A Date With A Good Man

Once the door of Sadie's bedroom closed, she leaned on it and sighed heavily as if she had run a mile. She walked towards her bed that was at the center of her bedroom and let her body fall on it.

With her back on the bed, she stared at the ceiling with a lot of thoughts running through her mind.

She felt better when her mother and aunt J didn't say anything about her dating Dylan. Though she knew that they had nothing to say because she was old enough to date and decide on her own and besides, Dylan is undoubtedly a nice guy.

If Dylan was hiding a skeleton in his closet, her father and brother would be the first ones to tell her to stay away from him but so far, they weren't. In fact, they were not saying anything about it. That means Dylan is as good as he appears to be.
