After beating Alex, zubat increase 1 level and learn ability Swift. Jack is happy that zubat learns another long range move and swift is the ability that can chase the target. The longer it chases the faster its become and the damage becomes greater too.

"Good job zubat, you did great." Jack praised zubat. The performance of zubat is very good in and he does not even take any damage and still in top condition.

"The last move is very risky but it paid off well. Haha from now on, he will think twice before using electric moves against me." Jack thought about it and smiled. But he cannot use this move too many times because it is not that difficult to find out if you are focusing. If someone found about this trick it is very easy to counter. The flying pokemon that cannot fly or move? What use is that, you don't even need electric move to beat it. But it is a nice way to use as psychological blows against some people.

She hasn't learn and TMs yet which is very normal for ordinary people. TMs are so expensive so it is very shocking that Alex learn protect this early. Not everyone can see pokemon aptitude and kidnap some offsprings right under their nose.

When Cobra arrived at the square he annouce the top 10. Jack already know top 5, except for rank 6 and 7, who has green aptitude koffing and weedle, the other are of yellow so he does not care much. The only problem is light blue ekan guy. He does not take out his pokemon so Jack doesn't know the information yet. With his connection it is not difficult for him to learn a few TMs.

"I don't know how Alex beat him in previous life, maybe Alex's second and third are relatively strong? That is a very good possibility." Jack thought about it.

After the announcement is over, Cobra explain the rule of second trial. There are 150 participants left and during 1 month. They have to train their pokemons in the wild. Attacking each other or ganging up other are allowed. This will test the survival skills, cunning skills and charisma. Strength alone is not enough to be at the top. Cobra purposely announced top 10 first and make them the targets. If they can maintain their status after this, they will become very powerful in the future. After the 1 month the survivors will fight each others. The winner will get price. Very simple.

The price and the specific rules about the fight are not yet announced.

But whether they pass or fail, these 150 will become agents of team rocket in the future. Of course in case they survive. If they can pass the second trial, they will become small captains.

Mary face twitch after hearing this. As a girl she most likely become targeted unless she find a group. As for Jack, he does not feel any pressure, if other wants to attack he will happily welcome them. But first they need to follow him deep into the forest first.

Jack needs to do two things, during this month. First is he needs to gather many poison sags as possible but that is not a problem, most poison types can be founded in trash and waste areas. They is indeed one such place in this island. The other thing is to find light blue pokemon egg. This area is currently dangerous for him as there are many level 30-40 pokemons living in those areas. Highest is level 50. Even team rocket does not dare to provoke this kind of pokemons. But if someone can return alive from those area, whether by luck or by skill, their lives will skyrocketed just like that lucky guy who got the egg in his first life. Jack still does not want to gamble his life so he wants to wait a little more and train zubat so his can atleast escape when he is faced with danger.

First he needs to go to the places where nidoran lives. The quickest way is to of course by passing through beedrill territory but that is out of option. After beating the crap out of ever beedrill he comes across during these days, they hate him to the bones. If they know that he is the guy who kidnap their offspring all beedrill in this island will come rush to kills him. Jack got chilled thinking about it. Another way is to pass through spearow and fearow territory. They likes to bully others with group and are more difficult to deal with because with keen eye their eyesight is no less than Jack maybe even better.

Just then, Jack got an idea. Although it is risky but if he is lucky he can get benefits from both parties. That is to travel in the border between those two territories. Those pokemons are very territorial and will fight to death if pokemon of other species invade them and will not cooperate with each other. So traveling on the border is best choice for now. Deciding this Jack no longer hesitate anymore and prepare to travel.

Just before he was about to travel, he notice some glare directed at him. He thought at first that they are from Luke, the guy with ekans, but to his surprise they are from the rank 5,6 and 7.

Jack assume they are not from orphanage but are relatives of team rocket and their aim is probably to drag me down from first position and kiss Luke ass.
