His father, who he was talking with not long ago and respected the most, fell like that to that monster.

"Father!!!" Shouted Steffon, who was in agony after seeing his father's state. Although Ormund fell from his horse with his two hands cut down, he was still alive and breathing. He could hear his son's words clearly, although he found it hard to take his breath anymore. He could not believe that his intuition came true like that, and he would not get another chance to see his grandchildren again.

"Steffon, hear me out. I don't have much time..." Said Ormund, who was stuttering because he could not catch his breath since he had a hole in his chest. He knew that he would die at any moment, but he had to say those few words to Steffon to warn him against going to that monster.

Aerys, Tywin, Rickard, Jon Arryn, and Nymera Martel managed to catch up with Steffon at this exact moment and saw this scene and could not help but have a grim expression on their faces. Some enemy soldiers wanted to use this situation in their favor and kill Steffon, who held his dying father in his hands at this moment. But Steffon's friends surrounded Steffon and his father and killed everyone from the enemies that dared to come close to the two.

After seeing this scene, Ormund could not help but smile at his son's luck to have those friends who followed him all the way here. But Ormund did not have time to praise Steffon about this matter.

"Don't get close to that monster. You and your friends will die if you fight..." Said Ormund with a horrified expression as he looked at his son, who was crying while holding him in his arms, but before he could complete his words, he took his last breath and died in his son's hands.

"Father!!!!" Shouted Steffon as he cried for his dead father and could not help but turn mad at this moment. Baratheon's fury took over, and Steffon fought like a mad man. He struck every enemy that dared to come close to his father, ignoring his injuries. If not for the group around Steffon, who was taking his rear and helping him take some burdens, he would have died.

After Ormund's death, the battle moved towards the Blackfyre's victory since the spiritual leader of the realm's army died this early in the war, and some soldiers even tried to return to the ships. Gerald Hightower, who was second in command in the crown's army, did everything he could to restore the soldiers' morales and make them fight back, or they would die all in this war. It took some time for him to convince the soldiers to return to their posts. But in the end, the young Gerald proved that he was an unusual leader since he managed to avoid such a disastrous defeat after Ormund's early death in this war and managed to return the battle in their favor, even with Maelys' continuous killing.

During the battle, Tywin's younger uncle, Jason Lannister, got killed while leading the Westerlands' army early in this war. Tywin, who saw his capable uncle dying like that and Roger Reyne taking his place and gaining more recognition, was furious to witness that and swore in his heart to think of a plan to replace his father with force if needed. As for the arrogant Reyne, who took control after Jason's death, Tywin was planning to fuck them up anyway after this war behind his father's back.

After the battle took so long, A young knight, who came with Steffon Baratheon from Stormsland to support the crown's army, saw the monster, Maelys, killing knights from their side left and right and decided to take action himself. He kicked his horse, crossing the battlefield to the other direction slaying his war through the enemy's soldiers since he knew that if he managed to kill their leader, this army would disband.

When Maelys saw the young knight coming towards him raising his sword like that, Maelys smiled and gave a creepy laugh since he got amazed by that young knight's bravery and admired him for doing something like that. The young knight did not seem to fear death, or he would not come asking for it himself like that.

"A bold or a fool." Said Maelys as he stood in front of the knight on his horse while mocking him after seeing the young man taking out his sword to fight him.

"You will know soon." Said Barristan Selmy as he looked at that monster with two heads in front of him without any fear in his eyes. He saw how that monster killed many of his countrymen, who came with him from Stormsland and killed their lord as well. How could the brave Barristan not act in this situation??? He would not be Barristan Selmy if he did not.

"Haha..." Laughed Maelys as he thought a little of the young man in front of him and mocked him even further with his laughter.

At that time, Barristan did not wait further for that mad man and kicked his horse to fight him head-on. The two clashed at once, and the sword met the sword. The fight was on the monster, Maelys's favor at first since the man was monstrously strong and the young Barristan was not his equal as well when it came to pure strength. But the situation did not remain like that for long since Barristan switched from pure strength into sword techniques and managed to hold that monster more than Ormund Baratheon did.

The two battled for more than half an hour without any winner since Maelys could not use his strength perfectly in front of Barristan, who knew how to avoid its impact. But during that time, the crown's armies were able to deal more damage with Maelys pinned down by Barristan like that. Steffon and his friends were able to achieve good results and turned into heroes in this war. Another notable young knight in this war was Brynden Tully, who fought and killed many enemy soldiers.

Maelys, who got distracted by what was happening around him, did not realize that he would die soon because of his actions. Barristan, who saw that as his chance, did not waste any time and attacked Maelys with his sword slashing his chest with this hit. Maelys looked back at Barristan as he did not believe that he would die on this young knight's hand like that and in this shit place. He, the monster himself who killed his cousin and pulled the heads of those who were against him, would die like that. He wanted to say something to stop Barristan, but Barristan did not give him the opportunity to open his mouth and beheaded him in one last blow, ending this war with this golden hit.
