Supermarket Love

"So, what do you want to buy, Mr. Leo? You are busy following me without buying anything you said before."

Felia looked confusedly at Leo who was currently beside her, still faithfully following. From the start, they entered the supermarket, and only she chose fresh ingredients like meat, but the man stayed beside her without complaining.

Leo turned his gaze to Felia, the woman raised her eyebrows in confusion. "Yes, take a walk first, for nothing is interesting to buy," he said only in simple sentences because what he said earlier was just a supporting sentence to get Felia to let him go shopping.

"But--"

"What do you choose? why not just take the salmon?"

Felia's unfinished words left her mouth interrupted by Leo, the man who held her hand that wanted to take fresh fish, which for some reason he didn't know what kind.

"Why, sir? Salmon is expensive, I can't afford it," said Felia, who had never lied to herself or anyone else that she was a woman who was indeed less capable.

Felia looked at the still very handsome face, giving her a warm smile.

"What's the point of having Leo here?" Leo asked as he raised and lowered his eyebrows, his handsome face looking sexy. Hey, Felia isn't the hypocritical type but that's the truth that Leo is so handsome.

"I don't know, you might be bored and choose to accompany me and talk about--"

"No, the function of having Leo beside you is to pay for all your purchases," said Leo who again cut off Felia's words. He reached out for the fish in Felia's shopping cart bag, exchanging it for the predictable salmon.

Felia shook her head, she felt bad because every time she met Leo, he would always spend a lot of money on her. Though they are not close but Leo is very generous with other people, does Leo deserve credit as someone who doesn't mind spending money on random things at all?

Yes, it looks like it's worth it.

"No need, sir. You're exaggerating and spending too much money on someone you don't know," said Felia, putting the salmon back in its place. She looked at Leo as if she couldn't believe his actions.

Leo chuckled at Felia's words which he thought was the true meaning of exaggeration, he had already said that money wasn't everything. "Then let me carry your shopping cart." Without the consent of the woman who was now beside him, he immediately slung the shopping basket into his sturdy arms.

A masculine man when he wants to be invited to the supermarket and accompany women shopping must look very sweet.

Felia almost shouted with a loud 'hey' if only the place she stepped on wasn't a public place. "What are you doing, Mr. Leo? This is so annoying," she said with a frown. Not wanting to fight back let alone force the shopping basket back into her hands, she chose to remain silent while exhaling.

'Why can Ica fall in love with a man like this?' she asked herself, confused.

Leo just shrugged nonchalantly, not caring about Felia's current thoughts. From Bara's story about a woman who seems to rarely eat on time, he has the idea that Felia can taste the deliciousness of salmon, there is no match.

Felia saw Leo who took the salmon and put it back into the shopping cart, she didn't know whether to be grateful or feel burdened if one day the man charged her. No, do not. "It's okay, sir. Besides, I just want a snack to watch television, there's no need to buy all that," she said, refusing.

"No refusals, and then I'd like to stop by your house. We'll watch television together later, I think it'll count as entertainment because starting tomorrow I'll be back at work."

"No sir, there's no need. I've never brought anyone home, let alone a man."

"Why? I'll cook a menu for dinner tonight for us, how about that? Doesn't that sound normal?"

If only other women were in Felia's position, they would agree and open the door wide for the arrival of the ideal man. But unlike Felia, she just found it strange that no one had visited her except Azrell and her family.

"How many times do I have to refuse your every wish that goes against mine, sir?"

"Zero times, maybe? I just made a small request, is that wrong?"

"No sir, my taste is very different from yours. And you don't know anything about the simplicity of my life because you are too perfect for an unseen woman like me,"

Felia's shoulders slumped. Her breath caught in her throat too, even the words that should have been said over and over again started to catch on the tip of her throat. The two beautiful sea blue eyes began to look sad, feeling the reality that always slapped her day.

Hearing that, Leo of course immediately smiled faintly. Placed the shopping basket on the floor, then looked at Felia gently.

"Then, teach me about your modesty," Leo answered in a low volume baritone voice, combined with a smile.

Good looking, good attitude too. Leo is a man who is perfect when viewed from any angle.

Felia blinked, not expecting Leo to say that.

Blinking her eyes, it was better for Felia to return to reality before many people noticed their movements. "Well, I'd better have to pay for all my groceries," she said, grabbing the handle of the grocery cart that supermarkets always provide and walking to the cashier to line up with the others.

While Leo who saw that just shook his head, for some reason instead of feeling indifferent to Felia, it made him even more curious.

Especially seeing the sad look on the woman's face, he wanted to hug that tiny body.

He immediately stepped foot, to be closer to Felia and of course, immediately became the center of attention of the women who were queuing even many who stole glances at him.

"Eh? There's Mr. Leo!" Starting from the screams of the woman carrying a shopping trolley, you can be sure she is shopping monthly. From that scream, more and more eyes were watching him.

Felia lowered her head in shame, she was the only woman currently right beside Leo's body without moving and showing an exaggerated response. "Sir, you'd better wait in the car," she muttered too lowly because she didn't want anyone else to hear their conversation.

As for Leo? Of course, the man looks normal because being the center of attention has been attached to him for a long time. "No, I want to bring your groceries," he said as he reached into the wallet that was in his trouser pocket, he took the ATM card and forced Felia to grip the thin flat object tightly.

"Mr. Leo's new girlfriend, huh? Gosh, she's so pretty."

"Have you changed partners again? Where's Azrell? Looks like she lost far with the woman who is currently with Leo."

"Ah, yesterday's woman liked to show her body too much, but this one looks adorable."

"Hoodies and hotpants huh? Cute style, like tomorrow I will try to apply that style."

Felia blinked her eyes when she heard a positive response from the people. She thought she would be stabbed to death with a bad word because her current appearance was not very good, unlike ordinary women who like to wear dresses and other feminine clothes.

"Are they praising me?" she asked Leo, still turning the volume down.

Leo nodded his head, confirming Felia's question, who seemed moved? maybe. "Of course, just watch tomorrow the trend of hoodies with hotpants will booming because of you," he said explaining the truth.

In the past, when with Azrell the women were also interested in the style that his ex-lover had. That's normal because fashion can change at any time.

"How did that happen, sir? Isn't my appearance very... Uhm surely you've judged it from the start, right?"

Felia likes to overthink about her appearance, even though it's not necessarily what she thinks of herself as true.

Overthinking only leads humans to black holes of darkness, like the ones in the universe. Anxiety without end, making lumps that harm the mind.

"You're adorable, they compliment you based on facts," Leo said slowly. He looked at Felia with a twinkle in his eye. It's a flirty base, lucky his face is very supportive.

blush

Felia's cheeks seemed to have a clear red blush, then immediately looked confused --didn't know how to reply to Leo's words with words like--. "Ah, I better keep waiting," she said, turning away from facing Leo. That is, the man saw a blush on her cheeks.

"Well, I'll wait in the car, how about that?" Leo asked as he approached Felia again. Even though it's only been two days, it feels like he already knows the nature of women so simply.

Felia turned her head, then put on a confused face. "Then? I don't know your ATM password, how can I pay at the cashier later?" She asked. However, she had no other choice but to accept Leo's offer to pay for her shopping with the man's money. It was nothing, she only brought a few dollars and Leo added groceries which wasn't even enough when she paid for it with her money.

Patting his forehead, Leo almost forgot about it. "Then I will stay by your side," he says. He began to stand up straight, like a bodyguard guarding her master.

"Mr. Leo?"

"Yes, what's up?"

"Thank you so much for being so nice to me, I don't know what to say. But you are a wonderful, selfless man, thank you so much again."
