Ryouta, Nana, and Veer haven't come home as well as they said before leaving. It's snowing again. The joint prediction on Christmas Eve in two days may not come true, but Ginnan still hopes it will come true.
He had fed Cleo, Gee, and Len three times today. Ginnan was also enthusiastic about combing their soft fur. All three obeyed when put on dog socks with ribbons to keep them warm. And to their dismay, they went to bed before 8 pm under new blankets—huddled in each other's arms—and didn't wake up again until morning.
Ginnan did not refuse Renji's invitation to sleep together in the guest room that night. He smacked Renji like Cleo, Gee, and Len out of jealousy for attention… then woke him up in the morning with the ringing of bells and a hot breakfast on the dining table.
"Morning…"
Ginnan greeted by putting down the sweet mineral milk. He was still pacing around in the apron because Renji's favorite curry stew wasn't done yet.
"Morning."
