That took us to this moment. After a year of careful planning, Tywin finally decided to make his move. He used the chance when his father went and stayed with his mistress for days again and sent to House Tarbeck and House Reyne to come to the Rock to answer their crimes.
Of course, the two houses, who had witnessed how weak Tytos Lannister was in the previous year, decided to use this chance and rose in rebellion, renouncing their allegiance to Casterly Rock.
Without his father's permission, Tywin marched against the upstart vassals with three thousand men-at-arms and crossbowmen. He also took five hundred knights. Tywin decided to end this war as fast as possible since his wife Joanna was pregnant, and he needed to be there for her.
He decided to attack Tarbeck Hall first since they did not have as many men as the Reyne's. Plus, if he managed to destroy them and their castle, Tywin and his men would have an advantage against House Reyne.
Because the Lannisters marched on Tarbeck Hall so suddenly, Lord Walderan Tarbeck had no time to rally his banners. As such, he met the Lannister host in battle with only his household knights.
Tywin was not playing with them and at once ordered to surround House Tarbeck, who did not have enough men to defend themself. A short, bloody battle ensued in which the Tarbecks got butchered. The heads of Walderan and his sons were impaled on spears and led the march onto Tarbeck Hall.
Tywin decided to send his brother Kevan to Lady Ellyn, who had made enough problems for the Lannisters until this moment, to ask her to surrender. Kevan, who respected his brother for making this daring move without waiting for their father's permission, led two men and moved to the castle.
Lady Ellyn stood with her child in her hands on the walls to see the situation herself. She had sent ravens for her brothers, asking them to reinforce her with knights from Castamere. When she saw knights moving towards their gates and her men were about to use their bows to kill them, she waved her hand to stop them in order to hear what they wanted to say.
When the three came close, Lady Ellyn could see who was coming. She knew that young knight because he was a squire to her brother, Roger. She always mocked him since she had seen that her house was getting much stronger than the Lannisters.
"Look who is here. Is not that Kevan Lannister, the gloomy face squire of my brother? And here he is. Attacking the hands that fed him after becoming a knight?" Mocked the woman since she saw that the Lannister did not have a chance to take the castle before her brothers came.
"Hmph. As if I would respect such a person like you. You have till the sunset, or you will have your head like your husband and his sons." Said Kevan with a cold face since he never liked to spend time with House Reyne. He only went there because of his good-for-nothing father, who forced him to do that.
"You are not the only lions in the west, ser. My brothers are coming, and their claws are just as long and sharp as yours." Said Ellyn with a loud laugh as she saw that they could defeat the Lannister when her brothers arrived. She imagined how she would be the lady of Casterly Rock after taking it for themselves.
"We will see." Said Kevan with a cold smile, who turned his horse and returned to Tywin's camp, intending to tell his brother what this crazy woman said.
While he sent his brother to talk with that woman, Tywin was not sitting there idle since he was constructing siege engines to attack the castle since he was sure that Ellyn would never give up.
After hearing what his brother said, Tywin order to start the attack at once since he could not wait for House Reyne's arrival. With most of their knights dead in the previous short battle, Tarbeck Hall did not have a chance against the Lannister full attack.
The siege engines were used to throw a great boulder over the walls onto Tarbeck Hall's aged keep, bringing the castle down upon Ellyn and her son, Tion. All resistance ended, and the gates were thrown open. Tywin decided to kill any possible heir to the castle that might come later to avenge his family.
So Tywin decided to order Amory Lorch to throw Rohanne's, Ellyn's daughter's three-year-old son, from above the castle's wall.
Tywin commanded the castle to be put to the torch after, making sure that everything went as he wanted. For a day and night, the flames burned until nothing remained from Tarbeck Hall. Nothing except a blackened empty shell.
When the Reyne's armies arrived and saw what happened to House Tarbeck, they attacked Tywin's army, taking them by surprise.
But how could that attack defeat Tywin? He ordered the knights to gather around him and led the attack himself, helping his men to get their morales up again.
House Reyne only had two thousand men, so how could they stop Tywin with his four thousand men. The battle did not take long, and Tywim managed to kill most of House Reyne's troops. Roger Reyne saw that only defeat waited for them, so he made a decisive decision and ordered his men to retreat.
Unfortunately, he got injured and would not leave his bed again. House Reyne only managed to save five hundred men in this battle and return to Castamere.
Tywin did not want to waste any more time and followed them with the other lords who decided to join at this point. House Reyne used their final chance and hid in the mines to escape from Tywin and his army.
Unfortunately, Tywin had another opinion. He could not wait anymore for those idiots to surrender, and his wife was about to give birth to his first child. He directed a near river to the mines and killed every remaining Reyne.
Tywin did not wait anymore and left his brother to take care of the rest since he had done what he came here for anyway. With this, no House would dare to anger House Lannister again. Tywin had created a legend in this place by killing every member of the two houses without leaving anyone alive.

[Ninth month of year 261 AC]
[Casterly Rock]
"Push, my lady, push." Said the maester who was helping Joanna in giving birth.
Tywin, who had just arrived at the castle, heard those words as he came to his chamber. He did not wait and entered at once. He had promised Joanna to be there for her always. He stood beside her and held her hand to encourage her.
"Whaaah..."
"Whaaah..."
The voices of two children got heard by everyone in the room, making Joana smile after everything happened. The maester speeded up and cleaned the children and their mother before handing the two children to their mother.
"Look, Tywin. Our little children are here." Said Joanna as she smiled at her children before turning to Tywin.
At this time, Tywin smiled for the second time in his life after seeing his wife's smile and his children, especially the boy.
