Ginnan looked away. "How long has it been..." he mumbled softly. But secretly his chest felt relieved for no apparent reason.
"Come on." Renji took him away again. Ginnan came along. Every now and then he still scratched his neck which was a bit uncomfortable on the road.
"But why only me..." said Ginnan. "Just because I'm in the same position as your woman, you're not wearing any makeup."
"You don't like it?" asked Renji up ahead. Ginnan stared at the wide back until his grip tightened subconsciously.
"Not really. You're okay anytime and anywhere."
"Right."
"Good. So confident..." Ginnan said skeptically. His tone became more lazy unconsciously. "Just like the usual Renji Isamu—"
"What's wrong with being beautiful?" interjected Renji. Up ahead, maybe the man was smiling. "You are a man but think of it as an advantage."
"Excessive you say..." Ginnan muttered. "There are a lot of people who make fun of me."
