"Mister?" Sky said the next morning when he arrived at the training spot, surprised to see Kronos sitting against a tree.
"Good Morning." Kronos replied, his eyes still closed as he was enjoying the quiet morning.
"I'm here because they're going on another quest, this time bringing all of the stronghold's fighting force with them, because of that Leeds had to leave." Kronos said preemptively, already seeing the question being asked.
He got up and dusted himself off. "Ms. Anastasia should be here in 2 minutes, after that we'll go to the training grounds for today where we'll be training until Bahrny and the other leave." Kronos explained.
Two minutes later shuffling could be heard in the woods as Jennifer made her way through and into the clearing. In her hands was a glossy white orb inside of which was a red glow. She walked into the clearing and looked at Sky. "Kronos has already explained everything to you I presume?" She raised an eyebrow towards Kronos who nodded in return.
"Great, then." She held the orb out. Kronos walked forwards and placed a hand on it.
"What is this?" Sky asked as he placed his hand on it, copying Kronos.
Jennifer placed her hand on it as well then looked up at Sky. "It's a Travel Orb, one of the few things Blitz left at this place when he left." She said before taking a deep breath.
Suddenly the orb started to glow brighter as the three of them eventually became embraced in a bright red light. After a few seconds the light died down and with it the scenery changed as well.
They were now standing on dark brown, almost black dirt with grey plants growing out of them. Around them were trees of different species, some large and green while others thick and with spiky grey leaves. GRRRRRR!!!!! The ground started rumbling. Sky looked around and froze. To their left was a giant volcano with lava dribbling out of it. However none of it was making its way towards the forest but instead was falling down what looked to be the other side. The smoke and ash created by the volcano was also not making its way towards the forest but instead going directly upwards in a large straight line, never spreading out.
"This isn't where we're supposed to be..." Jennifer murmured.
Kronos looked around and scowled. "We're about to find out why we're here." He turned around to face the volcano.
There was rustling around the trees which soon transformed into the sound of footsteps. Suddenly a dark figure's outline could be seen. In a matter of moments the stranger entered the tiny clearing the three travelers had arrived in and smiled.
He was wearing a black shirt with its sleeves rolled up and the first button unbuttoned with a loosely tied red tie flung over his left shoulder. He had on black pants and a strange mixture between dress and hiking shoes. He had a deep scar on his face and golden eyes and black slicked back hair with greys strands.
"Brother… it's been too long." The man said as he spread his arms out.
Kronos clenched his teeth and started walking forwards aggressively. "Prometheus." He said.
"Yes Brother, now let ta-"
Kronos pulled back a right punch and slammed it into the face of Prometheus, sending him flying into a nearby tree and denting it.
"Shishi" Prometheus started laughing as he got up, "Shishishishishishi… that was weaker than I remember..."
Kronos spat in front of Prometheus. "Where have you brought us?" He shouted.
"Ah… well the best place for you to train young Sky over there of course." He dusted himself off and smiled at Sky.
"I'm not training him." Kronos growled.
"Oh come on brother..." A pained mischievous look flashed in Prometheus' eyes, "Are you really going to quit being a mentor after failing once… you'll set a bad example for your students you know."
Out of thin air a Scythe flew into Kronos' hand. The sickle was a dirty golden that warped and changed, drawing you in the more you stared at it. The handle was made of pitch black steel. The ground nearby froze as Kronos brought it close.
Sky inched his way towards Jennifer. "Who is that?" He asked in a hushed voice.
She turned to look at him. There was a terrified look in her eyes that quickly disappeared. "That is Prometheus, younger brother of Kronos and the titan of fire and forethought." She explained.
"Ah, before we start this I should let you know, that Travel Orb was a one time use only," Prometheus pointed at the orb in Jennifer's hands. As if one cue the orb started cracking before turning to powder and disappearing in the wind. "And only one person here knows the quickest way to get you back..." He smiled at Kronos.
A look of anger and annoyance flashed on the face of Kronos before he threw away the scythe that once again disappeared into thin air. Prometheus smiled before walking forwards, towards Kronos. Once within earshot he whispered, "You know you wouldn't be able to defeat me now in the state you're in."
He continued walking until he stood before Sky and Jennifer. "I don't need to introduce myself as young Jennifer already has but it is quite a pleasure to meet you," He bent down and kissed the hand of Jennifer, "Bewitched child of misfortune."
He let go to see a look of terror and disgust on her face before turning to Sky. "And you, second son of Zeus." He smiled as he took a shallow bow. He looked up and saw a confused look on Sky's face and smiled before his face contorted.
He quickly spun around, "You're unlike the others… Sky... " He murmured to himself. "NOW LET US MAKE WAY TO THE TOWN!!" He shouted as he threw his hands in the air.
He started walking towards the volcano, left with no other choice the three followed.
