It was a long two days like I thought and now it's Monday night and we're all finishing with putting the essential stuff away. Tomorrow is Tuesday and I start school.

I take off my clothes and tiredly crawl into bed, face planting into the pillow, and going to sleep.

Beep beep beep

Gah!

I hate alarm clocks with a passion. Yawning tiredly I get out of bed and go to my bathroom where I piss and take a shower.

Coming out of the bathroom only in a towel I walk into my closet and find something to put on that won't take that much effort.

Pulling on some sweats and a muscle shirt I put on some deodorant and cologne before heading downstairs and meeting my mom in the kitchen.

"Morning mom."

I kiss her on the cheek as she turns to give me a plate of food and I sit down at the counter with my friends.

"Morning darling. Today you're going to a new school, are you excited."

"Mom it's going to be the same as all the other schools."

She pouts and gives me puppy eyes which only serves in making me feel bad.

"But darling what if you find your mate here?"

My mate. I hope she's here, if I have to deal with another day of getting hit on by Victoria then I'll resort to killing her.

"If she's here ma then I'll find her."

Getting up I rinse my plate in the sink and head outside to my car. Getting in my car I hear Victoria telling me to wait and quickly reverse out of the driveway and speed away while my friends laugh.

What good friends they are right?

Pulling into a spot away from everyone else I walk into the building ignoring my friends that pulled in behind me and the staring students and quickly find the main office.

Walking in I see a short woman probably on her thirties behind the desk doing something.

"Ahem. Uh ma'am?"

She looks up at me and gives me a genuine smile instead of those thirsty smiles I normally get.

"Oh I'm sorry, what can I do for you hun?"

"I'm new."

" Oh! Well then can I get a name?"

" Echo Masters."

" Hmm that's am awesome name. ..Are you in any chance related to a Winter Masters?"

" Thanks and not that I know of."

" Oh that's too bad. Whelp, here you go hun. Schedule, locker number, and map of the school. Have a nice day."

I walk out of the office as my friends walk into the building.

"Damn guys I must have been in there for ten minutes. What did you do get lost?"

" Oh har har har. No parking was a bitch then we got mauled."

I laugh and leave them there to go to my first period. I arrive to my class five minutes late but who cares since it's just math.

Walking in every one turns to me and I can practically see the girls in here pulling shirts down and skirts up.

Already writing off those sluts I ignore them all including the teacher and sit in a seat at the back near the window.

As I throw my bag down and go to sit I still see all eyes in me.

The teacher I can understand but really all of them? Do they have no life?

"What!"

They got scared and turned away from me except for the teacher who had a smirk on his face.

"What's your name kid?"

... Well he's different.

"Echo Masters."

Gasps are heard throughout the room again as the students turn back to me.

What now?

"Unique, you related to Winter?"

"Uh no... should I be?"

He shakes his head and laughs.

"Nah. I'm Mr. Guy, yes its weird but whatever. Since you're most likely new I'll excuse you this time. I'm not normally a hard ass on rules as long as you can keep your grades to at least a C but I do appreciate it if my students showed up on time."

"Alright sir."

" That makes me sound so old."

I laugh, I like this teacher.

Normally I hate teachers but he seems like a cool guy so I guess I could pay attention.

About 15 minutes into class the door slams open and a disheveled girl kinda walks in.

She stumbles over to Mr. G's desk and puts a note of some type on his desk then just leans there panting like she just ran a marathon.

My wolf, Rome, is screaming in my head and running around like he's outside instead of in my head, which is making a head ache form.

"What the hell Rome. Calm the Fuck down!"

"You're not listening to me."

"What the fuck. Now I am so stop and tell me."

"Mate!"

Ow ok he didn't have to scream- wait what? Mate?

My head turns to the girl that just walked in and I sniff the air.

Fucking oranges and cream. My new favorite smell.

I watch her as she straightens up from his desk and tucks stray hairs behind her ear.

"Winter. This is a first why are you late?"

"My uh jeep broke down on the way here and I didn't want to wake Roger."

"You ok?"

"Yeah... just tired I guess."

"Alright Winter go take a seat."

She gives him a small smile and I can't help to feel jealous for three reasons. She talked and smiled at Mr. G and for whoever this Roger dude is.

A low growl erupts from my chest as I think about him dating my mate.

I quickly stop as I see Winter walk towards me with her head down. She doesn't see me till she gets about a row down from where I am and she stops in her tracks and looks at me strangely. Why I don't know but do I care no, not really.

She shakes her head a little bit and keeps coming to me which has me purring in delight.

She's short and extremely adorable looking. She wears no make up on her face and has curves in all the right places.

She sits down in the seat next to me and I can do nothing but stare at her even though I know it makes her uncomfortable.

"So you're the famous Winter I've heard about."

She looks at me as I speak and a blush rises to her cheeks only making her look even more adorable.

"What have you heard exactly?"

She twists her hands in her lap as she tries to look undisturbed by the idea but I can tell that she's nervous.

"Actually nothing. Only that people think I'm related to you some how."

She tilts her head to the side like a dog does when they listen and I can't help but to think about kissing her lips, pulling her lip away from her bottom lip, and in between mine as she moans my name.

Shit! I better stop before I get a boner. If I knew this was gonna happen I would've worn something that could hide my impending boner.

Her sweet voice doesn't help much.

"Why would they think that?"

I shrug my shoulders.

"What's your name?"

"Winter Rose Masters. Yours?"

Ahh now I see.

At least when I marry her she won't have to change her name.

Wait marry!?

Yea she's mine. Marry.

I grin at my thought.

"Echo Masters."

A blush rises to her cheeks and I can't help but to want to know the reason for it.

"You're not related to me."

"Why would you say that? I might be a cousin you haven't met."

"No, impossible. You're not snobby and conceited."

Well damn, shots fired. She must really hate her family.

"Uh well that's good."

"Plus we don't have anyone this hot in my family."

She said it as a whisper, probably thinking that I wouldn't hear, but due to my advanced hearing I heard it all and grinned at her side due to her turning to the front.

My mate thinks I'm hot. 😁

The Bell rings shortly after and I'm saddened to say that I had no more classes with her. I did however have 3rd period with my friends.

As soon as I walked in the twins started shouting random nonsense at me.

"Dude! The chicks here are sexy as fuck."

"Dude! Dude! I don't care, I found my mate."

That seems to stop them and then I hear Victoria.

"I know you found me babe. It was just a matter of time before you realized it."

"Ew Victoria I'm not your mate. I think if I was I would kill myself, I don't know where you've been."

She stomps her foot like an impudent child then walks out of the class.

Good riddance.

"So dude, now that she's gone who's your mate?"

"Her name's Winter

"Wait Winter Masters? I heard she's a stuck up bitch."

I growl at that. No one calls my mate a stuck up bitch.

"Whoa wait I just heard it. Don't wolf out at me."

I hear my beta talking to Chase but I ignore that in my anger and storm out of the school and into the woods. Once there I shift and let my wolf run around.
