"Being married to you means the world to me. Don't worry about my family, they knew, and they were much eager to protect you. I don't care if my life would be in danger as long as you are safe. My life is not normal without you in it. Ah… what was the last one?" Jacob stopped and rubbed his chin trying to remember J's last word before he interfered.

"Ah! Right!" Jacob's eyes gleamed when he seemed to remember. "I was so glad that your grandfather dragged me into this messy and complicated life of yours. Because if he didn't, I would be forcing myself into your life, even if you don't want to."

"Was I able to answer all your questions, Mrs. Jacob Parker?" Jacob asked, emphasizing how he addresses J as Mrs. Jacob Parker indicating that whoever she is, she would still be his wife.

At the age of 10, J's parents died in an ambush leaving her in the care of her grandfather who years later sent her away along with her best friend to hide her and her identity from those who would try to kill her after her parents.

20 years later, a lot of things had already happened. Her grandfather died. She is back in the country for good though still hiding her identity. Everything was peaceful until a man came claiming her as his wife.

Since then, her peaceful life flipped upside down. People who want her dead found her but his so-called husband never left her. He was even willing to kill and be killed just to protect her.

The Society's Heiress

The following weeks were spent gathering information and formulating strategies in stealing Relish's gold without anyone noticing. They were now going through the plan, polishing it, and making sure that the mission would go as smoothly as they hoped it would.

Although they were certain that it was going to be a tough mission as the vault that held Relish's golds was armed with a wide array of alarms and anti-theft devices, they were confident that they would be successful in this mission.

The vault where his golds are located in one of Relish's mansions that are not known to most people as it was rare for him to visit or mention it.

And to Stefan's surprise, the mansion was in the town where he went the other day searching for Trixie. He soon realized that it was Adriano Relish, who Violet was talking about to be the wealthiest man in that town. The man who owned the limo who picked up that young mother that Stefan cannot seem to get out of his head.
