Four thousand years ago, the demons were forced back into Oblivion by the Scions, a magical race that received their strength by blessing from the mighty Eidolons. With their realm sealed, humanity was saved from them forever. Or so they thought.



Now, the seal has weakened and the demons are slowly encroaching the human world. It started with a series of anomalous and gruesome murders, prompting three parties to form a response team to combat the rising threat of the demons



One of the members of this team is twenty-one-year old Hale Athansios, a seemingly mundane young man. That was the case until he discovers that he's a Scion after a near-death experience with a demon. Along with five other Scions, they form humanity's defense against demons. VANGUARD.
