Good and Bad

"Good job James and thank you for your hard work Thomas." said Daniel as he showed his appreciation when needed.

"It is our honor to be of service lord!" both men said at the same time.

"Please continue to stockpile supplies, we don't know how long the battle will last."

"Yes lord!"

Pleased with their attitude, Daniel wanted to help as well. Since they are all in this together, then there's no reason why he should hold onto supplies that can help in the upcoming battle.

As he about to make his way outside to summon the supplies. A system prompt was heard inside his head.

'Hmm? care to explain?' thought Daniel.

'Yes, so that is a perk of having absolute authority huh.'

'That's convenient, so how would I go about doing that.'

Following the system instructions, a 3D hologram of the city appears in front of him. Looking at the hologram, Daniel can see the complete details of the city. Not only that but he can actually see the tribesmen moving around.

After picking the location, he simply wave his hand, two hundred huge crates appeared outside the throne room in the spacious yard. Stacking neatly on top of each other in two different piles.

"Outside, you will fine two piles of supplies. One is for you Thomas, inside are all iron ore. While the other consists of variety of dry food. Besides keeping soldiers feed, we also need to think about the people." said Daniel.

"Thank you lord!"

This show of power once again solidified their beliefs in Daniel. But they didn't know that after the city upgrade was completed. Daniel have the absolute authority inside the territory. You wouldn't even be able to open a door if he decided to lock you in or outside of a building. That is the reason why he was able to summon the supplies outside of the throne room. He simply connected his store inventory to the outside space.

Once that is done, Daniel turn his attention to George who have been waiting patiently for his turn to report. Seeing that Daniel is looking at him, George got up and bowed before saying "reporting to lord, I have finished organizing the information regarding each household as you asked. I have also commission for people to create identity tags for everyone in the tribe."

"Make sure the identity tag is unique to our tribe and cannot be copied. There will be many uses for these tags in the future. And continue to list families under one main household instead of individually. If someone in there families get married then labeled it as a branch of the main family." said Daniel.

"Yes lord but may I ask what uses you speak of regarding the tags."

"You will know in the future but what I can tell you now is that the orcs is not the only thing we should fear. And the tags will help us identify that hidden fear."

Suddenly another system prompt appears in his mind again.

'Hmm?'

- Honor tribe city gate -

Rumble! Rumble!

A horse along with a man covered in blood and two arrows in his back appears in the distance riding towards the city.

"Rider approaching!" yelled a militiamen on the wall to the men below.

Five militia immediately line up with spears in hand for a possible fight. But when they have a better look at the approaching rider horse. Their faces relax somewhat, since they recognize that horse which belongs to the chieftain warriors.

Seeing the city, the rider ignored his serious injuries and yelled out as loud as possible.

"I need to speak with honor tribe chieftain! it is an emergency!"

Hearing that it is an emergency, an older militiamen said "Go inform the chieftain, we will take him to old Joe for treatment. Don't want him to die before speaking to the chief."

"Understood!"

Soon, Daniel could see a guardsmen leading one of the tribe militia into the throne room.

Upon seeing Daniel, the militiamen took a knee and bowed respectfully before saying "reporting to the chief, an unidentified rider have arrived at the city saying that he must talk to you about an emergency. The only thing we can recognize is the war horse that belongs to your warriors."

"Where is he now?"

"We have taken him to old Joe for treatment."

"Then let's go." said Daniel as he pull up the 3D hologram of the city to see where old Joe is residing before making his way outside.

Everyone was surprised by Daniel sudden action and could only follow behind him. Especially, the militiamen who was confused as to how Daniel knew where old Joe is since the city are so big.

Twenty minutes later, the group reached a two story house. Outside, their is a sign saying "Clinic" to tell the services that it provides. Stepping inside, Daniel can see the building is fully equipped. But he knows that it is not the time to inspect the equipment now.

Noticing old Joe sitting next to a bed with a man wrapped in bandages. Daniel walked over and said "what messages have you got for me?"

The appearance of Daniel startled the injured man but he was able to recover quickly and asked "are you the chieftain?"

"Yes, now speak."

Taking a deep breath, the man said "I am from the fang tribe, after the young chieftain returned in time to warn us and we barely got away before the orcs found the cave. When we thought that everything is fine, a detachment of orcs rider caught up to us."
