The Day of The Duel

It was now morning and it was the day of my duel. Yesterday Maria's suitor challenged me to a duel over Maria and I gladly accepted.

"Now I know that I already have two wives but why not have more. I mean you know what they say, the more the merrier" I thought in my head while I was relaxing in bed with Mia and Hibana. I decided to let them rest and I got up and took a bath. This castle had huge rooms and the bath was no different.

The bath was like 20 feet long and it was 3 feet deep so you could relax in here and not worry about drowning. I didn't stay in the bath long but I stayed long enough to clean myself.

I then went outside to start getting ready for the day and warming up even though it was four in the morning. As I was stretching in the yard I saw Maria running laps around the main house and was surprised to see her this early. I got up and hollered over to Maria,

"What are you doing up so early aren't you a princess shouldn't you be getting your sleep"

"I am a princess but what does that have to do with what time I get up in the morning, but you are right I should be asleep but I woke up an hour ago and I couldn't fall back asleep." Maria answered as she ran over to me.

"I have been nervous about today and your duel with Daryl. I don't want you to get hurt for me" Maria stammered as she looked over the place.

"It's all right there is nothing you have to fear I will beat this "Daryl" and then you will be fine, plus you will also be my wife so having me around you will always be safe" I responded to her in a comforting way.

"I believe you but just make sure you win, Daryl has changed since our last meeting he seems more angry and sporadic now. Be careful but if you have to kill him only do so when necessary" Maria said worryingly.

"Alright Ill be careful so you should go back to bed and get ready for our wedding ceremony" I answered

"You're very cocky.. But I like that about you" Maria said quietly and she came up to me and kissed me.

"Just showing you a glimpse of what you will get later" Maria said with a flustered look on her face and then she started to run back toward the house.

"I'll see you at the duel" I yelled while waving. Now not only do I have more pressure on me but also it seems like I will have another wife by the time the sun sets today.

I stopped stretching when I heard a branch snap 30 feet away so I quietly approached the sound that was coming from behind one of the trees.

"Mack, are you sure this will help me beat that Henry kid during my duel later?" a familiar voice said.

"Yes Daryl this will give you an edge in today's duel and if all else fails use this" The mysterious figure quietly said while handing Daryl what looked to be some sort of potion or drug…

"So not only was I gonna have to kick this guy's ass but I also would have to do that while he is all drugged up. Sounds fun I can't wait for the fight" I thought to myself as I silently retreated back to the house.

"It's about time that I went back inside and got breakfast. Mia and Hibana are probably worried about me and i'm starving so there better be sausages, eggs and more for breakfast". I walked back to the castle and went back to my room where I found Hibana and Mia still sleeping. I walked over to the bed and slapped both of their asses waking them.

"And here I was thinking you two were worried about my disappearance but nope. You two are still asleep huh"

"We were a little worried for a bit but we knew it was you and we knew that you would come back to us" Mia said while rubbing her ass.

"Well get up and get ready because we are going to breakfast. Maria and her family will be there as well so make sure you look good" I said as I went to sit in the armchair while I would wait for them in the bath.

Twenty minutes later Mia, Hibana, and I were walking to the dining room for breakfast where we met with Maria and her family on the way.

"How did you guys sleep last night?" I asked.

"Pretty good except for some noise that seemed to be coming from your room" The king responded and Mia, Hibana and I all started to blush.

"Well.. lets get breakfast shall we" and so we had breakfast with the king and Maria and we got ready for the duel that would take place at noon.

As I was walking to the "Locker room" at the colosseum Maria ran up to me and said.

"Good luck today. I will be cheering for you from the stands" and then she kissed me and ran off again.

"What a troublesome girl" I thought when I looked across the hall and saw Daryl. He looked even worse than earlier today and I could feel a malice in the air about him. I knew that he had taken some type of drug, but for it to be this strong is surprising.

Daryl looked up at me and glared then he walked away towards his "locker room". When he glared at me I could see a sort of cloud in his eye. Something that looked out of this world. I would find out shortly anyways so might as well get ready. I closed the door to the locker room and I prepared for the upcoming duel.
