Chapter 21 "I like you my friend "

"Wait for me here, I'll be back in a jiffy" Tessa left Jordan outside the cafeteria dumbfounded, after a minute he received a text from her "What do you want to eat?" he was curious about her movements, he couldn't stop thinking of what she was up to, it wasn't a first time for her to leave him hanging on what she'll do next so he just carried on with her and trusted her. She received a text while she was inside the cafeteria "Spicy chicken wrap" (licking emoji), she was surprised that the boss ordered such cheap food for his status and all , but then she smiled and ordered for two parcels of spicy chicken wrap and two warm mango juices. She carried them out and found him standing where she left him, she smiled that once in a lifetime she out of all the people out there was able to stood his tycoon boss to wait for her, she couldn't stop screaming in her thoughts, "What now?" Jordan asked seeing her with the parcel in a plastic bag , instead of being worried like him she smiled mischievously "Follow me" she was so excited to see his curious face and to be able to order him around today, and Jordan like an obeying puppy kept following her words surprisingly he wasn't denying anything that she says.

He followed her to the stairs , he thought of why they didn't take the elevator but then his puzzled thoughts were fixed on his own , if they took the elevator then people would see them hanging together and start gossip nonsense about the two, but he still couldn't believe that Tessa made him climb the stairs till to the rooftop, she kicked the door with her leg "Ta da ! come on" she walked in , Jordan shook his head and mumbled "You could as well just told me to open for you, and what's so exciting anyway?" he went in too, Tessa took out a piece of cloth only god knows where she got it and when, placing it in the floor for them to seat, she took out the parcels and the juices "Come on sit! I deliberately choose a spot with no sun to bother us while were eating " she giggled. Jordan was taken back but also impressed by the sudden surprise, he liked how her brain works so fast to change situations, and the fact he out of all the people to be sitting on a rooftop and eat was still making him shook his head, he sat down smiling "Wow friend, a picnic on the rooftop? hats off to you" he clapped for her, she threw her hairs down her shoulders and rolled her eyes bragging "I know right", he forgot to breathe for a second and mumbled "Too cute " .....♡

Tessa who was so busy serving the food lifted her head up "What is?" Jordan looked down to the food "This all is .... cute" saying this he lifted his head at her , he said the last one with extra force only if she knew she was the 'cute' thing here in Jordan's thoughts. She smiled "Just say that your friend here is a genius " she gave him his parcel before Jordan could open it , she grabbed his hand making him stand up, "Come on!" he got up surprised once again and followed her lead , she opened a bottle of water that she took at the cafeteria and started to wash his hand, the surge that rose once she pulled his hand got even more now that she was rubbing his hand gently, then she washed hers "We should wash our hands before eating " said Tessa with a wide smile , now now Jordan was going crazy, is she gonna make him eat with his hands , he thought she brought a fork or something, he couldn't stop his lips from curving at the ends , he thought he should be wary of her , she kept making him do things that he never imagined that he could ever do in his life, given that he had everything he wanted in his life he never imagined himself doing any of this if it wasn't for this scary but cute bunny before him... They went back to set and started to eat , they chatted and laughed thier lungs out , Tessa was making him crazy even more, thier closeness kept growing bigger everytime. Jordan was lost looking at her laughing eye to eye without a care of who she is sitting with she let all her insecurities blow away at the moment, making his heart beat rhythmically "I like you my friend " he moved his hand and wiped a corner of her lips, a food staid was there , she stopped laughing and looked straight into his inviting eyes that always made her wary of him, Jordan felt like not letting his hand off her lips, they were so soft , he recollected the kiss in the jet on thier way to Paris, he found himself licking his lips, Tessa gulped not able to process what was going on, was the food stain glued on her lips, her body felt goosebumps whenever he rubbed her lips, it was getting insane. She moved her teeth as if she was going to bite his finger making him pull away his hand shocked "Hey!" he yelled and Tessa laughed "Scared of... she paised a bit and grazed her tongue on her front teeth " this? ", Jordan almost choked from her daylight seduction, she wasn't aware of what she was erupting in his body , it was simply a joke to her but to Jordan it was a shocking torture, she opened a bottle of juice and gave it to him patting his back gently, he gulped it down all at once and let out a deep breathe, he got up releasing himself from her hold "Don't do that ever again! thanks for the lunch " he turned and left in a hurry, sweat formed on his forehead...♡

Tessa mumbled "Don't do what?" she didn't even notice what she did and it's impact to him, she was Miss careless after all lol, shenwas so happy to share a lunch with him, she wrapped up the leftovers and throw them in a bin that was there, she folded the pieces of cloth and kept it safe in a corner "Stay there for future use , you never know" she giggled and climbed down. Jordan rushed to his office and found Pharell sitting in his office "Everything alright sir?" he asked all curious and surprised by his attitude. he loosened his tie and took a glass of water that Pharell handed him, gulping down every drop , Pharell couldn't comprehend the situation and just sat silence, he took out off his shoes and pressed a button below his table. Pharell watched his back as the door closed , he rushed to the bathroom and stood by the wall with cold water falling down his body to freshen up his body and mind , he couldn't believe that he was able to live all these years just fine even if any kind of a beauty passes before his eyes, even if they passed naked it didn't bother him , but what made him surprised of himself that Tessa was affecting him so much that he can't handle it when he is around her , just a little act if licking her teeth turned him on it was crazy to him..... He got out and Pharell was still there "Any news?" said Jordan walking to his seat , Pharell got up "Actually it's something to report " Jordan was going through some documents gave him a permission to continue by nodding , "The spy secretary that we released one month ago was found by the seashore... dead" Jordan stopped turning the paper and stared at him "She thinks she is smarter than I am, killing him on purpose to destroy the proof, that was reckless movement of her" he grinned...♡

"Oh yes ! I must say your aunt is getting old that even her brain is starting to drain , as long as he already confessed and we have all the records, it is her loss " he chuckled wickedly and went to seat back "But sir , what happened to you previously, it seemed like you came from a marathon " he stayed silence recollecting the scene with Tessa before saying "She is none of your business " he uttered so recklessly that he didn't even listen to what he said , Pharell got up "She .... you meant Miss Tessa ?" he teased him , that is when he realized that he just spouted nonsense before this annoying person before him, he took a pen and throw it at him "Shut up!" Pharell dodged it laughing "But things are getting serious sir, and no matter how much I try to fill the puzzles .... I think it's love, you love her but you denies it" , Jordan got up from his seat furiously "Get out now!" , Pharell moved to the door faster , he knew he would beat him up if he were to stand closer to him, but his mouth couldn't stop talking "You should give your heart a chance sir , she is beautiful I like her for you" , Jordan took a stapler and throw it at him "Out!" he yelled, he closed the door before it could reach him, ... He sat down on a couch and sighed "Love? .. Tessa?.. no I can't take chances, what are you doing Jordan?" he shook his head brushing away the fact that he likes her already and it is all over his face whenever they are together. He shortly received a text from the devil that was invading his head

"Thank you for your time friend, I liked it" ~Tessa~

he exhaled before texting back

"I like you" ~Jordan ~

Her eyes were about to pop out but then the last text made her sigh , she wasn't aware of it was for relief or disappointment

"My friend " ~Jordan ~

She almost misunderstood him if he didn't send the second text sooner, Suddenly Pharell came back again with Joel, "Joel? what are you doing here ?" he was surprised to him at the office, Joel frowned sitting on a couch "Hi" , Jordan's gaze went to Pharell as if to get a hint of what was going on but he shook his head in denial , even he wasn't aware of it.

"I'm disappointed in you, we've planned that I'd come in your office to arrange my birthday party lol, how could you forget about it? I couldn't wait for you to call the buttler and just told him to take me here because I knew you forgot the whole thing" said Joel with anger in his tone , Jordan bit his lower lip and cursed inwardly 'Damn you Jordan!'....

"Oh yes , I'm truly sorry I almost forgot, I'm sorry hero" he pulled his hand forward pleading with him, "Okay" uttered Joel, at the very moment Tessa entered "Sir, the meeting is in five minutes " she said with her attention fixed on the cute boy beside his boss , they looked alike...♡
