Play the game!!!

"How? I am sure I will be getting my resignation by tomorrow. I insulted him in front of everyone, the management, and the people and in front of the team he was appointed as the leader for" Jerika said.

"How did you get in there in the first place?" Daulat asked.

"How did I? You know how I did?" Jerika said.

"Use that source again" Daulat suggested.

"I am not going to do that… I am not going to beg him again" Jerika told Daulat.

"Come on… he is your only living family and you know he will do anything if you will ask him to especially now when he knows your condition" Daulat said.

"My condition!!! Have you been ratting me out this entire time?" Jerika asked.

"He gets worried!!! He asks for you and you should go visit him. Besides he is the only person who can get you inside the Zion and also fulfill all your terms" Daulat answered.

"Do you want me to play unfair?" Jerika asked.

"I want you to keep playing" Daulat said.

Jerika went to the Zion Mansion to meet her father. She had not talked to him from many years but since the past two years, he was very supporting, he was considerate and he was very much concerned for her too. Jerika was not used to all this as she always thought that her father was a creature who care nothing about her and of her emotions. Greg Zion was a very primitive person in thinking. He was living with his primal rules and tried to raise Jerika with the same. He was not very big fan of girls working and he was the person who made all the orthodox rules of woman not working inside the Zion.

Jerika entered the mansion and she looked around to the place in which she spent all her childhood alone. Everything was just like it was when she left. Her father did not like change much and he did not welcome it easily so to make perfect sense that his father will never agree for what Jerika came but Daulat was right, Jerika at least needs to try.

Jerika asked the servant about her father and he told him that he was in his study. Jerika went there and knocked on the gate twice as the old man did not like to be disturbed abruptly.

"Come in" a voice came from inside.

Jerika entered the study, finding her father sitting on the arm chair with a book in his hand.

"Reading something interesting?" Jerika asked looking around the bookshelves filled with books from different genre.

"Reading is all I can do now" Greg said putting his book aside.

"That is not entirely true. You are running the whole business" Jerika said.

"But for how long? My age has started to catch me up and I would like to rest now but you never stop to cease my troubles" Greg told Jerika.

"Me!!! What did I do?" Jerika questioned although she knew he was talking about her fight with Antoine.

"Dear… I am still the big boss and I have eyes and ears around… you did create a quite big scene at your workplace and that is not professional" Gred told Jerika.

"I did not know that you have been taking tabs on me" Jerika said.

"You are my daughter… of course I will do that" Greg said.

"Does that make you a concerned one?" Jerika asked raising her eyebrows in questions.

"Why are you here Rika when you already left the station although I am not sad about it but you could have done it in a better way but then it is you!!!" Greg asked.

"There is no better way Dad and you can blame me as much as you want but I have worked there. That place is not suitable for a hard worker because they do not appreciate the hard work but the gender of the person working… thanks to the person who made such arrangements" Jerika complained by tapping on the table in front of her father.

"Are you here again to pick up a useless fight?" Greg asked leaning back on his chair.

"I am here to get the justice which I deserve" Jerika said crossing her hands.

"If you have told people about your real name then maybe" Greg said.

"My name is Stoll… I left Zion as my identity when I married" Jerika said looking at her father in his eyes.

"And where did that take you?" Greg mocked Jerika.

"Will you help me or not because if you have not realized then I must tell you that you share a bid deal in getting me into this big trouble and making my life this miserable" Jerika rebuked.

"Grab a book" Greg said.

"What book?" Jerika asked.

"Anything… anyone which could calm you down and help you processes your thoughts" Greg told Jerika.

"I do not need to…" Jerika was saying when Greg stopped her in middle.

"This is your problem Rika. You need everything according to you and inside your comfort zone because you know no other way yet you deny what you could have so easily just because you said no in the past due to your childish temper and you decide to continue to do it to keep your heads up and attitude intact in front of your own father" Greg scolded Jerika.

"That is not true" Jerika said lowly.

"It is not?" Greg asked rudely.

Jerika left the study because she was afraid that she would give in to her emotions if she stayed there any longer. Greg kept calling his daughter to come back but she still went away. Jerika sat on the driving seat and started driving the car but stopped with a jerk as her tears gave in. Jerika knew that her father was not entirely wrong and that makes her feel sadder but her father had no idea how she felt growing up all alone and with the strictness managed by her father.

Jerika decided to visit Brian as she had been waiting for this moment from last two years. Jerika wiped her tears and drove to the hospital. She went inside the room where Brian was in. Brian was sleeping and his blanket was falling. Jerika went close to cover him properly and Brian suddenly opened his eyes and grabbed Jerika's hand.
