The pregnancy and kingdom

And soon the ball resumed. Linda went to each of the royal guest along with her father and attended to them, clinking her glass of champagne with them.

When she finally came to the werewolf family, those gray eyes which had almost made her heart stop kept on looking at her without any break. Linda could feel her face starting to burn with shyness as the crown prince bore his eyes into her face. The intensity could be felt by the redness of her face, until the werewolf queen asked if she was okay.

"Dear, are you okay? Your face is red."

Linda shook her head and looked up at the queen with a slight smile. She couldn't possibly tell the queen that her son's intense gaze was the reason for her current situation. She heard the gray eyed, handsome man chuckling a bit and Linda's face couldn't be any redder.

Having noticed his daughter's red face, the king thought the possibility of her being exhausted and so he allowed her to get some rest for the next day. Linda thankfully went off her way, all the while trying to avoid the prince's eye radar.

But who knew that before she could reach her quarter, she would be cornered by the man who had been intently looking at her.

"Shuo?"

Now that she got to take a good look at the prince from such a vicinity, she was shocked. Shou had been her childhood sweetheart and they had almost even promised to marry each other while they were young. Shou and Linda were like childhood lovers, whose relationship was however almost impossible.

But the friendship was still there to hold onto them. Shou just nodded with a playful smirk playing at his lips, as he inched closer to Linda. Linda didn't stop him because not only was her heart and mind in chaos but also were her hands bound by this strong man.

With just a centimeter of distance between their lips, he whispered huskily, "I missed you.", before taking her lips into a frenzy hot kiss.

Linda's brain went haywire as she stood still with shock, but soon she found herself playing with his hair and pulling him more closer to her. Both of them were lost in the moment of passion for a good while. As both of them tumbled and made way to her bedroom, they unknowingly had already reached the bed, with their clothes strewn all around in the room. With a final nod from both parties, they lost themselves in the sweet and passionate night of passion which knew no tomorrow and no right or wrong.

The next morning, Linda was crowned as the queen of the vampire kingdom. The kingdom hailed with the name of Linda for a good few days. But who knew that Linda would be soon left alone and abandoned by her own people.

Four months later, after the trial where Linda wasn't even justifiably allowed to speak her side story, she was punished and exiled to the human world. The reason – her pregnancy. The only thing that made her characterless. The rule that allowed no vampire queen to be devoid of her chastity before marriage or at least being the queen.

All that Linda could remember now was that she was literally kicked out of her kingdom. Those faces which she could never forget. The disappointed look on her face and that beautiful face of her mother having been painted with sickness. That snickered and disgusted look of her younger lively sister and the other disapproving looks of royals … they were still etched clearly in her memory.

What was removed from her memory … was the fact about the father. Who was the father of the child she was carrying in her womb? And.. with whose child was she pregnant? Was it a royal vampire or who other? All she could remember was the strong build of that man and those mesmerizing gray eyes. She should have been disgusted by that man, but she was actually inadvertently drawn to that man with striking unique gray eyes.

Having been exiled to an unknown world, Linda was initially wary of the people living here. The people in human world were said to be quite weak in comparison to the vampires, but anyways the vampires still had to keep their identity hidden. The main reason for this was that humans are not just social creatures weaker than them, they are creatures with a very imaginative brain. The imagination that makes them more versatile than any other creature could ever be.

Vampires were physically powerful but if compared to humans, they lagged behind in terms of imagination, technology and high intelligence. Vampires and supernatural creatures of their kind are more oriented to the physical power and focused on practical things rather than running behind useless things, but humans grab onto anything that catches their attention or anything that could satiate their need and wants or become a new invention of the future.

Linda walked around aimlessly in the unknown place that she was sent to. She could see the onlookers giving her odd looks but nevertheless she carried herself with grace, the grace that she had been taught to carry since young.

Her beauty gained attention of many onlookers, some of whom even took pictures of her while others just praised and passed by. Linda however, only wanted to observe the thing common in all of them or something that might help her to settle in this unknown place.

After about a day of wandering around, she came to a conclusion that she needed to find a job to be able to keep herself from starving. She would also need to find a place to stay, to avoid the dangers of unpredictable seasons and find a shelter for herself as well.

Suddenly, her stomach growled loudly. Linda kept her hands on her stomach and covered it while she literally ran from that point because of embarrassment. She had roamed the town all day and asked to be hired for any job she could be possibly hired for. But she was refused at all places.

Some didn't want to hire a pregnant woman and some others didn't want to take the responsibility if anything risky happened with her.

One woman even went as far as to say at her face that she didn't want to hire her as it might cause her own beauty to be overlooked by Linda's. Linda was almost speechless at such a weird reasoning.

'Human world is quite similar to my kingdom. But now what will I eat? I can't go to any place and eat there for free.'

Linda suddenly found a bar, outside which was an advertisement for hiring bartenders with a special need of female bartenders. Linda thought about the possibility of getting landed with the job as she made her way into the bar.

The bar was jam-packed with people. Men and women dancing like crazies while other couples trying to find a corner for themselves. Some were even making out in the open, with people cheering them on.

Linda averted her eyes from all such scenes and tried to look for the manager or the bartender. She soon found him. The manager seemed to be a middle aged man who was giving orders to the waiters here and there.

Linda approached the man seeing whom the manager suddenly bowed down asked her for the service she would like to have.

"So what service would you like to have mam?"
