Three weirdos

"hello there little brother, could you tell us if there are any dual element cultivators participating in the entrance examination?"

Fang Qiu stared at the girl with pity as if she was retarded. "If she wanted to find dual element cultivators why not ask the sect elders present. How would he know where to find other dual element cultivators. Let alone, the odds there were others besides him were slim.

Dual element cultivators were way too rare after all so even in the entire kingdom there might only barely be one or two. And why was she even looking for dual element cultivators? These three didn't seem like sect elders." Many questions coursed through his mind while the look of pity on his face only grew.

Was she an airhead? There was a dual element cultivator right in front of her yet she asked if there were any present today.

Thinking this far Fang Qiu suddenly came to a realisation. He couldn't tell the elements of the two people in front of him at all. Usually you can easily tell by their auras what type of elemental cultivator a person is. So not being able to discern it means they have awakened a special element or a combination of two like Fang Qiu.

All of these thoughts went through Fang Qiu's head in less than a second after which he responded to the girl "I honestly have no idea, how would I know where to find a dual element user when there might not even be one in the entire country?"

She looked at him full of confidence and responded "you seemed interesting having only one arm and standing in the recruitment square yet not joining any sects. I figured you might know where to find one." She responded casually as if it was the most normal matter in the world.

"What does losing an arm have to do with knowing people that are dual element cultivators? Nothing this girl says adds up" Fang Qiu got even more confused than before by these three people.

One had a screw loose and seemed like a total airhead. The second was looking at his food non stop as if contemplating whether to steal it and the third, well he wasn't really looking anywhere... literally.

The third person was blindfolded, the blindfold obviously being his core spirit. So Fang Qiu assumed the man was blind. From the aura he seemed like an earth cultivator and looking at the hulking body like a mountain...he certainly was an earth type cultivator. Though the blindfold was a rather unique spirit in Fang Qiu's opinion. The girl's core spirit seemed more normal being a golden colored cat and the fatty...wait! The fatty had no core spirit?? But he had elemental powers, Fang Qiu just couldn't place the element's aura but he definitely was a cultivator. So how could he not have a core spirit?

The others, or rather two out of the three noticed Fang Qiu's gaze and were sizing him up at the same time aswell. The third had turned around god knows when and was now facing the wrong way without realising it.

Then suddenly the fatty cried out "I get it now! With Meimei's luck, how could she not know where a dual elemental cultivator is. After all, she is a luck element cultivator. This means that the kid in front of us must be the dual element cultivator we are looking for! It wouldn't be a surprise considering how downright cheaty meimei's luck is, instantly finding the person by approaching any random cultivator in this plaza."

The fatty didn't try to hide his words so Fang Qiu clearly heard everything. Only, why were they looking for a dual element cultivator? Dual cultivators were rare but not insanely so for empire level powers. And these weird individuals definitely didn't seem like locals from this kingdom. Deciding to be careful Fang Qiu responded

"What if I am, what if I'm not?"

This time it was the blind man's turn to respond.

"Master needs his disciples to be able to form a full team, But master has a rule. The disciple has to be unique and has to be more unique than the last" The man responded...facing the wrong direction.

"All of them are crazy, every. Single. One. The first is an airhead, the second is coveting his food and doesn't have a core spirit and the last one is downright blind.." Who had ever heard of a blind cultivator? At least Fang Qiu hadn't.

After calming down he responded "so your so called master needs a dual element cultivator as a disciple?"

This time the fatty responded again "I will give you us as an example. Master's first disciple is su Meimei" pointing at her he continued "she is a luck cultivator with a lucky cat as core spirit. It is ranked seven hundred seventy-seventh on the universal spirit ranking. It might be the only one of its kind in this world." At this point Fang Qiu was already amazed but the fatty continued

"then there's blind Ye, master's second disciple. Following his rule he is even more special than mei'er. He is an earth type cultivator with a heavenly constitution called mirror battle body. Heavenly constitutions are so rare that the last known one in this world appeared over three hundred years ago!" The fatty said whilst readjusting blind Ye's facing direction.

At this point Fang Qiu's worldview was shattered. These kinds of monsters want me as their junior brother? In what way am I more crazy than this bunch? Is a love for eating that rare in this world?

Yet the fatty once again continued before Fang Qiu could ask questions.

" and then there's me. Fatty Zhang. Master's third disciple. My ability is being the greatest seducer in all..."

Suddenly seeing a cute dainty fist enlarging in his vision Fatty Zhang immediately shut up after which Su Meimei continued: "don't mind him he's crazy"

"YOU'RE ALL CRAZY!!" Fang Qiu screamed internally but she continued "Fatty Zhang is master's third disciple and he has an internal core spirit. This is just as rare as a dual element cultivator since this means his spirit remains within the body. Hence why you can't see or sense a core spirit on him. But this alone would not even be enough to beat me, let alone beating blind Ye in rarity."

Fang Qiu couldn't stop his curiosity so he asked "then what makes him more special than the two of you. And what makes you think that a dual cultivator would be able to become your master's fourth disciple with you three being such monsters?"

"Well actually, I have a core spirit called soul eye. Hence why my one eye is grey. That's my core spirit. I am a ghost element cultivator and my soul eye is ranked number thirty five on the universal spirit rankings. It is also one of the spirits that can evolve into one of the ten great core spirits." Fatty Zhang replied.

"And to respond to your second question. We don't know either. It's already rare for someone like me to exist in this lower world let alone finding someone even more unique. But master said that there would be a dual element cultivator here that would be more unique than us three thus qualifying to be his fourth and last disciple....which is you, am I right?
