Chapter 75: Exposed!
(3rd person's POV)
"Queen Guinevere is guilty of committing adultery!"
In the presence of all members of the round table along with king and queen, Agravain exposed the crime of Queen Guinevere like a bomb.
Everyone was startled when one knight of the round table revealed such news.
Lancelot stood up with shock on his face. His agitation was apparent in front of everyone and it was not difficult to pinpoint who was the man she slept with.
"I think I don't have to say who the other culprit is." Agravain then smirked at the sight of Lancelot and Guinevere's guilty face.
"What the hell?!"
"The problems of our king weren't enough that these two brought another one!"
"I knew that something was wrong when I saw both of them getting closer."
"The hell is wrong with these two? They are royalties and yet…"
Other knights of the round table also started to show their abhorrence for Guinevere and Lancelot who didn't try to hide their sin for committing adultery.
Everyone was so infuriated that they almost forgot the most important member closer to both of them.
Einar was just sitting with a hand on his chin with a boring look like he didn't care for a single bit but after he glared at them, they stopped their murmur.
All of them had expected a little reaction from Einar Sirius du lac but the person in question was unfathomable.
It was like he didn't care about the distress of the round table and the tension befall on their king. Well, to be honest, he never really cared for any affair of this island. His hatred was apparent to all knights but no one has any will or reason to confront him.
First, he was the strongest knight who was also a mage capable of killing anyone on this island. Even King Arthur and Merlin the greatest magus didn't have any chance if he wants to go all out.
Second, except for his hatred and his disinterest to work as a knight, he was still the best and most capable knight. His contributions to the country were above all the knights that could make him a king.
But he was just a machine working with a time bomb inside. It would be better not to mess to create problems.
"Father!" It was Galahad, son of the sinner, who stood and glared at Lancelot. "I never expected that you would commit such a crime. Did you never considered the position of Queen Guinevere and more importantly the face of my dead mother?!"
"Galahad…"
"Well I had little pride in you as a father but everything is dead to me," Galahad stated and sat down. The grief on his face left as he severed the final tie with his father.
"Silence!"
It was Merlin's voice who stopped all the knights to create more drama and nodded at King Arthur to proceed as she could.
Artoria turned towards Guinevere whose face was devoid of any emotion and asked, "Queen Guinevere is that true?"
"It is, my king," Guinevere answered and her words were absent from any emotion.
"ngh.." King Arthur gritted her teeth but she has been the ideal king so her position warned from showing any sympathy for Guinevere.
She understood the sacrifices that Lancelot and Guinevere made all these years but she again held her emotions back.
Adultery was simply a serious crime at that time and punishments were harsh from lifetime imprisonment, cutting limbs, or a simple death which was least painful.
"Guards, take her away." She ordered two guards who came and put cuffs on Guinevere's hands.
Lancelot who became furious, raised his voice to stop his king. "My king, please don't blame her but-"
However before he could continue, someone punched him with jaw-breaking force and sent him flying on the wall.
Lancelot was not even able to see the source as such force as he crashed on the wall and coughed blood losing his teeth.
"W-what the…"
Face covered with blood, his sight fell on a big stuffed toy and Einar's evil smile.
"Don't… tell me…."
"Tsk tsk, what a terrible brother you are~. It seems like the little brother has to teach a lesson on how not to cheat on someone else's wife~. Keke, that was a wonderful joke." Einar chuckled while walking closer to Lancelot who couldn't even move a muscle.
He then realized that Einar and Agravain must be working together to take revenge on Guinevere and him but it was too late.
"Sleep well for now brother," Einar said and kicked Lancelot's face.
Everything went dark for the knight of the lake.

Last night.
Agravain was called Agravain of the Iron Hand for a reason that his heart was like dark steel. He was a strong knight of the round table one of the few who was related to king him.
However, in reality, he was an assassin raised by Morgan Le Fay.
When he was a little criminal, he was picked by a noble lady.
The noble lady was actually Morgan Lefay who didn't undertake him with good intentions either. Raised like a dog to kill someone.
It was Arthur Pendragon.
Though it was a tough job to kill a king surrounded by persons with immeasurable strength and wisdom like Einar Sirius and Merlin it was by no means an impossible task.
When he saw how strong the will of the king was, he decided to retrieve all his plans and dedicated his life to serving the greatest king of the world.
Because of Morgan's dark nature and her ugliness, he developed certain disgust for women in general. However, he didn't cut ties with Morgan as she was a malicious mage and could easily kill him so he continued to suppress King Arthur by exchanging information with enemies and rebels.
He never liked Guinevere from the beginning and was looking to cut her from the throne somehow when he caught the gist of her committing a crime.
Then started to 'warn' Guinevere to sever her relations with King Arthur at all cost. He mocked her, cursed her, and even sometimes tried to harm her but she never left King Arthur's side.
He then learned the true gender of King Arthur. Now destroying both of them was easier.
Simply telling the public was impossible since it would be a matter of time before his throat was sliced and even if he could somehow reveal the big secret, Merlin and Einar were enough to manipulate anyone.
One night, he was listening to the conversation between Lancelot and Guinevere from a window when he heard Guinevere telling Lancelot about his threatening calls.
He knew that Lancelot will come after him no matter but if Lancelot tells King or Einar about this then he would surely be killed.
He decided to flee from this island but as if even God was helping him, he saw Einar confronting them.
He became happy that now he would soon be hearing the death of Guinevere and Lancelot the next day but it didn't go as he planned.
Einar just ignored them.
He had to act now.
"Seems like Sir Einar have to act now."
After Einar came out of the room, he decided to make a proposal.
"What's up dickhead? Are you done with peeping your usual?"
Einar crossed his arms and asked.
"As expected from Sir Einar, the wisest man on the planet-"
"Listen dickhead, I know you are assassin hired by Morgan all along so cut to the chase. I am in fu*king horrible mood."
Agravain felt a cold chill on his spine when he heard Einar. He bent on one knee and spoke, "Sir Einar, please help me here to confront these two scums."
"In short, you want me to protect your weak ass from Lancelot, is that the gist of it?"
"Yes and not only that but also to take down King Arthur. I know the king is a girl and also a filthy one who had destroyed your trust."
Agravain proposed looking at Einar's eyes without any fear or hesitation but in actuality, he was soaked with sweat from the fear of his death lingering around him.
"Sigh* continue, I am listening." Einar sighed and decided to listen.
Agravain smiled and then told Einar his plan.
"Ya know, the funny thing is, I know you are playin' with me… but you are right. It's time to kill these filthy bitches."
It was at that time that Agravain made further plans to kill Artoria and Guinevere to take the throne and give it to the rightful person, Einar Sirius.
