Just as after he said the rules almost all of the participants gathered at the forest entrance and formed a group with those that they knew. They are talking to each other while some are just serious that can't be bothered.

'There are too many people in here. Is the number on 20000-30000?' Li Wei thought to himself since he knew that he will have many competitors and the number of beasts might not be enough.

'Looks like I need to go deeper so that I will have plenty of beasts that I can hunt and I will have fewer competitors' Li Wei thought to himself without any change to his impassive face.

"The test will start now!" The elder said to them when everyone suddenly charges to the forest with their weapon.

Li Wei also runs the moment he heard the signal for the start of the test. He made sure to avoid many people and he didn't even look at the other beasts that are being attacked by others. He just runs to make sure that he is far from others so that they can't bother him.

After running at his fast speed for a while Li Wei stopped since he knew he was already far from others and he can't sense them anymore. It is also at this moment that he senses many beasts approaching him.

He didn't dilly dally anymore and he quickly take an action. Instead of waiting for them, he circulated his qi into his meridians which make him even stronger.

With the beasts and Li Wei approaching each other, he sees that his enemy is a Demonic Thunder Cat it is called as such since its fur is colored like thunder.

It relies on its agility to fight its enemies.

They run at their fastest speed forming a group of 5 to try and enclose Li Wei in a circle to block all of his escape routes.

'They at least had a little bit of knowledge in their instinct Li Wei thought and then he moves at his fastest speed executing a basic slash of Fate Sword Arts slicing the one in front of him into half.

Seeing that one of them died easily they abandon the thought of encircling him but rather they attack him wildly.

They might be fast but to Li Wei, they are slow since the effect of the golden apple has been showing its effect. He can clearly see their movements that they look slow.

Knowing that they are slow and wouldn't make a different outcome, Li Wei quickly dealt with all of them by moving faster and attacking faster. They didn't even know how they died.

Seeing that no other beasts are in the area Li Wei quickly leaves the place to find other beasts that he can hunt. Today he is going on a killing spree.

Li Wei continued spreading his qi and going in the direction of the beasts that he sees and he at least dealt quite a massacre due to his speed. He is already at the Peak of Qi Gathering Realm and these beasts are just at the 6th and 7th Stage of Qi Gathering Realm so they are easier to deal with even if they are stronger than their counterpart in other areas.

Going deeper and deeper he faces many types of beasts other than the Demonic Thunder Cat, he also killed a Darth Viper who are sneaky with its unnaturally color of black.

A Darth Viper as a demonic beast is more dangerous than the Thunder Cat since these Darth Vipers' color of black will easily blend to its surroundings and has a poisonous qi.

But with the use of sensing techniques, it will be easier to spot them and most cultivators know how to do it since many demonic beasts are sneaky and hard to detect.

Li Wei took a breather first since he feels like a long amount of time has passed already and he has hunted and killed plenty of these demonic beasts. He looked at his bracelet since he didn't feel anything in his surroundings now.

Li Wei sees his ranking and his current score, he knew that his rank is on the upper ladder even if he has wasted a huge amount of time just by making sure that he is far from others. With his pace, he might not even be a part of the top 10 in the rankings of the test but he can be part of the top 100.

It is pretty clear that most of the participants in this test are skilled and knew martial arts, they aren't just some cultivators who rely on pills to boost their cultivation since no matter how hard you try to fasten your cultivation it wouldn't matter because in the early stages the growth in strength is not that obvious yet.

'I have to go deeper if I want to score more, my qi is still at 70% so this is going to be fine. I can now execute the skill Gathering Storms and maintain it for an hour at the cost of lowering its power' Li Wei decided what to do next and he goes deeper and deeper since he has goals.

His current goal now is to find the reason why such a beast is wreaking havoc. Black Star Tiger most of the time is aggressive however it makes sure that it won't leave its territory.

'Something must have happened in his territory that he will be forced to go insane' Li Wei thought since it looks like the beast has lost all of its sanity and is much stronger than what a normal black star tiger is.

'Is this a mini boss? This beast must be on drugs' Li Wei though and he takes position to unleash his only sword skill that he can execute.
