Chapter 2

Alex's POV

I was still lost thinking about that guy. It's quite strange, I mean he was not looking like someone with many problem physically or mentally. But still I can't reach any end just by his face. After a few minutes the head finally approached me.

" I am so sorry for having you wait so long Doctor Mathews, I was having a patient to deal with" he said bowing to me.

" Oh no sir, don't do this. Our patients are a priority, I understand" I said trying to make him face me again, I mean he is quite aged it's disrespectful to let him now to me.

" Well then, I welcome you here Doctor Alex Mathews, I am the head here my name is Lee Yoshiro" he said forwarding his hand for a handshake, " it will be pleasure having you here, I have heard a lot about you"

" Oh please, the pleasure is all mine and I look forward to working here myself " I said and let go of the handshake.

Doctor Lee then started showing me around, " So what do think of the place till yet" he said while I was walking next to him.

" Hmm I think this place is quite good, i like your idea of using token economy here, but" I paused and he looked at me," I saw a nurse behaving quite harshly earlier yet again I can't judge all the nurse to be like her." I said

" Is that so?" He said continuing to walk in a room, " may I know how she looked?" And I told him that she accompanied Lara, " ahh I get it, please don't stress yourself anymore about her, I must have words with her, we don't appreciate such things here too."

" That's so kind of you Sir" I said impressed, but what about that guy should I ask about him.

" By the way Doctor, this is gonna be your Room from now on, you can bring in patients and even some of your personal one as I heard you do counselling and lectures in school, but do inform me beforehand, and is there anything you wish to know?" He said while implying me to sit on the chair behind the table while he was standing.

" Actually yes sir, there was this patient I saw in the hall, he was with grey eyes and grey hair and I don't know why but he intrigued me quite a bit." I asked him. He just sighed and sat down in front of me and motioned me to sit as well.

" Well it gonna take a bit time," he said with a sad expression , " His name is Regan, Regan Novels. He was the son of a big businessman, but suddenly after his father's death, he got delusion of persecution and was taken to mental hospital, there patients were not treated very well and same was with him, " I was feeling like I will cry any moment, " after a lot of torture his condition got worse, and he became silent, when the government found out about that hospital, the place was closed due to their behaving with almost every patients and he was transferred here. He doesn't talk to anyone but even I think he has a whole story behind those eyes still he is not speaking because he has lost trust." Doctor Lee completed.

" If we can bring him to speak his feelings or thoughts, maybe we can help him" The doctor nodded, " Alright sir, can I handle his case then" I asked. Doctor Lee was shocked but he accepted.

" Then I will leave him in your cares Doctor Mathews" he said, " I put my hopes in you"

" Sir his case is different," I said, " is it possible for me to take him to my place for some therapies"

Doctor Lee looked unsure of it but since it was for good he accepted, " are you sure? Is it safe you doctor?" He asked me

" Don't worry, he doesn't seem like he will hurt me" I said and after a few minutes doctor Lee left saying he will send me with someone to meet Regan and sign some documents about him leaving with me.

' what are you hiding Regan?'
