The Second Regiment: The Scheme III

Narrator's POV:

"Uum... You sounded so serious man! You creep me out!"

- Terence said in shock, funnily.

"Will you cut that disgust look, you b*st*rd!"

- Orphium rants comically.

*Terence laugh*

"Anyway, since there's no other option left in our hands, we should take this route."

- Terence said.

"So everyone, let's move out towards that ruin and there, we should take a rest."

- Terence said.

     "Affirmative sir!"

- all replied.

      ". . ."

- Zemislav didn't say anything.

The second regiment finally made their move towards the ruins.

- - - - - Meanwhile - - - - - -

At the entrance of the ruins, the second regiment were standing near it. Most of them were surprised of how big the ruin is.

Tigreal's POV:

Wow!

. . .

I... I can't believe this. At a far distance, I thought that the ruins would be...

Ya know, small? Well, can't be helped though. Eyes are always playful and tricky most of the time.

*yawn*

Oh yeah, additional to that, drowsiness made you see things fictitious. Well, technically speaking, trying to force yourself to be mentally active with drowsiness in it, of course your delusions will surely materialize.

Some were true and some were not. But most of all, when we talk about drowsiness, of course, it's not real.

*sigh of relief*

     Anyway....

*yawn*

At long last, I can finally take some rest.

"Okay everyone, let's a take shelter at the ruins temporarily. I know most of you are already drowsy. So here it is, you can finally rest."

- Sir Terence said confidently.

"Once we finished resting, we'll explore the ruins and head towards the Barren Lands."

- Sit Terence said.

      "Roger that, Sir!"

- all yells.

*yawn*

       "Finally, I can sleep."

- I said with relief.

. . .

     When we're about to leave...

      "STOP!"

- a male's voice in a distress tone.

At that very moment, we all focused our attention to a distressed voice.

Zemislav's POV:

By the moment I heard Sir Terence commands, I started to move on my feet. But suddenly....

*thunderclap in his thoughts and he gasps*

When I take a step forward, I felt an ominous energy coming from the ruin.

*sweat in uneasiness*

Why did I suddenly feel this kind of sensation? Something isn't right in here. I've... I've....

     "STOP!"

- I yell in dismay.

*all attention are now focused to him*

      Gotta warn them.

"Oh? I thought I heard a goat scream just now. Heh! It was just you."

- Sir Terence said with a disappointed look on his face.

"Sheesh! What do you want you stinky commoner? Why with a goat scream?"

- Sir Orphium ask with a disappointed look.

*gnawing*

"We... we have to stay away from that... ruin."

- I said in fear.

     "And why is that?"

- Sir Orphium ask with doubt.

*gnawing intensifies*

     "It's.... Dangerous!"

- I yell in dismay again.

*all were surprised*

"This place... is lingering with danger. The vibe here... is unexplainable. I.. I dunno why but we have to stay away from that place."

- I said in dismay.

"*tch!* Shut up you creep! Why the hell will we listen to you anyway?"

- Orphium said with doubt.

I know... I couldn't hide my fear since I cannot basically tell the sensation I've felt.

Sir Terence and Sir Orphium wouldn't dare to listen to me since in their eyes, they perceives me as a lowly commoner who doesn't deserved to be promoted as a knight of the Empire.

This feeling never cease, unless I disappeared from their sight? Will that end?

      Neeehhh... Heck not...

. . .

I tried to plead them desperately but they kept on ignoring my ceaseless begging. So, that's the moment that I....

*Sword CLANG!*

Couldn't hold back being annoyed to their rudeness towards me.

*all were surprised*

"As a leader of this regiment, I demand not to take any more steps. Failure to do so will be stripped off from their title as a knight."

- I said boldly as I hold my sword that's impaled to the ground.

"Ooh? You've sounded so serious now boy. *hmph!* You finally learned how to speak against your senior eh? I like that!"

- Sir Terence said with a smug and slight annoyance look of his.

"So, when the moment I take another step, what will you do? You'll gonna fight me?"

- Sit Terence said in a smug look.

. . .

"When fair  negotiations has been neglected by either sides, I'm afraid that I, Zemislav, will declare and resort in violence in determining the decision."

- I said seriously.

"*tch!* That tone of yours... It's full of confidence. It makes me wanna dump you to my f*ck*ng d*ck right now."

- Sir Terence said in an annoyed tone.

"Heh! Oh well, probably you're just too drowsy why you're talking sh*ts right now. Don't worry, once we entered that Ruin's premises, I promise you'll take a nicest place to sleep."

- Sir Terence said.

      ". . ."

- Zemislav didn't say anything.

      "Alright everyone, let's-!"

- Sir Terence said with a smug face.

*tch*

"I don't want to do this sir Terence, but you leave me no choice."

- I said as I lowered my head due to disappointment.

     ". . ."

- Sit Terence continue to step towards the ruins.

When Sir Terence didn't heed my words and decided to advance the Ruins, I dashed towards him with a slight speed.

. . .

*rustle*

My impulse are running wild that, I have no control of my actions.

*gripping sword*

My pure hatred has blinded me.  I thought that I was going to murder Sir Terence but thankfully...

*CLANG!*

      He blocked my attack.

*sword clash friction*

*Terence smirks*

"Ooh? Would you take a look at that? You finally shown your true colors at last, lowly commoner."

- Sir Terence said with a smug look on his face.

" 'True colors'? *tch!* I'm always being myself you f*ck*r!"

- I said in anger.

*sword friction intensifies*

"It's you that needs to be showing your foul, and disgusting colors you have."

- I said with a slight irritation.

*sword friction greatly intensifies*

"Ooh? Look at our comrades over there? Their eyes are so shimmery white because of your surprise assault you did just now."

- Sir Terence said in threat.

      "Don't pretend I didn't warn Sir Terence."

- I said seriously.

"Oh yeah? Well, I didn't hear your meow-ish warn of yours Zemislav."

- Sir Terence said with a smug look.

*grit*

      That f*ck*r..... I really...

*gripping*

       Really....

*Zemislav slightly put some power to his grip and managed to outwit Terence*

*swish*

      F*ck*ng hate him....!

*Terence couldn't maintain his balance, which made him fall to the ground*

*boof!*

. . .

"Formulating your own plan and try to change the system of the mission is purely misconduct and against the regulations of the Order. You, Terence does not worthy to be given such power to hold any military units of the Empire."

- I said seriously.

*Zemislav puts back his sword to his back*

"Now, I should head back to Castle George at once, and I'll follow what the Order has given to me to fulfill."

- I said seriously.

When I turned my back from him and decided to walk away.....

"If you leave, will that mark as abandoning your comrades? And oh? Abandoning your comrades in a verge of mission is just a piece of cake, since you easily disregard life in past, just like how you did back when you first granted to handle a Division that battles the Undead."

- Sir Terence said in a provoking manner

*gasp*

"*hmph!* Do you think, most of the knights here in this regiment will surely follow you? Now that we've came this far, don't you think anyone here will follow you back to Castle George?"

- Sir Terence said in a provoking manner.

"Not just that, if you continue your unthinkable ways, the Order itself will mark you as rebel too."

- Sir Terence said in a provoking way.

*Zemislav's speechless and Terence, stand up and go near to him*

"Yes, I did say earlier that everyone must follow my plan which is.... *grin* ... now against the Order's Law. But don't you think, going back to Castle George will even help you from being marked Disobedience? Or infact, a rebel?"

- Sir Terence said in more provoking tone.

*stuttered*

"What...? What do you mean by that?"

- I ask confusedly.

*Terence smirks*

"Last day, I'm pretty sure, there will be officials monitoring at Castle George's territory. And if one of the officials of the Order finds out that your regiment is nowhere to be found in that territory, they'll sue as a rebel."

- Sir Terence said with a smug.

*gripping due to anger*

"Now that you know already, do you still have any guts to go back?"

- Sir Terence said cunningly.

*Terence grins*

"You had a son right? If my memories serves me right, your son named Alucard, isn't that right?"

- Sir Terence said.

"I heard from my men that your 'dear son' regarded you as a great hero. Ooh... Such great hope and excitement from his. It makes you think that it's shameful of you if you betrayed that young lad's aspiration, right?"

- Sit Terence said in a provoking tone.

*Terence lets out an evil smirk in his face*

"But... What will be your son's expression once he finds out that you, the aspiring hero in his eyes, labelled as a 'Rebel' and executed mercilessly infront of the crowd? What will you do, friend?"

- Sir Terence said as he threatened me.

"We all know, 'Rebellion' is one of the greatest thing which the Empire detested. Once they've found out someone that rebelled their law system, they, without hesitation, inflict public shaming and guillotine you in the midst of crowd."

- Sir Terence said in a provoking tone.

. . .

*gnawing*

     That.... Jerk....

*Terence is still giving an evil smirk*

      How... dare he blackmailed me....!

*gripping fist greatly*

That treacherous, f*ck*ng piece of sh*t!!!

. . .

"That's one heck of a hardest decision right, friend?"

- Sit Terence said as he smirks and pat me on my shoulders.

"Now, now... Enough depressing about it. I know what will we going to do now."

- Sir Terence said.

"Sued as a 'Rebel' is not a joke. But, if you go along with my plan, and if we successfully infiltrated and annihilate the demons that resides in the Barren Lands, wouldn't you think those shiny *ss officials will just disregard the fact of this regiment's disobedience?"

- Sir Terence said.

"Just like how those f*ck*ng *ssh*l*s ignore the fact of you, being a mass murderer of 1 regiment in your first division. And how those shiny *ss*s tried their best to cover up the things you spits ya know."

- Sir Terence whispered with a mischievous tone in my ears.

     ". . ."

"Hmph! You said so yourself didn't you? Such an honest f*ck*r you are."

- Sir Terence said.

*grit*

"Now, friend. If you cooperate with me, we can show those pathetic *ssh*l*s who's the real boss! And they'll repeat the same thing as what you did in the past, like nothing happened."

- Sir Terence said with a blissful expression as he pats my shoulders.

     I....

*grit*

I couldn't do much anything from here.

*Terence walk away and head towards the ruins with ease*

*gnawing*

     Why?

*gripping his sword, and draw it*

*shiing!*

Why didn't I talk back then?

*Zemislav remembered the scene were he remained quiet as Terence is taking the lead*

*gripping*

*sword raised*

If only I... I just stopped them back then... I....

*roar of anger*

*sword's in position and ready to be used in attacking*

*Terence is observing his back*

*SLAM!!!*

*deafening sound of sword impact from the ground*

*all were surprised*

. . .

*regretted*

This... wouldn't have happened in the first place.

*breeze whistles*

     I'm.... so naive!!!

*bellows in thoughts*

*the regiment gone seriously quiet*

If I didn't just cower, and didn't let my inferiority complex manipulated me back then, this...

*sobbing in his thoughts*

      This... Couldn't have HAPPENED!!!

. . .

Margarette's POV:

. . .

     What... was that just now?!

*Margarette's looking to her frozen husband ahead*

     What's going on??!

Tigreal's POV:

*gasps*

I... I don't know what happened but I did saw that there's something happening between Sir Terence and Mentor Zemislav.

. . .

D*mn it! I'm so drowsy! I... I can't think straight! Even my perceptions and senses are also affected!

C*rs*s!!! Why didn't I rest last time before we set journey at Azure Lake before??!

      D*ng it!

. . .

Narrator's POV:

After the commotion which caused by Zemislav, everyone started to wonder despite the drowsiness they all felt.

"Now, let's go everyone! Let's go inside the ruin and we shall take our rest there."

- Terence said calmly.

*marching*

So, the second regiment entered the ruins.

Zemislav, on the other hand, kept on blaming himself why it all turned out this way.

When the second regiment finally stepped foot towards the ruin, there's an unknown entity watching them from afar.

A vestige-like figure started to materialize as the regiment didn't fully aware of what's happening.

When the Second Regiment continued their march, they're not aware, that they are now walking in the palm of unknown which brings nothing but imminence.

     "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!"

- unknown, and unrecognizable voice.

. . .

- - Two week have passed - -

( Inside the Light's Order )

Many days have passed, there's no news towards Alucard's parents and their regiment.

No message owl, pigeon, or any messenger animals or creatures that are capable of delivering messages have ever arrived in the Light's Order.

No reinforcements or back-up, and no status has ever arrived during their mission.

*Alucard was standing near the Order's entrance*

    Thus, Alucard start to worry.

*Alucard's trembling as he grasps both of his hands to quell his trembling sensation*

Young Alucard can no longer sit idly and pretend like nothing anymore.

He...does not have a kid-like mentality, like the other kids.

. . .

He's clearly aware of this sort of sensation.

Alucard's POV:

*trembling in fear and also yearning*

Wha.... what's going on? Why didn't mama and papa didn't send any letter regarding their mission?

*trembling intensifies*

. . .

Or perhaps I'm just dozing off all the time that's why I didn't notice?

*awkward moment*

     F*CK YOU BRAIN!!!!

"What???! WHAT DID I F*CK*NG DO TO   BE BAD MOUTH BY YOU??!!"

- my brain rants and snarls.

WHAT THE-??! IT'S JUST A HABIT YOU F*CK-*RD!!!

       "SHUT UP YOU ALU-CROAK!!"

- my brain rants.

     WHY YOU-??!

*signal interruption, funny*

. . .

Alright, bro brain and I finally settled down.

      "OH NO! NO! WE HAVEN'T-!!"

- my brain rants.

*KICK!!"

       That solves everything.

*cleaning hands*

Heheheheheh!

. . .

*happy to sad*

I wonder what happened to mama and papa right now.

. . .

*Alucard glimpse on a knight who's standing near the bulletin*

. . .

Maybe, I should start asking some knights in the Order.

So, I hop away from my mini chair and approached the knight near the bulletin.

When I am finally beside him, I pinched his trousers and managed to get his attention.

"Umm... Sir knight... Can... Can I ask you some... Something?"

- I cutely ask.

"Oh? If it isn't Sir Alucard, the only son of great Zemislav and Margarette! What can I do for you?"

- the knight said.

*awkward sensation*

"And oh by the way, my name's Caine, nice to meet you, young sir!"

- Mr. Caine sincerely said.

*awkwardness*

. . .

"Uum... I... I would like to ask about... Aah... Well... Is there any sign of my Mama and Papa coming back here? I... I missed them already."

- I said cutely but I can't hide my worried face.

The moment I asked Mr. Caine on that kind of matter, he gotten quiet all of a sudden. With that sudden silence, I could not help but worried.

. . .

*Caine sighs*

"I'm.... truly sorry young sir but your..."

- Mr. Caine said with hesitation.

*Caine lets out a deep exhale*

"Sir Zemislav and his second regiment didn't send any status regarding their mission. I fear that, there must be any delay or interference of message deliverance in their location."

- Mr. Caine continues with a slight worry.

. . .

*trembling*

"But fear not young sir, your parents are skilled and Great Knights of Light's Order! With Sir Zemislav's great leadership, they will surely accomplish this mission in a least period of time!"

- Mr. Caine said with a cheer.

"Moreover, Sir Tigreal's with them too! A Wertz's prodigy whose skills competes with the tiers!"

- Mr. Caine cheerfully said as he pats me on my shoulders.

"So, you gotta believe in them young sir."

- Mr. Cain said with a heart-warming tone.

. . .

Mr. Caine cheered up me up and his words are filled with pride and honour.

That surely indicates that he really do have great trust in my papa.

. . .

*tch!*

Why did I doubt my mama and papa?

*snarl*

Stupid thoughts of mine!! I should have been the one who possess that trust of his!

It should be me, not him!

*hiss!*

. . .
