The shocking question

"This is for you. We have to warm up so we don't catch a cold." Sarah held out a drink to Jonathan who was sitting with his palms on his thighs.

He took the drink from Sarah's hand.

"Are they teasing you?" Jonathan asked in the direction of the tavern.

Sarah shook her head.

"No, he gave me advice on getting cleaned up and buying a change of clothes," Sarah said honestly. "It turns out that not all humans in this world are evil." She muttered.

Jonathan held the drink with both palms, feeling the warmth of the drink that made his heart a little warm, he turned and looked at his daughter's face carefully.

"You are growing well and beautiful."

Jonathan's compliment was like a heavy blow to Sarah's chest, she took a deep breath, swinging her legs, she removed her high heels and folded legs on the chair, maybe to feel warmer.

"I didn't grow up well, dad. I didn't grow up well," she repeated words with a different intonation.
