A lot is happening since the evacuation from the damaged Future. We've lost many human beings already and the count continues to grow. As if that was not enough, equipment received a lot of damage and we are still unable to get in touch in any of the disconnected modules.

Currently, we are sticking to our temporary camp - that is, the one set by the group I ended up with. Everyone is slowly adjusting to this new planet, trying to rebuild our equipment and obtain resources required for further action. At this point, conducting research is not an option, but colonists already started preparing for establishing the settlement, though I doubt they will go with our current location, despite it being quite secure since the place was selected by military personnel.

Fortunately, air here is much cleaner and has more oxygen than on Earth. There is also a plenty of water in the area and we have secured a lot of food to get by. Still, based on our experiences so far, we cannot expect surviving will be easy.

Personally, I'm relieved this many people made it, because it gives us hope. Then again, we are scattered around the planet without means to contact each other - for now at least. Slowly, but surely, construction of basic appliances is proceeding well, though soon we will have to send our scouts farther and farther away in order to obtain missing resources.

Our survival is possible for sure. Being able to complete the mission and return to Earth is another thing. After spending so much time on the surface, most of us expected to already get any kind of information, contact or sighting of the Future's modules. I've mentioned that there was no contact and that's because of the state of our equipment and magnetic interference common on the planet, but with the size of each module, we should be able to see the lights even from the surface, and nothing of the sort happened.

Given the amount of damage the ship received, it was obvious modules won't be able to move as fast as smaller pods, and everyone expected them to reach the orbit later on - however, the longer it was taking, the more people were gossiping about the worst case scenario of modules getting destroyed.

Honestly, I'm still hoping this won't be the case. Nevertheless, here on the surface, we have no means of helping there in any way, so all we can focus on right now is surviving. Anything else can wait for when we get accustomed to the new environment and settlements are secured enough for us to resume our main objectives.

Personally, I would love to explore the planet and investigate all these interesting pieces of aliens' ancient technology, but there are much more important things for me to do right now. Hopefully, it won't take that much longer.
