Chapter 4

Seeing everyone full of spirits, Cobra said again. "This trial will takes three months and at the end of everyone there is a test. Now I will explain the rules and information about the first test. This island is one of the best island of team rocket and all of the pokemon on this island is specially breed to train the likes of you. If you lucky you can even catch a pokemon with strong aptitude. This is the first test and it will last a week. The rule of this test is very simple we will give you 3 pokeballs and 100 integral points and a space bag. Integral points is the currency used in team rockets if you get enough you can exchange for any item or pokemon you want. This points can exchange even after you leave this island. Now the maximum number that can pass this test is 150 which means half of you will failed."

Everyone's face has become paled after they heard this worlds and one of the brave guy ask the question at this moment. "What happened to those who failed?" Because each guy has only 50 percent chance to pass this test, everyone becomes interested in hearing the answer.

Hearing this Cobra continued, "Wow, a brave guy. I like it. If you fail this test it is not the end and you will still be given a chance but that is not up to me. Those who fails will be taken out of this island to team rocket headquarters to take another test. It will decide whether you become suppliers or grunts. Those are both lowest positions and it will be very difficult for you to improve from then on."

A lot of guys relax after hearing this. Thank god they do not straight up kill the guy who fail the test is probably what everyone thinks right now. I understand this point as team rocket need a lot of man power right now so it is very reasonable to do this.

"Don't become happy too soon. Although we do not kill who fails the test itself and surviving in this island itself is very dangerous. In my opinion maybe one third of you will die during this test alone" Cobra laughed and said.

"The condition of the first test is catch a pokemon yourself in that forest" Cobra said while pointing the forest behind us. "In this forest although they are many pokemon with aptitude, they do not like humans very much. Unlike in normal wild, they will attack you when they see. So choosing what to catch is also important. I will give you a little reminder do not bite off more than you can chew."

"After you catch it you have to tame it within the week. The first 150 person to tame the pokemon will be pass. If you cannot tame it within a week you will be send out of this island. The ones who compete this trial will have 200 integral as a reward. The first person will have additional 1000 points plus an ultra ball. The 2nd will be 800, the third 500 and top 10 will have 200 additional. So be quick to tame and do not let us wait for long. If you have integral points you can go to the building to exchange for it. This is also our headquarter in this island." Said Cobra and he pointed to building opposite side of the forest. The building is very eye catching to see and it has a big red R symbol on the top of it.

"That is for the information you can go directly from now on to catch. Come here at noon next week. You can try and disobey order if you want. It is more easy to control a lesser crowd. Keep in mind that if you survive these three months even becoming executive in the future is not too difficult. After you done with the mission come to our building and report it back to me." Cobra leave with all of his men after saying this.

For a while all of us do not know what to do from then on. After pondering for about 10 minutes I heard a voice, "I won't waste anymore time come lets go." After saying that one of the kid leave with his team. There are around five people in his team.

I signed and shook my head after seeing this. "None of the kids has information about the habitat of pokemon in this island and also they do not have any tools to catch a pokemon. And they are hoping to catch a pokemon with just pokeball? Do they think they are in a movie or something? Only those who are smart or have strong survival instinct will pass this test" while thinking this Jack go straight to the team rocket headquarter.

After seeing my action the girl beside me look at my back strangely as seem to realize something and start to follow me. "As I thought this girl has strong survival instinct and it will be not hard for her to survive but why can't I remember her in my previous life. Although i do not remember many people last time I still remember those who are at top but she wasn't there. Maybe she follows the wrong guy and meets her end? I don't know."

Seeing our action some of the kids look at Jack and the girl walking away with puzzle expression and some even thought that those team rocket headquarter to hide but none of then care about it too much and everyone separated and each go on their way to catch their selves a pokemon.

After walking for about 10 minutes, the girl started to break the silence atmosphere by introducing herself "Hi, I am Mary, have we met in the orphanage?" Jack turn around and replied "I am Jack, and I do not think we have met, I usually alone in the forest wandering so I do not know anyone at the orphanage." It is strange for a kid to train in the forest for 5 years so Jack make an excuse.
