27| Dion's Murder

It was three in the afternoon. Xena had been waiting for Vrans for two hours, but to no avail, the man didn't come. She hadn't even touched the food Dion had cooked for her and Vrans that she had been raising from earlier.

Xena already said that she wouldn't eat without Vrans! Let her appear to have a childish nature, rather than having to be polite and neat but not her trademark.

Dion, who had been sitting in front of Xena --because the girl told him to wait for Vrans to return-- looked at her with a pity expression on his face. He knew that hid young master's lover must be very hungry, and the girl instead preferred to wait for Vrans to return with a confused expression on her face.

"Just eat, Miss. The food must be cold," said Dion who suggested.

Xena shook her head weakly, still holding on to her stance. "Where is Vrans, Dion? Why isn't he home? The food is getting cold." She said tiredly, exhaling her breath.
