Narrator's POV:
As the Second Regiment leaded by Zemislav finally arrived at the destined place of the meeting, in a far away distance, the regiment saw the overwhelming number of knights stationed ahead.
"The hell??"
- Alden said in shock.
"Look... look at those mass numbers of knights over there. Did the high officials of the Order really considered them as troops? They're more like battalions!"
- Heldrick said in surprise.
. . .
Zemislav's POV:
*Zemislav's looking at the stationed troops ahead*
. . .
As I look over the troops stationed ahead of us, I could not help myself but wonder.
. . .
Judging by the number of knights at this distance, I somehow agreed to Sir Heldrick's statement.
Those 'supposedly called' troops addressed by the high ranking officials to their letter aren't actually troops. They are 'battalions' .
*Zemislav took a moment to look at his regiment*
Currently, in my regiment, I handled 2 battalions and 2 companies which is lesser in number in my previous military unit.
If troop 4 managed to come along my side, it should be a total of 3 battalions in my regiment, which is 1/16th of my actual capacity army unit which I can handle.
My previous experience in my early battles near the Barren Lands, at Age of 19, I handled a Division. It was the day that the Empire is waging war against the Necrokeep.

*darkened expression*
It is my first ever experience of handling a huge army and being assigned in my first ever division.
. . .
Among the men I've lead in my division, only 2 regiment were left alive. The remaining regiment were killed during my power berserk and the encounter.
1 company were killed in the actual battlefield and the rest of 1 regiment were accidentally killed by my power.
. . .
I was horrified at that time, I even condemned myself to the Order of my treacherous actions but it seems, they only cared about my earnest triumph I brought from war, which made my disgust and anger towards them rises.
They said that; 'sacrifices are natural in the midst of war. Without sacrifices, you cannot attain true victory' .
They also added something about the 'loss' thingy. They said that; 'losses that are made after war, incinerate the fuel of determination and will in each and every warrior. With inferno of hatred that mustered in each of individual's entirety, it'll create a power and hunger to battle their enemy.'
. . .
Yes, I understand it more than anybody. As one of the soldiers of war, those things cannot be avoided. Knights seek victory, same goes to the other side.
This 'Wheel of Hatred' makes the loop constantly moving. Ending this what so called 'The Cycle of War' is just an old folk's delusional tale.
. . .
As much as I want to end this cycle, what else can a mere ant like me can stop a colony?
Even monarchy can't subdue this cycle, as the flames of hatred already instilled in each and everyone's mind.
. . .
Forgiveness in this era is hard, unless you wanna pretend like one. But genuine forgiveness is hard to attain, especially it already made a scar in each and everyone's mindset.
. . .
*sigh*
Why the f*ck am I worrying in this times of days? How the f*ck am I complaining about this? Even I, myself, is also stuck in this never-ending loop?
. . .
And what in the f*ck*r's sake am I talking to my thoughts while meeting with the rest of the *err* troops? What the f*ck were you thinking right now you b*tch-*ss*s Me??!
*deep exhale*
Yeah, yeah... I'm swearing again inside of my thoughts. Well, I do have time talking to myself right now, since it is still too far away though.
*heh!*
True, my regiment already arrived in the designated meeting place, but maaan! They're still far away and they already brought a sh*t right into our f*ck*ng eyes.
. . .
I wonder how many battalions they've sent? The Orders didn't tell much about its man-at-arms armies or whatsoever. The Light's Order's schemes were vague and fishy.
Lying through their sent letter means, they must be hiding something from me.
*Zemislav looks towards ahead*
By that great number of knights dispatched by the Light's Order recently, I can feel it...
. . .
An unprecedented battle awaits without me, knowing what it actually really is.
. . .
Margarette's POV:
As we all walked together, I took a glimpse of what's ahead.
. . .
What I saw in my eyes is incredibly shocking. I know I'm pretty much dumb in estimating stuffs but those large number of people ahead of us exceeds of what we know 'troops'.
I heard from Zemi that the Light's Order recently dispatched 2 troops which now arrived at the Southern Part of Castle Aberleen.
. . .
But....
. . .
By the looks of it, they're not actually troops... They're more like battalions for me.
*Margarette glanced on her husband*
I know Zemi wouldn't dare to lie, especially when it comes to this matter but...
. . .
Do the high officials of the Order hides something why they have to lie towards Zemi?
*Margarette looks again to Zemislav*
Did they plan something without Zemi's awareness? How could this be?
. . .
Handling great number of military unit is not an easy feat, even for an experienced veteran, they still be having a hard time organizing and establishing tactics in battle.
. . .
*clanging of armors while walking*
I heard from many experienced knights during the Demon Outbreak when I was 22 years old that Zemi is one of the youngest Lieutenant General who were able to lead an 'army corps' for a brief moment.
It was the moment of a great battle against demons when Zemi's still 25 years old at that time.
*armor clanging sounds of marching*
He was assigned on that position because he is known as a knight who possesses great leadership and successive tactics, which brought not just triumph to the Empire, but also few casualties of his men.
That's the reason why the high officials of the Order acknowledge him, and was trusted in becoming a temporal Lieutenant General at that time.
*sounds of pebbles stomped*
I didn't know much about those things since I was in Vonetis Islands, at Perlas Isle because of a mission assigned by the Light's Order to me.
- - - - - Narrator - - - - -
( explainations )

Vonetis Island
~ are the home of the Dorik people. The islands are an ideal place to live and a natural harbor with their beautiful scenery and pleasant climate.
Perlas
* Islands with ports scattered around it *
~ is located in the center of the Vonetis Islands. There are many ports here for the islanders to enter and exit the islands and conduct trade.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
. . .
I don't know if Zemi's aware of this, but if the Light's Order is planning something, I...
. . .
*deep exhale*
I don't know what will be Zemi's reaction on this kind of matter.
Narrator's POV:
Most of Zemislav's men were wondering about the misconception of Light's Order's information, except Tigreal, since he is not aware of such things yet about different military units of Light's Order.
- - 10 minutes have passed - -
The regiment leaded by Zemislav finally reached the other 'battalion'.
"Oh? If it isn't Sir Zemislav of a freak, ignorant tribe of folks men? Or let's just say Colonel Zemislav of Alien Tribe for appropriate address of one's rank."
- Orphium said boldly.
". . ."
- Zemislav remains quiet.
*Terence pats the quiet Zemislav's shoulders surprisingly*
*pat!*
*Zemislav startled*
"Wow! I didn't expect that a commoner like you is being acknowledged by those lazy *ss*s! Congrats Sir Commoner!"
- Terence said insultingly to Zemislav.
. . .
After all the insults heard by Zemislav's men towards their leader, Margarette clenches her fist due to irritation and anger but, still remained quiet for some reason.
The two *err* captains noticed Margarette behind Zemislav. Orphium decided to take steps towards her and walked pass Zemislav.
*footsteps in a rocky ground*
"Ooh?? If it isn't the drunkard princess Margarette? I didn't expect I'll be able to see you this close?"
- Orphium said in an insulting way.
Margarette remained unresponsive to their blabbering but Orphium's action has gotten indecent as he tries to look at her in dirty way.
*dirty stare*
Orphium is about to touch Margarette in an amorous way but Zemislav quickly stepped in and pat Orphium's shoulder heavily.
*pat!*
*slight clang of armor*
*Orphium's surprised*
"Sir Orphium, it was nice to meet you again for 2 decades of parting. It was an honor to team up with you again."
- Zemislav said as he grin towards him.
*Zemislav glares at Terence*
"Same goes with Sir Terence, who earnestly gave me an unforgettable experience in the midst of battle crisis before, which soon became my greatest experience of becoming what I am right now. Hehehehe!"
- Zemislav said calmly as he laugh in, yet still maintaining his grin.
*Zemislav laugh cunningly in a funny way*
"It was a great honor to meet up with you two once again for over 2 decades!"
- Zemislav said in a childish manner, while maintaining his grin.
Terence and Orphium gone quiet for some time and they let out a disgusted expression on their faces, upon hearing Zemislav's words.
Zemislav let go of Orphium and he faces them both, boldly.
"So, uum.... Sir Terence, Sir Orphium when did your... *err* troops arrived? Did... did I made you all wait for such a long time? I... I'm so sorry if I made you all wait for-"
- Zemislav said calmly.
"Troops? Seriously? You've achieved such great heights in Light's Order's Military Unit yet you still can't tell? What in the Heavens, Lieutenant Colonel?! Are you that dumb?"
- Terence said as he frowns in disappointment.
". . ."
- Zemislav remains quiet as he maintain his idiotic expression.
"Can't you see?? Orphium and I were handling 2 companies each? If we combined our men, it'll be a battalion."
- Terence explains.
*Zemislav still pretends*
"And since those detestable, golden *ss*s of the Order wanted to unite us with your kiddo regiment, that'll become a full-fledge regiment or brigade you got there lad!"
- Terence explains as he crosses his arms, showing disappoinment on Zemislav's lack of intellectuality.
"Ha? Full-fledge regiment? But the high officials told me that I already took a lead in 'this' regiment? How can you tell it's not full-fledge regiment?"
- Zemislav idiotically ask, funnily.
"You useless buffoon! Did you seriously think you can call your foolish band a 'regiment', knowing that you lack in numbers? I mean, you only have 2 battalions in your hands, and you seriously calls it a Regiment?"
- Orphium reacted.
"Are you completely serious, man? You earned such a high status yet, you don't know this small things, such as military units? What the hell??"
- Orphuim said in disbelief, yet in an insulting way.
". . ."
- Zemislav remains quiet.
"*tch!* What a waste of that title of yours. If only I'm the one who received that status, I won't let anyone disappointed at me unlike you, knucklehead."
- Terence said in a disappointed expression.
*Zemislav's still listening*
"Okay, enough talking. I hope that all the explaining we just did just now whacked your numskull of yours. Geez."
- Terence said as he scratches his head.
. . .
"Anyway, since the Light's Order recently dispatched your unit, did they left any words regarding this matter?"
- Zemislav ask as he maintain his dumb look.
"The Order told us to collaborate with your plans, and strictly follow your regiment's main objectives of the mission."
- Terence replied seriously.
*Zemislav slam his fist to his palm in a funny way, which means he got the idea*
"Woah?? That's surprising to hear. I didn't expect that."
- Zemislav said in an idiotic way.
"*tch!* Sir Terence, I cannot bear to follow this simpleton's lead. *ugh!* He is still an immature leader for me."
- Orphium said in disgust.
". . ."
- Zemislav remains unresponsive.
"He may greatly acknowledged by those *ssh*l*s but I cannot simply accept that this knucklehead raised such ranks. I mean, look at him! He's a total doofus! He doesn't deserved to be trusted with high military unit, such as handling a regiment!"
- Orphium insultingly said.
". . ."
- Zemislav remained quiet.
Orphium goes closer to Zemislav and tried to push him and fall to his knees yet, Zemislav's d*mn sturdy, so Orphium just managed to bulge him in his position.
*pushed*
Upon hearing all the insulting words that came out from their foul mouths, Margarette couldn't hold much of her irritancy towards those folks.
Veins on her fist bulges, and her cool slowly diminished as she's about to lunge towards them, and give them some harsh beatings but....
. . .
She's calmed by Zemislav, whose hand been blocking her path towards them, as if, he's telling her to calm down and let him do what he can to sort this out without resorting to violence. Margarette's impulse calmed and let Zemislav do his thing.
*Zemislav comically laugh in an idiotic way*
"Oh? Is that so? Sorry, sorry. I, too, also doubt why I reached such heights. Heheheheheh! Well, high officials of the Order sure are confusing sometimes. Wahahahah!"
- Zemislav said in a joking way.
*deep exhale*
"Anyways, if you two were incompetent of my leadership, I let you two handle things from now on."
- Zemislav said.
"Zemi....!"
- Margarette shouts in denial of the statement.
"Since you two were questioning my leadership, I am fine if you two temporarily take lead of this regiment. But...."
- Zemislav said.
*eerie aura*
"If you two endanger my men... I'm afraid that I'll show you.... what I've been capable of."
- Zemislav said in a threatening way.
". . ."
- Orphium and Terence remains quiet.
*snap!*
"Anyways, that's all I wanna say. You two are now in charge in this regiment. Heheheheheh! Lead the way, leaders."
- Zemislav said in an idiotic way.
When Zemislav turns his back, Terence charges at him at full speed, grasping Zemislav's shoulder and sway him to his direction.
Zemislav finally maintained an eye contact to him, showing no signs of surprise. Terence angrily grapple Zemislav's neck as his veins on his face is bulging due to anger and annoyance.
". . ."
- Zemislav remains quiet.
*Terence is gnawing madly*
"How dare of you to threaten us, lowly commoner. Do you think I'm afraid of you?"
- Terence angrily said.
*gripping*
"Do you think all the praise those *ssh*l*s given you, are simply enough to prove your superiority against us?"
- Terence said in anger.
*griping sounds intensifies*
"You may have achieved countless achievements but you are still a f*ck*ng commoner who persistently begs for high official's promotion, for a sole purpose of feeding his pathetic, sullied stale tribe of his."
- Terence said as he gnawed.
". . ."
- Zemislav remains unresponsive.
"A lowly commoner like you, doesn't deserved to be praised by many. The rightful impression towards you is being thrown to a sow's f*ck*ng excrement!"
- Terence slammed Zemislav as he finishes his sentence.
*SLAM!*
*pebbles breaking sounds*
Terence stands in an intimidating way. Zemislav struggled to get on his knees and he is about to take a glance on Terence, to see his expression. But when Zemislav's about to glance....
*spit*
*splat*
Terence spits on Zemislav's face and it slowly flows down on his face. Zemislav didn't utter a single word.
Terence grabs Zemislav's chin and slowly raise towards his face.
"That's what you get for threatening us, you s*n *f * b*tch."
- Terence said in an annoyed expression.
*spits again!*
". . ."
- Zemislav remains quiet.
Terence stand up and kick Zemislav's nape which made him fall to the ground.
*ground slam*
*pebbles sounds*
. . .
With such great humiliation which Zemislav just received towards Terence, all knights in the second regiment remained quiet as the breeze just passed by.
. . .
"Alright, you heard what this f*ck*ng b*st*rd just said. Starting from this day forward, I, Terence, will now be taking lead in this Second Regiment."
- Terence said boldly infront of everyone.
"The second-in-command will be Sir Orphium."
- Terence said as he draws Orphium closer to his side.
"And now, we'll be heading straight towards the Barren Land's territory as there will be, without a doubt, the place where the highest concentration of demons were stationed there."
- Terence boldly said.
"With these number of men, I believe we can annihilate the demons who resides the Barren Lands, and with that said, we'll come back to Lumina triumphantly."
- Terence said in reassurance.
*all were listening*
"This mission last for 1 month of execution but, with my great leadership and tactics, we'll finish this mission before the due time."
- Terence said.
"I know you all were itching to finish this mission quickly. Fret not my dear friends, I understand and heed your plead, I, too, also felt the same way as you do."
- Terence said.
*all remained quiet*
"Now, since our original route will be in Castle George's territory, let's change the course and the mission's actual goal. From patrol mission to annihilation of the Demons' Nest at the Barren Lands."
- Terence said.
"Now, any objections? Suggestions? Clarifications regarding my plan?"
- Terence said as he crosses his arms.
*Margarette gasps*
"Wait... Did you just said 'my plan' just now?"
- Margarette said in a confusion.
"Yes... Mistress. Are you paying attention to what I just said?"
- Terence replied.
"What? If it is your plan, does that mean you are making your own rules without reconsidering the Order's instruction?"
- Margarette asks again.
"Yeah, so what?"
- Terence said.
"Wait.... Your gonna ignore the true objective of the mission? And by the way, your plan is too risky. It might drove our companions to danger. If you-"
- Margarette said in concern tone.
Margarette didn't able to finish her sentence as she saw the menacing look towards Terence.
