You Better Hurry

Upon reaching the cave, those militia that was protecting the cave have now been replaced by the guardsmen. Taking a seat near the fireplace, Daniel could feel the warm that it emitted. These last few days still feel like a dream to him. Anything from arriving here, summoning the guardsmen, and defeating the orcs.

At this moment, the familiar voice once again sounded within his mind. Regarding the system, Daniel have a very complicated feeling. It was because of this system that he miss out on a peaceful life with his sexbot.

Taking a deep breath, Daniel said "so you have been silently watching this whole time?"

"I do hate you for ruining my peaceful life but I'm also not one to dwell to much on something that can't be changed."

"To survive of course, if I can't get a peaceful life the easy way then I will cut a path towards that goal in blood."

The system went silent with Daniel declaration but only for a minute before speaking up in a more serious tone.

"Since you have seen everything that's going on then you should know that our first hard trial in this world is coming very soon." said Daniel.

"Hmm, if we fail then it is certain death. I still have the city upgrade blueprint but not sure how much that will help."

Although Daniel doesn't know how the tribe would look like after using the city upgrade blueprint. However, anything with a city in its name can't be to bad. The bad news is that, If it as he imagine then the city will become a prison for them while the orcs marauder will be bringing a bigger army.

"I know..."

At this moment, footsteps could be heard coming from the outside as two guardsmen lead a young man into the cave. But Daniel didn't bother to look up to know who it is. Once the guardsmen have escorted the young man closer to Daniel, they took a step back and watched the young man carefully.

Still wearing his bloody armor and feeling the warmth of the fire, Daniel said "have a seat young chieftain, I heard that your tribe intend to surrender to me."

Seeing the chieftain of honor tribe who wasn't any older then himself. The young man found it hard to believe that such a person could have been born a human. He could feel a suppressive aura coming from honor tribe chieftain which cause his body to tremble a bit.

Calming himself down, the young man bowed and said "yes honorable chieftain, my name is Aiden and I'm sure you already know who I am. My people no longer wish to continue being an enemy of your tribe. We also hope that you will be able to take our people in as your own."

"I'm not to sure about being honorable but I do need manpower for my war against the orcs. But due to our tribe conflicts that is deep rooted for generations. How can I be sure that your people won't betray me once I let you in?" said Daniel as he look up at Aiden.

Once their eyes met each other, for some reason Aiden body tremble violently as he couldn't help but fell on his knees. Those calm and emotionless eyes that was staring straight at him. Made it feel like their was a ferocious beast in front of him.

Even Daniel was surprised on the inside when he saw Aiden conditions.

'System, can you explain this?' thought Daniel.

'Ahhhh I see but why it only work now?'

'Is that so...'

A few minutes later, after pulling himself together. Aiden said "we wouldn't dare to even think of betraying you. With your strength, it would be easy to crushed us if you wish for it."

Daniel didn't agree or disagree as he said "then you better hurry back to your tribe. On my way back from the battlefield, my scouts have found a huge army of orcs marauder. And they seem to be heading towards the direction of your tribe."

Hearing what Daniel have said cause Aiden face to turn pale. He knows full well that his tribe won't be able to hide from the orcs once they arrive near the territory.

Deciding that the only way to salvage this is with Daniel assistance. Aiden bowed deeply towards Daniel and said "please save our tribe! I beg you!"

Shaking his head, Daniel replied "I don't have any manpower to spare at the moment. Even if I do, I won't send them to die along with your tribe. Go back now as every second you are here is a bad thing for your tribe. If you can survive and come back then I will decide to take you along with your people in."

Just a few days ago, they were still enemies so he can't expect for Daniel to send his people out that easily. Knowing full well that what Daniel said wasn't wrong, Aiden still can't help but grind his teeth in anger.

When he was about to speak up, Daniel voice can be heard once again.

"I will let you borrow one of our horses, if you rush back now then their might still be a chance to save your tribe."
