"Liam let's go."

"Wait for a second,' the male says, putting on his shoes. As he tied up his shoes, he stands up, walking straight to the open door, meeting his best friend.

"Let's go," Liam utters making Cameron nod at him. Liam closes the door behind him, making sure he locked them first before leaving.

All five of them walk in a group as Cameron leads, reminding Halle that they look like ducklings following their mother. Halle step up his pace to walk beside Cameron, leaving Emily's side empty. "Where are we going to meet them?"

"At the small park besides the library," Cameron answers as he takes a glance at her. Halle just nodded, continuing the walk without uttering a word.

On the other hand, Liam's gaze fall onto Emily, looking from her back. His eyes remain resting on her until it falls onto the ground, looking at the brick solid pavement they are walking on. Liam is a little bit lost in his thoughts.

Probably a bit too lost to realize that Matthew who is walking beside him can totally see what is going on.

"The basketball captain has a crush now?" Matthew think in his head.

Not surprised though. Emily does look like a type that Liam will fall for, although it is a little bit unexpected. To think again, them both kind of go well together.

Both of them are quiet. Liam is sporty with brain while Emily is definitely a book worm and judging by her body, she does have a fit body. She can totally be an athlete and the coach will definitely like her instantly.

Both of them has a small friend group and doesn't talk much, but they will definitely do something when they see that something is wrong.

They sounds like a chill couple that you know will never cheat on each other.

Rethinking about that, Matthew find it cute. He could not help but form a small quiet smile.

They are not even together yet but they have already gotten a silent supporter.

Now, it all just depends on time.

After minutes of walking, the big old styled building finally reaches their eyes. At the small park beside the library, a group of five high school can be seen surrounding a table, some sitting, some standing.

On the other hand, the male leader who is standing is just supervising his teammates who is doing their own task for their position.

He begins to feel bored looking at the same view, knowing that they are doing fine. So, he lift his head up to see a group of five students who are walking towards his table.

He open up his mouth, "guys, they are here," making his friends lift their head up to their group project leader. Catching them looking puzzled at him, he sign the appearance of the Masopine High School students with his eyes, looking straight in front of him.

They move their head to the direction, standing up afterwards, finally processing what the leader has been trying to say.

Cameron step on the green grass as the others follows behind him, the sight of the Cleston High School students becoming bigger and bigger. Finally reaching a close steps, Cameron let out a small polite smile at the students who are welcoming them with their face.

He looks at the students at one who is standing besides the table one glance before resting his gaze at the guy who was keeping his head low, watching his teammates through his glasses.

He must be the leader.

"I supposed, you are Ethan?" Cameron asks him.

He let out a small laugh. "Yes, I am Ethan."

Cameron reply to him with a big smile, stretching out his hand for a handshake. "Nice to meet you."

Ethan gladly takes his hand, uttering the same words Cameron said to him. "It is nice to meet you too."

There is a quick break of silence. The serene sound soft wind breezing can be heard, taking the leaves with it as the leaves fly in the air, taken by the wind.

It is pleasant, to say the least.

"So, why don't we start with introduction?" Ethan speaks, suggesting the first and one of the most important thing in working with someone. Getting to know each other.

"Yeah sure, a simple introduction?" Cameron question, looking at Ethan.

"Yeah, just a quick one. We can have a more deeper dive later."

"Okay then," Cameron nods. "Why don't you start first."

"Yeah, sure," Ethan accede. "My name is Ethan Moore, you can call me Ethan."

For a few second, the people besides Ethan look at each other, confused whether which one of the should go first. Watching the situation, Ethan quickly come in to handle it. "Going with you Sam," he says with his hand slightly pointing at his friend on his right.

Sam looks at Ethan, processing the information as he looks around the table, looking at the other eight people who are watching him. Human attention, it has been some time since he experience this.

"My name is Sam."

Going on the next person, she looks at Ethan for permission, which Ethan nod at.

"Geez, these people," Ethan thought in his head. She doesn't have to look at him for permission at all but she did. Sometimes he even wonder himself, how he got himself into situation like this.

But being a leader he is, he never regret it. His teammates just need a little push, and he will be glad to help them and move as a team, together. Growing people's potential into something more.

This is why they got the perfect leader.

The girl open up her mouth, uttering her name. "My name is Lily."

"I'm Mark."

"I'm Alex."

As the Cleston students finish introducing themselves, they look at the Masopine students, anticipating their turn.

Cameron looking at them, he turns around to take a quick glance at his teammate. "Oh, so I am Cameron."

Going to Cameron's right, Halle introduce herself. "Halle Reid."

Ethan eyes moves to the girl behind Halle for her to introduce herself, only to notice the person that he bumped one time ago in the library. She open up her mouth as she looks at everyone. "I'm Emily," she says, her gaze that was travelling at the faces of the students now stuck at Ethan.

This is why you shouldn't zoom out while everyone is literally talking. Plus, she was hiding behind Halle, making in one hundred times easier to doze off.

Noticing at Ethan whose gaze stuck on her as the introduction turn moved to Matthew, Emily gives him a small polite small. He gladly gives back her smile with a bigger one, feeling somewhat delighted seeing Emily.

Well, they met before. They even hang out together in a cafe. So, yeah. It kind of gives off good mutual feelings.

"Liam," the last guy says, ending the introduction session.

Ethan move his gaze to Cameron who is looking at him. "So, should we move on with the project?"

"Yeah, definitely," Ethan utters as he let out a nod.

"Have a sit," Ethan says, his hand pointing at the empty seats of the long table.

His sits on the wooden chair as his gaze focuses on the beads and stretchable cord. He slips the bead into the string as the bead falls meeting a chain of other beads. The beautiful round gray marble beads starting to look together, looking like a real bracelet.

Last but not least, he slips in a heart shaped metal into the beads chain, completing the bracelet. He tie a strong neat knot, adjusting the beads as he hold the now complete bracelet in his hand, satisfied by how it comes out.

"Harlan," a not too loud voice can be heard calling his name from outside of the room. Hearing the call, he stands up, opening the wooden door searching for the source of the voice.

He walks to the cashier, where the old grandma can be seen examining a book that she hold in her hand. She looks up, finding the boy she called for.

"Can you sent this book back to the library for me, please?" the old lady says as she slightly put her hand that is holding the book forward. Harlan nods as he walks closer to the grandma, taking the big hard covered book.

"Thank you," she let out as she flashes a smile, stretching the wrinkles on her face. Harlan slightly bend his body down to her as a sign of "welcome" as he rises the tip of his lips minimally.

With that, he walks towards the door of the shop, stepping his foot on the red bricked pedestrian as the chilly air faintly bow his hair.

The library is not that far from the shop. It is just some minutes away. Masopine town has two place that is focused onto the economic activity and public facilities. One is the one where he is walking at and the other one is not too far, but because of where his house is located, he always go to the one he is walking in right now.

Same goes to other people. Almost everyone knows each other unless you just moved, or you are very very quiet that people almost go unnoticed about you.

After minutes of walking, the big library can be seen on front of him. As he walks, he notices a group of people, sitting like they are in a meeting at the small park besides the library. It doesn't really catches his eyes until he notices familiar black hair.

As he was about to get in the library, he stands in front of the door, holding the handle, taking a quick look at the girl.

It is Emily.

A feeling of somewhat joy gushes in his veins, getting to see her after school. Both of them don't interact much in school due to how quiet they are and Emily loves to finish her homework in the middle of slips of free time they have between classes. Sometimes, she even help him with his home works so he can push and understand more.

About Emily helping Harlan is not really a shock for their classmates since they acknowledge that Mrs. Ellery is the one who asks Emily to be his mentor so the news doesn't spread to the whole school.

Another perk in this school, the students doesn't really like gossiping. Even if there is, it is just a small bunch of people. The others is usually too lazy to know about others or doesn't really eat bullshit.

Something inside of him lowkey wants to hang out with her again. She is definitely someone who is fun to hang around or probably he thought so because she is the only person he ever hangs out with.

Either way, Emily looks like a kind person. He doesn't know her that much for now, but he definitely cool to be friends with her.

Wait, are they even friends before?

Perhaps.

Maybe.

With the hint feeling of glee, he pushes the door handle, keeping his eyes on Emily before it moves into the library.
