24. Extra 2 - Childfree Marriage?

"Childfree Marriage?" Anin jumped in surprise when Tandrie's voice greeted her ear softly. For a moment the hair on Anin's neck stood up because Tandrie spoke right in Anin's ear.

Giving up recommending his writing, Anin turned the chair and faced Tandrie, "Hmm ... that's a pretty popular thought lately. This is the article that must be submitted today."

"Oh, apart from the demands of the company's content, what about you, Nin, regarding the idea of a child-free marriage?"

"What is it, ehmm... because I am a Muslim using the basis of Islamic law, okay? I am against it."

Anin didn't actually plan that she and Tandrie would talk on a topic that had to be addressed intelligently, not emotionally. Whether we realize it or not, the agreement on freedom of expression makes people tend to be reactive in expressing what is on their mind. Even if there are those who are argumentative in depth, it is only a minority.
