Chapter 57 "Nothing stays a secret forever "

Jordan told everyone about Lara's first affair and the second one, and only God knows how many times she cheated on him at this rate without his knowledge. They were all surprised by it, who would've ever thought such thing was happening behind the adorable and charming lady sitting before them.

"He is lying Mommy! I can't do such thing!" she blurted sobbing looking at her mother . "Yes my daughter can't do such shameless thing!" the mother wasn't ready to believe such thing even though they clearly know how much spoiled the daughter is , she still supported her. Jordan would've given her an Oscar for being the best mother in the world if they were in a different circumstances.

"I knew this was going to happen that's why I've prepared myself this time so she won't get a chance to blackmail me again " said Jordan, his normal face was replaced with a deadly one.

Just in time Pharell came in with a laptop and a projector, he settled it so it would be displaying on the dining room walls that was behind Jordan who was sitting at the head of the table. So that everyone could see clearly. Everyone one of them were curious of what he was upto, they just stared at the blank walls waiting for a display .

Lara's forehead was forming with sweat beads, her hands were all trembling curious of what Jordan has planned against her.

Soon afterwards Pharell displayed the projector for all to see, they were shocked by the content, shocked to see Lara on another man's laps talking and laughing leisurely as if it was her normal behaviour to do so, soon after they started to kiss and the man carried her to the bed .

Lara's eyes were about to fall from it's sockets she gulped her heart racing. Her parents as well as everyone present were shocked, "That's enough! I guess we all knows what came next under the sheets " said Jordan who was facing the wasn't facing the walls. "Now do you still want me to marry that kind of person Grandpa?" he was enraged, he went overboard with showing such video to his elders it was the only was to convince his stubborn grandparents more than anybody else here, he had to be the bad guy .

"Never! this relationship is null!" said Grandpa Shin and Jordan wanted to scream in victory, he never thought this was gonna be so easy. Grandma Shin was speechless and just stared at Lara's miserable face.

"Wow! just wow! were you going to bring a slut in our family? you people are disgusting!" said Maurice, she was truly disgusted by her face and Jordan wanted to thank her for playing a furious Auntie right now.

Lara's father got up from his and gave his daughter a very tight slap! she couldn't even process it and he gave her a second slap! on her other cheek it echoed throughout the kitchen making the maids flinch.

"I think the lunch has become a war ground" said kne of the maids "Shhh!" Butler Han shush her, it was not thier place to even think about talking about that matter. He is very strict when it comes to his rules in the household but he very kind too.

Lara was about to receive a third slap from his enraged father when her mother interfered and blocked his hand "Honey stop it!" she said with tears brewing, the man couldn't keep on staying any longer just not after how much his daughters has humiliated him infront of the elites, he left without a farewell. I mean who would want a bye at the moment anyway.

"This isn't done Lara!" they were the last words he said before walking out , he was ashamed and followed by Lara and her mother, she glared at Jordan forfew seconds before going out with her mother, she could still feel the sting on both of her red cheeks and now she was going to deal with more back at her home, she felt pathetic, she never expected any of this to happen. She have been so careful but then how come? just how the hell? it was unbelievable how Jordan accessed the video, was he spying on her this whole time?.

Unbeknownst to her even Jordan wasn't aware of her second affair, it was his two secret agents who took care of everything without his permission or knowledge.

"Oh dear I'm so sorry " said Grandma Shin as she got up and went to hug his grandson. "It's okay baby ... now stop crying" he teased her and patting her before bringing her to sit back. "I wonder how you could tease even at such situation" said his Grandma feeling so sad for him. Grandpa Shin was quite for a while contemplating on something only God knows what! he just wished he could start to talk soon and not seat in silence, they were all afraid of his silence to be exact.

He sighed 'Poor old man was very shocked' thought Pharell taking away the laptop, projector and cables, his work was done here, he should go and ping his girlfriend that thier mission was a success, as usual he had a grin going out if the dining room leaving the family to solve thier own issue.

"Lara said there is woman..... who is she?" questioned Grandpa Shin.

Jordan's gaze went straight to Mr.Michael as if he was asking for his permission to answer his Grandpa's question.

Mr.Michael gestured for him to go ahead with a wide smile, this whole time the man was sitting in silence feeding in the scene, he was impressed by how his son-in-law took care if the issue, quick and clear, leaving no room for arguments and brought the facts to the table so as to shut everyone.

He liked him already, he is perfect for his princess just so perfect !.

"Erm..... yes there is a woman in my life after Lara, a woman that feels exactly the same way that I do, a woman that makes me happy, complete and proud whenever I'm with her. The woman I love so much and I'm ready to do anything for her , she is my world now" he was beaming which was completely opposite of his usual behaviour, everyone was eager to know who this woman was right now, who is this woman that was able to make this ice cold man into a melting honey on a tongue. He was talking so lovingly as if he was imagining her as he keep on talking about her. Just who is she!? was the question that lingered in his Grandparents and his auntie's mind.

Mr.Michael kept on smiling feeling so proud to have such son-in-law.

Grandpa Shin cleared his throat "Bring her home as soon as possible! I would like to meet with her " he said before standing up to leave , "I'm so happy for you honey, bring her soon" said Grandma Shin she kissed his forehead before heading out. They had nothing to do her and went back to thier home, thank God that python was able to be revealed to thier blinded eyes.

Maurice got up looking at her nephew intently as if she was looking onto his mind to know what was going on. "Congratulations nephew, I can't wait to meet her" she uttered making her way out .

Mr.Michael shook hands with Jordan, "That went well .... now finish what needs to be done..... son" he walked out with a pleased smile. Jordan was surprised to hear Mr.Michael call him son, he was happy infact , he wanted to share rhus with Tessa, no actually he have to right now! "Pharrell! were going to pick up Joel now!" he got up heading upstairs to change .

Pharell got out and prepared thier car.

Milly and Joel were upstairs drawing competition which was made up by thier own mind so.as to waste time, while her sisters were downstairs cooking lunch, they were giggling so much telling each other what happened last night I. details, these two kept no secret to each other since day one. The video was an exception that for the first time Srah had to keep it from her.

"I'll go get something to drink" Milky , "Okay" said Joel focused on what he was drawing, Milly was stunned to find the two whispering to each other, this have been happening since they came back home, Okay these two are too much weird ! as if it's only them that did it ! thought Milly .

"Gosh! stop it you two!" she said opening a fridge taking two bottles of cold drinks , "What!" they asked in unison "Oh I know that you two slept with the two back at the mansion and you should get over it , it's embarrassing!" she turned and left them frozen, they were shocked "Oh my God! how did she know?" asked Sarah "Was it obvious? oh this is so embarrassing " . Tessa said hiding hee face with her palms .

They were startled by Milly's screams later on "Joel! Joel! Joel what's wrong!" , "What's happened?" said Tessa, they rushed upstairs o lying to find him laying on the floor breathing hardly, their eyes were about to fell off, "What happened to him Milly! " asked Sarah.

"I don't know..... I just came to bring us some drinks and ... and found him like this ! Tessa I'm scared " said Mill between her sobs. Tessa took out her phone and dialled her sweetheart, "Why is he breathing like that?" Tessa was confused.

Jordan picked up on the first ring "Hello baby I'm on my ...." he couldn't finish his words and was shocked by the continuous sobbing sounds, " Tessa what's wrong ? Why are you crying? everything is fine right?" he asked impatiently. "Jordan... it's Joel... he is having hard time breath " she said sobbing hard not knowing what to do, she lost her mother and she couldn't do anything and now it's Joel.

"Okay I'm on my way!" he said "No! were already taking a taking a taxi heading to a nearby hospital " said Tessa. "Okay hang up and text me the address then" , she hanged up looking down at Joel who was weakly breathing as if he would die anytime, "Please hang I there Joel... please " using her hand she fan his face that broke with sweat beads. Milly was sobbing quietly and Sarah at the front seat yelling at the driver to speed up .

They reached at a nearby hospital, Joel was quickly attended since he was having hard time breathing yhe doctor used a nebulizer to help him, he was injected corticosteroids so as to reduce inflammation in the lungs and Airways.

Tessa, Milly and Sarah were outside the room sitting on benches, poor Milly was crying non stop, "Shh! Joel will be okay princess don't worry " said Sarah hugging Milly in her embrace.

Tessa clasped her hands together praying to all Gods to save him. Shortly Jordan and Pharell arrived panting , "Where is he?" the two asked in unison, "The doctor is treating him, we were told to wait outside " said Tessa getting up from her sear .

"What happened?" he asked in worry, he was fine for a long time so why now? Tessaa held his hands "The two were playing , when he suddenly fell down hardly breathing ' she said with teary eyes eyes, she engulfed herself in his embrace, Jordan closed his eyes and took took deep breath .

The doctors cane out and all of them surrounded him eager to know how he is, the doctor smiled , they look so adorable with thier worried faces.

"Doctor what happened? I mean how is he doing ?" Jordan bombarded him with questions , "Calm down Mr.Brighton... he would have been in danger if you all were late to admit her to the hospital, but the now he is stable, so rest assured, he has asthma attack due to respiratory infections, the cold air in particular, just make sure he continues to use his long-term medication, keep him away from cold temperature and keep close with his quick relief inhaler" he elaborated to all of them , "Thank you doctor " uttered Jordan. The doctor smiled at the lovely family and walked away.

After couple of minutes they were allowed to see him and were told he could get discharged anytime.

They were all scared and worried of Joel's disease , the three were surprised to hear that he had asthma, they never even once saw him with his inhaler. But after the doctor's explanation they were all relieved, they stayed at the hospital until he regain his conscious and brought him back home at the evening, the girls went back to thier home after escorting Joel to thier mansion safely and sound first.

He was given his meditation and where sleep, his roo. was kept in moderate hot temperature for a while to keep him warm as they always did before.
