oh we like the same things?
Here I am walking around in a mall,
The hell am I even doing here, I don't have any spending money,
But what I do have is the time to walk around aimlessly in a mall,
Quite a choice, I know,
It's not every day you see someone walking around the same store to just look at what they're selling.
Or maybe it's pretty common I dunno,
Maybe kinda suspicious,
But I ain't thinking of anything near suspicious,
"This is boring," I said.
I decided to walk, again, to a different part of the mall, the open part.
And I'll be honest, I love it here,
Got air blowing on your face, seeing the sunset, and of course...
"A beautiful view," I said.
What a nice time to stay in a top part of a mall only to look at the city down below.
"Yeah, the view is really beautiful up here," someone said.
"Yeah," I respond as I look at the person.
Who would've guessed it, a girl
I start to feel a bit shy, who doesn't, maybe some narcissistic dickheads who think it is natural for people to approach them.
Or maybe I'm overthinking this,
"H-hey, you," I said.
She smiles,
"Hey, I've been seeing you a lot here," she said.
"Oh, that's cool, " I said.
CONVERSATION 100
"Yeah,"
"Well, my name is Ben, It's nice to meet you,"
"I'm Ashley,"
"It's nice to meet you too," she added.
Awkward laughs, awkward smiles,
Kinda envy her courage to actually talk to me,
"S-so, you've been noticing me for quite a while?" I asked
"Yeah, I see you come here before the sun sets so you could see it,"
"I always stay near you whenever you watch it,"
Woah,
Hmmm,
How did I not notice,
"Am I the only one who watches the sunset?" I said.
I know, a pretty rude answer,
"Well no, but you're the only one that I noticed,"
My heart skipped a beat,
Not literally,
"I-I'm sorry for not noticing you earlier," I said
"I wouldn't blame you, you seem to be the person who likes to stay alone,"
"You know it," I answered, followed by an awkward laugh,
"W-well, what about you?"
"What're you like Ashley?"
"Well, um, I like the things you also like,"
"Things I like?"
"Yeah, the ones I said earlier,"
"Oh yeah,"
Why am I so oblivious.
"O-of course, what about like hobbies and stuff,"
"I like playing games!" She answered excitingly,
"What kind of games?"
"PC games of course!"
"Oh, you wanna try and play sometime?"
"Hmmm, I don't know, you might be too weak," she said.
"We'll see," I said as we both started laughing.
Things are starting to work out pretty good that it started to get dark,
"Oh, it's getting pretty late," I said
"Oh, right,"
"Want me to walk you home?"
"Oh, um, if it's okay with you,"
"Well, I already asked you,"
"Let's go then!"
As we walk together we kept talking,
I kinda feel like, we're having a date,
Or that maybe I've met her before this,

We finally arrive at her place,
"Well, today was pretty fun," she said.
" It sure is,"
"Do you want to meet up again?"
"Oh no, I can't, It's Monday tomorrow,"
"Right,"
"You can have my number," she said.
"Oh, cool, I'll text you as soon as I got home,"
Wow, that's cringe.
"Okay, till next time Ben," she said.
" Yep, maybe next time I'm the one who's gonna ask first,"
We both laugh until he went inside her house.
What a nice day this was
I hope it's like this every day

As I got home, I immediately went to bed and slept.
*Alarm rings*
"Hits snooze button"
Falls back to sleep again.

"I guess that's enough sleep!" I said as I got out of bed only to see that...
Somehow, it's 7:30 in the morning.
I panic and start to rush off to school after a quick shower and getting dressed.
I ran and ran and ran...
Until I stop being too exhausted.
*Heavy breathing*
"Where am I now?" I ask myself.
I look around to see my house just a block away.
As soon as I realized this, I instead walked slowly to school.
I passed by a bakery, seems like they're just opening.
I haven't had breakfast so I'll get some bread to go.

As I got the bread, I got going.
"That's the first time I see them open actually," I said as I look at the bakery.

I finally get to school, ate all the bread so the guard wouldn't call me out on it.
"Late huh?" The guard said.
"It's my first time being late anyway," I said.
"Yeah but, aren't you guys having exams today?"
Oh. Crap.
"You better get going," the guard said, opening the gate.
I immediately sprint through the ground and find the closest way to my room.
Only to get tired halfway there.
..
I still rushed to get to class,
And when I got there, they were done with the first subject.
"Can I still join?" I asked after opening the door.
"You are?" The teacher asked, visibly confused.
I also get confused because I don't know any person there.
"Crap, wrong room," I whispered.
"Oh, sorry ma'am,"
"Since you're here already just sit down in this class," the teacher said.
"I'll just ask in the faculty which class you're in,"
Woah, really?
"Thank you, ma'am," I said.
"Now sit down Ben," she said.
Huh? How do you?..
But she wasn't wearing glasses yesterday.
