(A/N: i choose to let our mc join the roger pirate to because i dont have anymore ideas on how to keep the story going so bear with timeskips)
(I choose to give our mc's mentor a name because always calling it mentor is troublesome. Jared is also a admiral strength swordsman)
------------------------------1 Year Later------------------------------
"Take this 'the almighty Void dragon'" i said while controling my devil fruit and shaping a eastern dragong with height of 10 meters.
"Thats not gonna work" he said while slashing his sword with haki and a flame like intent which deflect my attack.
"Im not done yet ' Void Technique: Dark slash'" i attack again but now with my sword.
"You're strong now but not enough to defeat me! 'Flame Technique: Nirvana'" he sent fight back with his own technique which easily broke mine.
This fight continue for 2 hours of exchanging blows which jared has the upper hand until im finally finally tired which jared took advantage using surprise attack and end with my lost.
*hah* *hah* *hah*
"I still lost, but i'm getting closer i knew it"
"Yes you are young master , you can toe to toe to me even if im only using vice admiral strength, it's still amazing for a rear admiral powerhouse" yeah im currently as strong as a rear admiral in strength but with my abilities fighting toe to toe to a vice admiral is possible. All i needed now is battle experience.
And about my crew, we are all now friends and they also didn't slack on their training now we are training on a gravity island but im gonna leave them here because i plan to sail to practice and also get battle experience and i have think what Pirate group im joining, that is Roger Pirate. I also got my permission to my gramps, at first he didn't agree but seeing how persistent i am and how strong i am now, he agree.
So i will sail in three days and try finding roger pirate which will not gonna be hard because i can just ask the sea where they are now.

Im all set for my journey im gonna ride a cargo ship because sailing with a boat is a suicide. I already said my plan and goodbye to my friends, at first they were want to come but i have convince them that i needed to go to become stronger and for experience to which they agree and promise to me that when i come back they will be more stronger than ever.
"Goodbye guys let's meet again in 6 years so get stronger by then!" I teased them with a smug face to which they shrugged it off and said their goodbyes
"Yea we will be so strong then we will wipe of that smug to the mud" said alfred and followed by the other members while.
"Be careful out there Cross!" Said Anne while sobbing. Hays i knew she has a crush on me and i also has a feeling for her but i needed to do this, damn it let's stop this drama or else i might regret this.
"Yeah i will comeback safe and clean!" I yell at her while wearing a big wonderful smile on my face.
------------------------------2 Weeks Later------------------------------
Sailing is really boring i mean it, i dont have anything to do but practise but finally after 2 Weeks of sailing we were finally on my destination, the baldimore island its just like other island except for their rum. The ocean said to me that Roger and his crew will pass by in this island to buy supplies especially rum.
And finally after 2 days roger really pass by, after docking. They directly go to the bar to party, now i knew where shanks got his party lover personality. Looks like shanks and buggy hasn't join them yet hehe. I also follow them to the bar. After entering i challenge roger into a fight.
"Hey you're gold roger right?" I ask him with a not so sure look, hehe good thing i good at acting so it felt natural.
He look at me amusingly then laugh and said.
"Yeah boi i am Gold Roger, what are you scare? HAAHAHAHAH" he says and laugh thinking i was gonna be scare but.
"FIGHT ME!" Instead of a being scared i look at him with determination and bravery.
He was stunned for a second then quickly come back to normal.
"Hahhaha you fight me? Your still to young boi." He said which pissed me off especially when he called he kid.

Because of what he said i attack him with a sword ( no this is not the sword that i he will use but just a good quality knife , he also doesn't bring the pistol.) to which surprise him because he sense that im already at a realm of swordsman which is very surprising indeed. But he quickly come back to normal and block my sword with his.
"that's really a surprise but still not enough." he then add more force in his sword sending me 30 meters away.
but im not reconcile and stand up again and use my strongest sword technique.
"Dark technique: extinguished." i send him a Dark like Slash that turned everything it ran into a dust.
but instead of dodging Roger fight it heads on with his on technique that easily deflect my proudest move and he rush at me and slash his sword with haki which send me flying 50 meter away and injure me( just imagine when mihawk slash zoro)
all i hear after being unconscious is
"that's a nice technique boi HAHAHAHA" Then he shouted at one of his crew member "crocus can you healed him up, he was an interesting guy after all HAHAHAHA"

"AH where i am!" i yelled looking at around, i am in a room now with a bandage all over my body. after looking around for a while i get up and tried feeling my wound which suprisingly healed up already.
*clank*
crocus walk inside the room and check my injury.
"your body is truly amazing boi, it already healed up your wound. you just need to rest and captain said he want to talk to you." he said then we leave the room and walk toward Roger's Ship, the Oro Jackson. After boarding the ship all the other members are looking at me with a smile. after a while we finally reached roger.
"what is it that you want to tell me Roger-san?" i ask him with a confused look
"before i say i wanna ask you, what's your name ,age and reason to challenge me?" he ask
"I am Cross D. Heracles ,10 years old and i challenge you because your a pirate!" i answer with a yell
"do you hate pirates boi Cross?" he was stunned me having a D. in my name and how young i was but still ask.
"No its because your one of the strongest pirate there is so i needed to beat you to become pirate king!" i yelled again.
he was stunned by my answer and then laugh
"then where is your crew young cross?" he ask amusingly because he already knew the answer.
"i dont have one yet but when i beat you im gonna find one" i answer with confidence.
"oh and how will you beat me if your much weaker than me?" he ask with a big smile.
"i-i dont know" i ask embarrassed
"then how about you join my pirate group first ,become an intern in Roger's pirate." he ask me while smiling even wider.
"can i atleast became a regular member?" i ask not wanting to be an intern.
"nope your still too young Cross, so what you think?" he patted me waiting for my answer.
"t-then im in your care c-captain!" i yelled the captain part with embarrassment which makes all the roger's pirate member laugh
"HAHAHAHHA" "HAHAHHAHA" "HAHAHAHHA" "HAHAHAHHA"
