Ian was once again surprised at the speed of his partner, who had already approached the shaman and his guards, unfortunately the shaman was much more attentive than his guards and noticed Elim. The crystal on the top of the staff shone and fireballs began to appear over the shaman, and after a moment they flew towards the approaching person. Elim, expecting something like this, easily dodged, but the closer he got, the more difficult it was to dodge attacks.

The guards who had previously stood in a stupor drew their weapons and moved towards Elim, to whom Ian had already arrived. So, the battle was divided into two: Yang against the goblin guards and Elim against the shaman. The kobolds, who noticed the change in the balance of forces, rushed into a furious counterattack, until the goblin shaman can join the battle, they have a chance to get out of here. A flurry of spells fell on the goblins and the first losses appeared on their part, the kobold mages spared no effort and killed several opponents at once. Seeing such desperate resistance, the goblins hesitated, but the commanders of their number did not succumb to panic from the powerful rebuff of the kobolds and sent their subordinates into a new attack.

One of them turned around, intending to ask the shaman for help and froze in a daze: 2 unknown people attacked their leader and did not just attack - the shaman of their tribe was retreating!

Elim, after meeting with the kobold mage, collected all the small weapons that their opponents used, killed by them on the way here. And now, dodging the shaman's attacks, from time to time he threw something sharp at him. The weapon was made extremely crudely and ineptly, but even so Elim managed to hit the shaman 2 times. Goblin shamans focused their attention on long-range attack magic and, unlike the goblin commander, had a body that was only slightly stronger than the body of an ordinary goblin, so even 2 attacks of Elim were quite a tangible blow for the shaman.

Away from them, Yan, covered in stone armor, fought two goblins guards, not doing so well for him. The two goblin guards, although they were clearly weaker than the two-meter Ian, had much more combat experience than he. There were traces of cuts on the guy's armor, some of them pierced it completely and caused minor damage to Yang himself. Jan did not remain in debt and fresh wounds were visible on the bodies of both of his opponents, so they had a draw so far.

But the battle between goblins and kobolds was far from so calm and turned into a real meat grinder. The kobolds, realizing that this was their last chance to survive, desperately tried to break through the encirclement and escape into the tunnels. The losses on both sides were already quite significant and continued to grow. The goblins wanted to help their commander, but the kobolds attacked so fiercely that they could not send someone strong to help.

The shaman, seeing this state of affairs, began to worry, not only did this strange, powerful enemy appear out of nowhere, but also the kobolds began a furious attack. He was distracted from his thoughts by a dagger flying near his head, an angry shaman sent a new batch of fireballs at the enemy, but none of them reached their goal. Elim was spinning as if in a frying pan, dodging enemy attacks and trying to close the distance between them, simultaneously throwing captured weapons at him.

Elim could maintain such a pace of battle for a long time, because he did not use mana to dodge, but the shaman, like any magician, did not want to drag out the battle, especially given the deplorable situation with the kobolds. The shaman stopped and stopped pouring fire on Elim, intending to finish it off with one blow. The crystal in his staff began to glow brightly and Elim realized what would happen and decided to take advantage of it. He did not rush at the shaman, but moved away from him, the shaman considered that his opponent was trying to escape into the tunnel and, issuing a jubilant cry, created a wave of fire, which moved towards the man with terrifying speed.

A malevolent grin appeared on his face as he saw a wave of fire. Using his mana to haste, Elim was able to dodge the attack, only slightly singeing his hair, and then lunged in the direction of the stunned shaman.

At this time, the wave, without stopping, moved directly into the back of the unsuspecting goblins, and a moment later the plaintive cries of the monsters engulfed in fire spread through the dungeon.

Seeing this result of his actions, the shaman was horrified, and a second later, rage rolled over him - he summoned new balls of fire to attack. Elim was already close to the shaman when he launched a new attack and a moment later pierced him with his sword, after which the fireballs summoned by the shaman and flying in his direction began to disappear, only one managed to reach him. The fireball slammed into Elim's shoulder, who immediately kicked off his burning tunic, exposing his burned shoulder.

After that, he began to look for his friend and after a moment he noticed him knocking out the spirit from the goblin guard lying on the ground, and his second opponent was lying on the ground nearby, with a knife sticking out of his eye. Elim saw no serious injuries on his friend's body, after which he called out to him and pointed in the direction of the remnants of the fighting kobolds and goblins. There were no more than a dozen of them left, all wounded and exhausted, but neither Elim nor Yan fled headlong into battle, because the survivors were the strongest of those who began the battle.

Having picked up a convenient moment, the guys together eliminated the strongest of them, after which they took up their weaker relatives. Having finished off the last goblin, Ian wearily flopped to the ground near the place of the carnage.

- Are you okay? Are there any serious injuries? Elim asked his friend.

Ian's clothes were tattered with numerous cuts, goblin guards struck countless blows trying to pierce his armor, but only in a couple of places could blood be seen.

- Yes, okay, now I am also level 2, - said smiling Jan, after which his gaze fell on Elim's shoulder and he changed in his face, - and how are you? Your shoulder is badly burned.

Elim looked at the damage assessingly, then said:

- I think the 2nd degree burn is nonsense, with mana in the body, I don't think there will be any problems in the treatment of this.

Mana could really help in recovery, even without the knowledge of the person, she helped heal wounds, and with the appropriate skills, it could be regenerated in a matter of minutes.

Okay, we'll chat later, now we need to collect all the trophies: look for skill books, metal weapons or armor with a green tint, like my sword, - Elim demonstrated the blade of his sword for clarity.

After that, the guys dispersed across the battlefield in search of trophies. Elim immediately went to the shaman's corpse and took his staff, tore a fire crystal from an old piece of wood. Such crystals were of different types: fire, water, earth, etc. In fact, they were energy converters, for example, if a magician could create 4 fireballs at a time, then with the help of a fire crystal that will help convert mana, the magician can create 5 or even more. The skill book [Fireball] was also next to the shaman, which immediately went to his backpack.

After a few minutes of prowling, their production grew rapidly: they already had 3 skill books and a bunch of metal in their hands, from which Elim planned to make weapons for himself and Yana.

When they almost finished looting in one of the tunnels there was a roar and an unknown monster came out of it, attracted by the sounds of the battle that had recently ended.
