Chapter 38

Laura nodded her head at his word and the two start to kiss slowly heating things up then the sound of lightning due to the rain frightened Laura and break them apart

The both of them laughed and Chris place her down then they head to the dinning room to eat dinner. Laura dish out the food and they say down side by side and begin to eat whispering things to each other also. They finished eating and decide to settle everything down with a bottle of wine.

"Do you have anything to do with Avan's company issues? I heard they've been in some serious trouble this few days" Chris asked.

He has used the information and documents with him to make his most important investors break off their contract but it seems like there is someone helping him behind the scene because the news of Avan being an illegitimate child suddenly break out the same day and some inside information that really helped him to bring him down popped up making it so easy to get him.

Chris knows that such information that was kept hidden without anyone having any knowledge of it must be revealed by an insider who knows him too well and he could only think of Laura

"Yes, I revealed the news and gave the evidences of his illegal dealing in the black market to the right authorities" Laura answered

"He dared to cheat on me for four years so he should be ready to bear the consequences" she added and looked upset to hear his name

"As my husband, are you not supposed to do something?" She shot at him

"Am going to make him pay and wish he was never born"

"Are you angry because he cheated on you or because your pride is hurt"

"I know he wasn't faithful with the relationship but am just so disappointed it's with Clara" Chris nodded and drank up the drink in his glass then bought out his tablet and showed a post to her

"Avan and his company will be summoned for interrogation tomorrow and there will be a search and seizure in his office and house" he explained and hand over the tablet to her

"No matter what he does, he and his family will not be able to get out of this mess for a long time"

Laura smiled as she read it and gets to know the real situation of things for Avan, seeing that all he has is about to closed down and end in a day, Laura is happy and so proud of Chris that she throw herself into his arms and hugged him tightly. She then kiss him all over his face and Chris laughed at her playfully behavior.

Chris managed to stop her and asked if she is that happy and she nodded yes with enthusiasm.

"Tell me whatever you want and I will grant it for you" she said and Chris had a quick thought of what to ask

"Forget about your ex" he told her and Laura is quick surprised to hear his request

"I don't have an ex" she replied with clear eyes

"Good one"

"And come to think of it, I also cheated on him and got married to you" she said

"Speaking of getting married, we haven't had the chance to consummate our marriage yet, a rainy night like this is perfect" he said with a seducing smile then took her by the hand from her seat and pull her to sit on his laps.

Laura smiled shyly and turned her face away but Chris cupped her face in his hand and kissed her gently on the nose, he kissed her lips and continue to do that till Laura willingly place her hands around him and allowed him inside her mouth, the two had some lips locking for a minute before they heard the sound of the front door opening and stopped to see who it could be.

Mira entered the house drenched from the rain and soaked from head to toe, she dropped the bag in her hand and shivering badly.

Both Laura and Chris were shocked to see her like that and Laura quickly went in to get some dry towel for her while Chris stood there till she got back

"Aren't you going to invite me in" Mira said

"You already came in without invitation" he replied and Laura soon came back with two towels and gave them to Mira

"Why did you come here at this time in the rain?" Laura questioned and tried to help her dry her hair but Mira push her out of the way and walk up to Chris angrily

"Are you really going to do this to me? Are you going to forget all our memories together and abandon me?" She cried and hit him on the shoulder sobbing.

Chris held her hand and stopped her from hitting him further

"We didn't share anything together and there was nothing between us" he said and bought out his phone to call her parents

"I will call your parents to come get you" he told her before dialing the number but Mira snatched his phone and screamed

"They sent me out of the house!" Chris stopped and looked puzzled by what she just said while Laura folded her arms and watch the drama unfold. Mira held Chris and start to cry more

"Don't let them send me back to that place, you know my parents always listen to you. If you go with me now and tell them that you will be with me they will surely listen and let me stay" she begged and Chris's hands were tied

Mira's parents can be quite strict and sometimes lock her up whenever she does something against their wish.

He helped her long ago and promised to take care of her then they let her come back with him and because of that, she has come to rely on him and she asks him to marry her but Chris made it clear that he just did that to help her and has no other feelings for her beside that

Chris looked over at Laura and held Mira trying to make her calm down, he promised to talk to her parents and let her stay over at his parents house but Mira refused and continued to cry

"She can stay here for tonight" Laura said and walk away but just as she was about to walk pass them, Chris held her hand back and turned to her

"Go to my room, I will be with you in a minute" she told her but Laura refused looking gloomy

"No, I have some works to attend to" she said and forced a smile before leaving to her room

Laura decide to freshen up again and put on just her underwear feeling lazy to grab her nightwear then lay down to sleep.

She stretch her ears to see if she can hear any sound from Chris and Mira but couldn't.

She feels angry that Mira came to spoil their moments together and the fact that Chris touched her earlier, she was standing right there and Mira is trying to get cosy with him but he couldn't figure that out and let her. She wonder if he's going to pet her to sleep also because he looks like he would if she continues to cry.

"Idiot" she blurted out and hissed then close her eyes deciding to ignoring it but after trying to sleep for more than thiry minutes, Laura had a thought and sit up on the bed

"Are they sleeping together in the same room?" She thought out aloud and shake her head in disbelief.

"That's not possible" she thought again and thinks that Mira might force him to.

Laura become restless again and thought to go out and see if Chris is in his room alone but before she could get out of the bed, she heard some movement at her door and quickly lay down pretending to be asleep.

She heard Chris come in and move around the room quietly, she closed her eyes not able to figure out what he's doing and after a minute, he joined her in bed and raise the duvet she used to cover herself and he lay down beside her, hugging her and place his lips beside her ears

"Are you asleep?" He whispered to her ears and Laura felt a shiver run down through her body, she didn't reply and pretend to snore. Chris smiled and kissed her face then he raised her head gently and place it on his arm to sleep.

Laura waited for a few minutes, before letting out a long sigh and tried to turned to face him but Chris suddenly move and she froze.

"Are not sleeping?" Chris said and laughed silently

"Is that funny? I decide if I want to sleep or not" she remarked annoyed that he just played her

"You are the one faking to be asleep" he replied and Laura slap his hand away from her body

"Then go check if your Mra is also awake and sleep with her" she snapped

"You told her to stay"

"And if I didn't will you have gone out of the house with her to go find an hotel?"

"I will never… what are you thinking?" Chris sighed and tried to touch her but Laura slap his hand away again and turned her back to him angrily

"Seriously, are you going to be angry at me all night when we just got the time to spend together"

"I should ask you why you let your ex in the house this late"

"So we are not longer consummating our marriage?" He asked but Laura keep quiet.

Chris got out of bed and pull off his top then return to join her in bed and held her waist closely to himself, he move his hand over her tummy and then start to kiss her neck slowly and hungrily. Laura was startled and tried to move away but Chris held her firmly and wouldn't let her.

He move his hand swiftly into her clothes and work it straight to her bosom, he cuddles them and use his hand to ride down her body making Laura moan loudly in pleasure.

She placed her hand on his to stop him but her reaction made Chris pleased and he continued then he kissed the corner of her lips and her neck all over leaving marks on her.

Laura was flushed and held the duvet tightly enjoying the feeling and pleasure she is getting from his touch, his body on her back felt so good and Laura long to touch and kiss them.

She wanted to turn around and face him but Chris won't let her and soon move away from her bosom then move his slowly to the lower parts of her body and get his hand into her pants, the moment his hand touched her there, Laura called out his name in a whisper and bite her lower lips getting wet and filled with lust for him

Chris ride her with his hand and he could feel her whole body wet and hot from his touch then he let her turn to face him, Laura hugged him immediately and held his body to herself

She raised her head and kissed him passionately, the both of them rolled on the bed and end up panting after minutes.

They stopped and Chris searched her eyes to see if she is aroused enough

Laura move her body lower a bit and kissed his breast.

She placed her hand on him to feel his body and kissed her hungrily, she kissed him down to his abdomen just below his private part and looked at his eyes as if asking for permission to continue

Laura slowly pull his boxers and put her hand inside them. She pull it down his legs and felt shy to continue so she stopped.

Chris smiled then help her to finish and throw the boxer on the floor, he torn off her singlet and her pant in a second and lay down on top of her and kissed her bosom making them wet and wanting more.

"Chris…" Laura moaned seductively…..
