Chapter-14

Alex's POV

Dropping Regan, I and Doctor Lee drove to his own lab, it was a few minutes drive and all along my mind prayed god that Regan is okay back at home and in all mind and body too.

" Doctor Mathews, let's get started with the work" I nodded to him taking out the reports we got with the help of Chris.

Doctor Lee was working on the Brain x-ray while I was dealing with the blood reports and blood sampling.

After a good amount five hours, it was dark outside and it seemed like it was about to rain,

"Impossible" doctor Lee's surprised voice reached me. Finally, the moment has come, I was done with the blood sample test and I have redone it several times to make sure I was not wrong or inaccurate at any point.

I turned to where Doctor Lee was, having two x-rays on the light panel, one of Regan another of a normal human, " I am also done with the blood sample test and I have re-checked it several times now and..." I stopped making him to look at my face.

" The results are as expected aren't they doctor Mathews?" It was more of a statement than a question as he took off his glasses.

"Yes they are all the same, saying the same too", I said while he rested his forehead on his palm, " How did we all missed this, how is this possible when last time the rest was done it was different."

" All the test says that the level of Dopamine is perfectly fine, anti-psychotic I gave him there are compositions of them in his blood, which explains the unusual headache and the behavior since this morning. ", I said handing him the reports I made.

He held the reports and turned to the x-rays," This is Regan's" he said pointing to the right now then pointed to the left one, " and this is of a normal healthy human "

I looked at the them finding not much difference as expected," there are no difference in ventricles " I stated my opinion.

"Yes exactly, the ventricles are more in a schizophrenic person's brain but his are perfectly normal, the frontal and temporal lobe of the cerebral cortex is also completely normal, no decrease in number of tissues, no thin lobe nothing, all of it signifying one thing that Regan " he took a breath and continued, " is not schizophrenic, not even a bit "

I remained silent not knowing how to respond on this.

Doctor Lee stood up from his seat, " the mystery still being those reports from before, why did they show that he has delusion of Persecution, I must find out there must be something in the hospital, Doctor Mathews you reach Regan as soon as possible I will go to check myself and report you"

I nodded and we both again headed out to our destination. All the way driving many thoughts keep playing in my head

" Everything......every question......one person can answer...only one" I said with the images of Regan coming into my mind.
