The Fisherman at the Basement

Two weeks after her identity was revealed, Nora was starting to get the hang of it. She is starting to get used to the security details following her around. With two of them being her friends, it was easier, and felt less uncomfortable.

At the hospital, she would still receive uncomfortable glances and as expected, she had heard rumors that she was using her identity to her advantage. She had talked to her parents about it and they just said that it was the people's right to make their opinion as long as it doesn't affect her.

Nora asked, what if it does affect her? Her parents' response was just to be indifferent about it. As long as her conscience is clear that she is not using her identity to her advantage, then she should not be worried about what other people think as it would be toxic and unhealthy for her.
