve.

Kenshin served the ball in the middle, confusing Aoba Johsai's and getting another service ace.

"Damm, he has taken 4 points straight"

"He sure is a monster like Ushiwaka"

"Don't worry we will get the next one"

After that Kenshin was trying to make a net in but due to improper jump toss, the ball fell in their side.

"Huff, this Kenshin's serve sure is deadly. I think this is what our opponents feel when Oikawa is serving". said Aoba Johsai's assistant coach Mizoguchi san.

"This is not the only thing amazing about him. His receives and spikes are also powerful", said Coach Irahata. Just after he said this he saw Kenshin scoring with a supercross spike with his left hand.

"Not to mention his ambidextrous ability is dangerous. Not to forget Karasuno's captain who is a great receiver and baldie kun who has a powerful spike. Karasuno will be an interesting team this year", said Coach Irahata.

The came continued with Karasuno making mistakes with serves and receives but Kenshin and Tanaka making up for it. It was now time for set point for Karasuno.

It was Daichi san's turn to serve. Daichi sent it to the setter, Yahaba but Matsukawa got the ball up. Yahaba set the ball for Iwaizumi san who spiked it hard but Kenshin blocked it.

But before it could drop, libero Watari picked the ball up somehow. Hanamaki sent it to Kindaichi who spiked the ball. The ball touched Tsukishima's hand and Ennoshita san picked the ball.

Kageyama got the ball and set it for Kenshin who jumped high and stayed in spiking form till the block went down and spiked the ball. The ball touched Aoba Johsai's hand and the umpire blew the whistle.

Everyone except Kageyama and Sugawara was amazed by the aerial time delay attack.

A few days ago...

"Sugawara san, there is a spike I want to try. Can you please help me", Kenshin asked.

"What kind of spike", asked Sugawara curiously.

"I can hit higher than I am doing now. So, I want to do some sort of aerial time delayed attack", Kenshin replied.

After that Kenshin jumped regularly and his spike point was 352cm. When Kenshin put some effort into his jump, his spike point was 369cm.

Everyone in the gym was amazed at the jumping power. Hinata kept on saying something like "I won't lose". Tanaka started shouting "I won't let my kouhai get ahead of me".

After that Kenshin kept practicing aerial time delayed attack with Sugawara and Kageyama.

Present time...

"Woahhhhh", Everyone on Karasuno started running towards Kenshin and started jumping at him. Kenshin just used the footwork technique he learned in his martial arts classes to dodge his teammates.

Coach Irahata looked at Kenshin and said while sighing, "If they improve their receiving a bit and few other mistakes then Karasuno might become a formidable foe"

"But improving receives and other basics can't be done overnight. At least until Inter-High, it won't improve much", said Oikawa from behind Coach Irahata.

"That's true, now go and warm up now. You requested the match and you, yourself is absent from the match", said Coach Irahata making an angry face.

"No problem, Coach", said Oikawa while smiling.
