Chapter 8 "I got appointed!"

Several months passed by and Tessa was finally back to her normal life , she buried all the events at the corner of her heart and decided to move on, she quitted the laundry job, she thought of looking for a proper job this time, since she has her academic certificates, she hoped to get one soon so as to pay for daily expenses.

She took her princess to the bus station to go to schoolas usual and Sarah went to her workplace, she was all alone in the house bored. "Man!! what should I do?.... whaaaaaaat!" *ding* something flashed into her head "Should I clean my house? .... mhhh yes sounds smart" Se started with kitchen and moved to the living room, she went upstairs and cleaned the two vacant rooms, they had three rooms but loved to shares one room together and the bed was allowing them to , it was big enough, she finally moved the last room which was their own, she arranged her things , folded clothes, and now she was going through her bags , "Oh I wore this the day mother died" she said in a sad tone , she opened it and took out some cards , she dropped one to the floor, she knelt to pick it up "What is this? ...I still have it?" she chuckled shocking his head "How's that rude handsome doing?" she read the card "Mmm, JJB'Corporation, does he work their? should I apply too?" she rubbed her eyes to what she saw next "Goodness!!!! he is a CEO of that corporation? Wow Tessa! just wow! you met with the man that most girls are dying to see live" she laughed and placed the card on the table , she finished her chores...♡

Milly came back home along with Sarah, she went to pick her up, the two big sisters were afraid since the kidnapping issue, they decided to be extra careful especially when it comes to thier princess. They awed to see the house very neat and the food was already served on the dining table, Sarah cleared her throat "Did our Tessa clean the house today? .... wow! it looks clean" Tessa chuckled "I was bored, and so yes! our Sarah " the trio laughed and settled down to eat.. Sarah was the first one to be full , she headed upstairs to change and rest, she placed her bag on the table, she creased and pick up a business card "JJB'Corporation? it's from a CEO? what is this?" she had tons of questions, she climbed downstairs "Tessa did someone have this? or you just picked it somewhere?" Tessa took a sip of juice "Aaah! that card it's a big story, I didn't throw it away yet I was thinking of applying there" Sarah came closer to her curious "Did he personally gave you this?" Sarah gave her a thumb up "Yes ! I just found out that it was from the most wanted bachelor in Seoul, I should thank my stars " she laughed ,Sarah's jaws dropped "You sure are lucky!! why don't you give it a shot?" Tessa poured her lips looking at Milly "Really!!? What if I don't get appointed?" Sarah held her hands "Listen Tessa...when life gives you opportunity you don't play with it, you grab it and make a best use out of it.... you should worry about getting appointed later for nkw just go for interview" Tessa look down to Milly who was not laying on her lap watching t.v "Should I do it princess?" she didn't look back at her and just talked "Yes Tess! try it , I'll pray for you to get appointed " she smiled "Geez! my family is so excited about this " Sarah turned to go back upstairs "Yes were are our Tessa " ....♡

On Monday morning Tessa finally agreed to apply for a job at JJB'Corporation, she went earlier and was awed to see such big building, her neck would almost crack from turning side to side "Wow!! this is huge one" she went straight to the reception desk, "Hello sir" said Tessa with a smile "Hello miss , how may I help you?" she show him an envelope that contains her certificates "I applied for job online two days ago and was told to come today for an interview " he gave it a quick look and handed back her envelope "Okay miss, Go to room no:11 at floor no:6 , the interview is being held there" she bowed "Thank you sir" she went to take an elevator and got off at six floor, she didn't actually know where the room was , she kept going around a circle, she finally thought of asking a man that was passing by "Hello sir , can you please direct me to room no eleven where the interview is held? you see I am new here" the man pointed his hand on his left "The 7 room to your left" Tessa bowed to show him gratitude "Thank you sir" she stood there watching the back of the man that helped her , and then turned to her left "Okay you got this" she walked with her eyes studying the doors number until she reached the exact room , she was relieved because her legs was killing her from roaming around to find it , "Wheeww!! finally!" she took out her handkerchief and freshen her face that had some lines of sweats and knocked the door , "Come on in" she heard a firm voice of a male ,she went in, it was a big room with three gentlemens sitting who were going through some documents on the table, and one chair at front which was possibly for interviewees, she bowed greeting the gentlemans "Good morning sir !" one man answered and the other two just nodded "Good morning, I assume you came for interview miss?" he asked , Tessa nodded "Yes sir" she said with a calm voice , the man gave a quick smile "You came just on time, that's a good impression on your first day" Tessa smiled back feeling glad for she came earlier than anyone, she will probably be the first one to be interviewed, although it gave her creep but she decided to keep her fear aside and just give her best at it, "Can you hand me your certificates?" Said the man at the middle , she walked to the table and gave her envelope to the man ,"You may go and sit" he said just after receiving the envelope, Tessa turned to go and sit

, her heart was pounding, she felt like her cheste would open soon and the heart would fall out, "No Tessa!! you got this , fighting!!!!" she mumbled encouraging her scaredy heart from embarrassing her....♡

The interview began and Tessa confidently answered all the questions that was thrown at her , she gave her all even she couldn't believe from where she got such energy, the interviewers were very satisfied for their faces were curved with smiles whenever she answered a question, Tessa was screaming in her to receive such impressions from the gentlemans, she thanked her lucky star for today ."That will all Miss Michael, it was nice to have you, we will keep in touch for further informations , for now you may go" said the middle man smiling from from ear to ear they were satisfied by her . "Thank you sir " she bowed and left the room, she leaned by the wall and took a deep breathe "Dear God ! now it's all up to you" she mumbled to her self, she stood up straight walking to the elevator so she could go home , she got in just when it was about to close , she saw a firm hand holding the door from closing , and swiftly entered , her jaws dropped to what she just encountered, it was that rude handsome she met with at hospital and at the Bar, she lowered her head down in panicking, Jordan was like a statue not flinching even an inch as he leaned back and his arms crossed on his chisel chest but was staring at her intensively, Tessa didn't understand why this man would always stare at her whenever they meet , she couldn't take it anymore and broke the silence "What is wrong with you huh!? I've been noticing you staring at me whenever we meet!" she paused as the man lowered his head low no word came out of his mouth , it was just curved onto a sly smile Tessa got pissed by his attitude and was about to raise his head by holding his chin up when suddenly the elevator shaken and she found herself in his embrace instead, her eyes widely open, they looked at each other for a minute "Let me go you womanizer!!" she yelled getting out of his grip, Jordan frowned "What did you call me?" he cocked his head to one side ,She freshen her outfits "No need to repeat myself, you play girls for money that's you!!" she turned her back at him her hair slightly slapped Jordan's face , he smiled , he just couldn't believe that he actually met with her but also she is talking absurd so carried along with teasing her "Oh yes! I do , do you have a price tag miss careless?" she hissed , she was boiling with anger, she turned and gave him a slap right through his face "You f#$&%g ass$#&l !!!, just because you saw me at the bar doesn't mean I sell my body, not every girl is cheap , not every girl will die to have your money , you fool!!" just then the elevator opened at the first floor and she got out , Jordan got out dumbfounded, he just couldn't believe what happened to him, nobody dared to yell at him this girl here just slapped him "Huh!! how dare she put her hand on my face?" he said as he was glaring at her sexy figure getting out if the building, he had a meeting at the first floor , so he headed there, Tessa got out hissing and cursing "Shit ! that jerk!! I hope he won't be a jinx to my appointment, he sucks!!" little did she know that she just slapped her boss to be , she walked to the bus station heading home....♡

Jordan finished with the meeting, he always loved the meetings to be short and clear, he had no time to hear blubbers he was too busy for it , so even his workers would do thier best to keep it short and clear, he was on his way to his office when he bumped onto a woman "Sorry sir!!" she bowed all worried, she was carrying some papers but they were all scattered to the floor, he knelt down helping her.to collect them, "What are these"? he was curious as he saw they had profile pictures at a side "Oh! they are the copies of the people that got employed from today's interview sir, I was on my way to hand them to you at your office sir but then..." she paused lowering her eyes down , she couldn't dare to look at him straight, Jordan walked closer and took the papers from her hands "I'm on my way there , I'll take them , just get back to your work" he said with an authoritative tone , then he walked away , she exhaled big time because she forgot to breathe for minute "Wow! I almost died but came back to earth again! did he pity me just now I can't believe it" she walked away pressing her cheste from the shock ....

He stopped by the 4th floor he had another meeting, once he entered the room the atmosphere changed , they all sat on their seats respectively and the meeting began , one of them stood at the front "So about our new program of online shopping.. 90% of people nowadays are using the online services in thier daily life, sir we can benefit a lot by this program " he paused, Jordan ran his finger on his chin "How" he uttered in a calm voice the man continued "Most of the customers using this program are busy people, they are willing to order something online their packages would reach them whenever they are at the exact time ordered, then to use their energy to follow it, they actually doesn't really consider the price of the product..." he continued and explained every detail about thier proposal to thier robotic boss that sat very composed and focused at him, after 20 minutes the presenter ended "That will all sir!" he stayed quiet for a while looking at his boss , Jordan started to clap for him , the fellow workers clapped too as if Jordan woke them up "Let's give it a shot then!" he uttered before leaving the meeting room, they were very pleased that thier proposal that they spent months to create has actually been approved in a blink by their serious boss " I'll treat everyone to lunch!" announced the leader of the group that had just presented they cheered and left the room together.....♡

The trio sat for a lunch at home but Tessa mood was a deal at the table , she had a smirk on her face all this time, Sarah rested her face on by her elbows "Our Tessa, how did it go today?" she rolled her mouth "Well the interview went well I am.just waiting for further information, actually it was all going Okay until I met with that unlucky jerk!" they both were curious to know who was that guy that got on Tessa's nerves "Who!" uttered Milly chewing gracefully like a big boss lady, Tesaa sighed and gulped some water "I don't know who he was , but he seemed rich from his attire , he keep annoying me whenever we meet" she shook away the thoughts, Sarah chuckled "Just let him go and just pray to get appointed instead " Tessa stuffed her mouth with food "I know right?" Milly patted her back with mocking face "I would like to meet that guy cos he released this rebellious Tessa from the underworld " the two laughed out loud, Tesa messed with her hairs "Your are not helping princess " , Milly always loved to tease her sister .....

Jordan threw the certificates on his glass table, one accidentally fell down , he hissed "Really now!! even the papers are tiring me up" he knelt down to pick it up , he pulled it closer to his eyes for he could not believe what he was seeing "Miss careless!!" he smiled slyly licking the edges of his teeth "Fate is cruel! what! a womanizer? I'll be that to you" he pulled out his phone and dialled the promotion officer "Yes sir how may I help you?" he cleared his throat "You've sent copies of new appointed workers at my office right?" he stayed quiet for a sec to confirm about it "Aaaam! Yes sir is there any problem " Jordan focused his eyes on the name "No , I would like you to appoint Miss Tessa Michael to be my secretary, she should report at work tomorrow" he ordered him , "Yes sir right away " Jordan hang up drawing an x sign with his finger as if he was plotting something freaky .....♡

"Hey girlfriend, your phone is ringing " said Sarah who was laying on the bed resting , Tessa grabbed a towel and got out of the toilet faster with her soap bubbles unwashed "Hello ! who is this?" her heart was beating rapidly she knew she would receive a call anytime from work "Are you Miss Michael ?" she wiped soap from her eyes it itching her "Yes i am", he cleared his throat "I am from JJB'Corporation where you came for an interview this morning.... I've called to inform you that you have been appointed as a secretary officer and you are supposed to report tomorrow and start to work " she was shocked and excited at same time that she fell her legs going numb , he mouth hanging open and eyes got bigger, Sarah couldn't let go of such memorable scene , she pulled her phone and clicked her some pictures, "Miss Michael are you there?" she gasped "Yes sir ! I mean thank you sir ! I'll be there first thing into he morning " then hang up surprised by the miss "I pity her if this is how dumb she is , she won't last a week under Mr. Brighton's realm" he shook his head and continued with his work, once the phone was hanged up , she jumped for happiness and Sarah joined her although she didn't actually know what was making Tessa so excited "Yes!! I should thank my lucky stars " Sarah held her hands jumping tiger with her "What's up?" , she laughed "I've got appointed!!" she forgot that she had unwashed bubbles all over her body and a short towel that covered her to her thighs and was absolutely ruining the floor , her towel fell down without her noticing, Sarah stopped jumping and covered her mouth staring at her insane friend who was clearly naked , Tessa stopped and followed Sarah's eyes and ended up seeing her naked body "Shoot!! Sarah you are such a.bad girl!!" she licked up the towel and ran to the washroom with one hand covering her front and the other one at her bums, Sarah busted into laughter, it wasn't her first time to see her naked but it was kind of funny to see her like that she just couldn't stop laughing...♡
