This was not the first time Leslie had been to the hospital.
Only this time, she was more scared than ever before. She felt more overwhelmed.
As the door of the operating room closed, Leslie could barely lean on the door outside the surgery.
She wanted to hear the status inside the operating room, but she could hear nothing.
Leslie still remembered the way he was carried out of the ambulance. He did not move with oxygen masks on his body.
Fear burst out for no reason.
Could it be that he had died inside?
Suddenly the door opened and the doctor in a white coat, looking awe-inspiring, came out.
How could the doctor come out of the surgery when the surgery hadn't even been an hour?
Could it be?
Leslie could not suppress her fear.
Her legs started to get weak and she couldn't even stand up.
"Is the patient's family here?"
Leslie put her hands on her aching chest, speaking with trembling, "Is he going to be dead?"
