“So they weren't goddesses? They were just women who were wronged?” Ava asked softly, “Everything that we've been taught in our history has been a lie?”

Rodna shook her head, “No. Not all of it. We do know that there has been a war and there was a leader named Paige. She wasn't exactly a goddess but to us she is. She led us out of a terrible place.”

“But this doesn’t change anything, “Bellona said as she addressed the girls,” The wall is still our home. We still have to go back and protect it.”

Ava's hand shot up, “I have a question. I'm starting to work something out.”

“Okay, spit it out.”

“If we do go back into the wall and we help our sisters. What do we tell them? I mean, do we tell them about the men outside here? And if we tell them, will they want us to bring down the wall?”
