"I need to get myself some pills first, looks like I will have to meet that girl" said Long Tian

As he thought of that girl, a smile crept up on his face. Shaking his head, Long Tian left his courtyard.

Long Tian went to the Su Families Pill Pavilion, in the city only the Pill Pavilion had the best pills, and since the Long family were close to the Su family. Long Tian had some privileges, but that does not mean that he gets good treatment.

Since Long Tian had always been lowkey and hiding his strength, many other cultivators in the city called him Turtle Tian. Even some disciples in the Su family used to call him that, but they did not dare to do that after a certain incident.

This incident further worsened the relationship between Long Tian and the Su family's male disciples as the root cause was the Su Family's princess.

Long Tian walked into the Pill Pavilion and went to the female receptionist.

"Hi sister, could I get some materials?" asked Long Tian with a smile. In Long Tian's previous life, he was also a talented alchemist as his master was a Pill Queen. Therefore, he was someone that knew how to concoct pills although he was someone that was not extremely talented at it. Long Tian only wanted to concoct some simple pills that would help him prepare for his cultivation.

His smile was so resplendent that it stunned the female receptionist, but after a while Long Tian's request further stunned her. Everyone knew that Long Tian was not a very good cultivator, and that whenever he visited the Pavilion, he would buy pills for healing.

He had never bought materials before, and only alchemists would buy materials.

"Young master Long, you want to buy materials? Not pills?" asked the receptionist with a stunned and confused expression

Long Tian inwardly shook his head, he knew that his actions would cause many people to be confused as he had never done this before.

"Yes sister, I am learning alchemy and I wanted to practice." Replied Long Tian

Suddenly a mocking laughter rang out

"Pfft, you, Turtle Tian wants to learn alchemy? You could not cultivate and hid away, now you've turned to alchemy? Can you even do that?" asked a young man with a sneer walking with 2 other males.

"Hahahahaha, turtle tian, what are you trying to do? Do you think that you are a disciple of my family?" asked one of the 2 males besides the young man

"Su Rong!" a fierce roar rang out from behind

This roar caused Su Rong to sweat, he knew that he had messed up today.

"Young miss!" said Su Rong with an ugly expression on his face looking towards the source of the roar.

The roar had come from a young woman, she had a beautiful countenance, and a sexy body. She wore red and looked like a flame queen. This young woman was the only daughter of the Su family head, Su Rou.

Su Rou was a cultivator at the 9th layer of the Martial Tempering Realm who specialised in flame arts, this was the reason to her fiery temper and aggressive nature. She was also part of the 6 Fairies of Dragonbreath, and she had an ongoing rivalry with Long Tian's elder sister Long Yun. Both had fiery tempers and clashed often, little did Long Tian know that the reason for the conflicts was him.

Su Rou was 20 years old and was in the Flame Sect, she was also a popular target for many young masters, and this included the young man who had started the conflict with Long Tian earlier.

"Fairy Su, it is a pleasure to meet you again!" said the young man with a flattering smile on his face while looking at Su Rou.

Su Rou looked at him with a disgusted expression asking, "Who are you?"

The young man was dumbfounded, he could not believe that the young miss of the Su Family would not know him. He was one of the geniuses in the city and was part of the Zhou Family, he was the son of the Zhou family's second elder and he had never thought that he would not be known.

"Fairy Su, please don't joke with me. I am Zhou Feng and we had met just a few weeks ago." Said Zhou Feng with an ugly smile on his face

"Oh, it's you." Said Su Rou with a nonchalant expression, "Sorry I only remember people that are worth fighting"

Zhou Feng's expression turned uglier

"Fairy Su, with all due respect. I did not disrespect you in any way, why are you causing trouble with me?" growled Zhou Feng

"Why? Because you are mocking him! Long Tian is my friend, and anyone that picks a fight with him will have to face me!" said Su Rou

Zhou Feng was confused; he had heard rumours about how the Su family's princess was very close to the Long family's young master. But he did not expect this, he grew frustrated seeing the woman he wanted to court protecting another man. And this man was someone he deemed weak, he felt humiliated.

"Turtle Tian, I knew that you were trash, but I did not expect you to hide behind a woman" sneered Zhou Feng

"Young master Zhou, please don't insult me like this. I have just come to buy some materials and you started finding trouble with me. Sister Su saw this and came to stop you, this has nothing to do with me." Said Long Tian nonchalantly

"Coward" sneered Zhou Feng turning around to leave

As Su Rong turned around to leave with Zhou Feng, a voice rang out from behind him

"Su Rong, why are you leaving?" said a sharp voice

Su Rong stopped and looked at Su Rou with a begging expression, "Young miss, I only followed Young Master Zhou to show him around as he wanted to buy pills. I did not come to cause trouble" said Su Rong

"Oh really? Then why did you cause trouble with Long Tian? You know what I have said before right?" asked Su Rou with a smile that did not seem like a smile

Su Rong who saw this smile felt his knees shake, he knew that he was fucked

Whenever Su Rou smiled like this, it meant that somebody was going to suffer. Su Rong lamented at his own stupidity, just because of currying favor he completely forgot about his family's young miss' warning that she had given to all Su family disciples.

Su Rou hated hearing people calling Turtle Tian, and when she found out that even her family members called him that, she had exploded in anger. The Su family members knew that Su Rou liked Long Tian but was not openly pursuing him as Long Tian did not seem to take the initiative. She only acted like a protective big sister to the public.

"Long Tian, what do you think I should do with this guy? He insulted you." Asked Su Rou looking at Long Tian

Long Tian sighed "Sister Su, just let him go. I don't mind being called names", Su Rou shook her head thinking that Long Tian was too lenient

"You go back. I will come and deal with you later." Said Su Rou

Su Rong hurriedly bowed and apologised to the two of them and scurried out

"So Long Tian, why have you come here?" asked Su Rou

"Sister Su, I want to buy some materials to concoct pills" replied Long Tian

Su Rou looked confused, "You want to concoct pills? I see, do you want big sister to teach you?" asked Su Rou

As far as she knows, Long Tian had no knowledge on concocting pills, and he was not part of any sect yet as he had just become 16. He had no master as well, so she thought of teaching him alchemy.

Long Tian looked at her with an amused expression

"Hahahaha, Sister Su don't worry I have read some books and am only going to try. I am not trying to become an alchemist. Sister Su doesn't need to bother with this." Said Long Tian laughingly

Su Rou looked disappointed, she had actually wanted to spend more time with Long Tian but it looked like he did not want to.

"Alright, just tell the receptionist what you want, and she will give it to you. All of them will be on big sister, take it as an apology from me for the problem earlier" said Su Rou with a smile

Long Tian laughed, "If that is what Sister Su says I will shamelessly accept!"

Su Rou showed a smile on her beautiful face, her smile seemed to make the world around her lose color after this she turned around to leave. Long Tian shook his head while looking at her silhouette, he was truly blessed to have the favor of such a woman. But he knew that now was not the time for any of this, he needed to grow stronger first. Maybe only after joining a sect will he can think about this, otherwise he would have made a move on Yun Wu'er a long time ago.

"Well then sister receptionist could you get me these materials" said Long Tian while passing a list of materials to the receptionist

The receptionist quickly bowed and left to get the materials, after a few mins she came with a storage box filled with all the materials.

"Here you go Young Master Long" said the receptionist

Long Tian took the box and said his thanks, turning around to leave.
