PETER
I didn't expect that the girl wanted to join us. She was way out of our league at sobrang ganda niya. Like every guy would love to date her and be her boyfriend.
When Kelsie and Juan would talk, I noticed that she was silent and always listening. Whenever Kelsie would encourage her to talk, somehow she would just go with it. She seemed pretty calm and quiet all the time.
Napakaganda niya, I felt really nervous sitting near her.
"Juan please, gusto kong makita yung whole school eh.
It had it's auditorium and four gyms, a wide soccer field at may dalawang tennis courts. The school has three buildings, the main, south and north. The main mostly consists of the homerooms, faculty rooms at library. The south has all the laboratories and two theatres. Nandoon sa north building yung ballroom, three dancing studios, school newscasting room and the AV room. Probably the things you see in an international school ay nandito.
She looks confused and lost.
Looked like a cafeteria to me than a homeroom. All of the chairs were disarranged and some students were sitting on the arms of their chairs.
"Kuya, are you sure this is our homeroom?" Kelsie asked. I slightly nodded and looked at the dishelved room.
Nagpatuloy kami sa pagpasok, natahimik yung buong classroom. I just want to enter the homeroom, is that a crime?
I had doubts that this class is one messy mix up.
Juan asked. I just looked at himand shrugged.
I looked at the pretty girl, her name was Maria. Simpleng pangalan but it suited her well. She was calm and beautiful. She was more on Asian than being foreign because of her tan skin and her hair. Maybe Kelsie would take lessons on how to become graceful from her.
Gusto ko sanang makihalubilo man lang sa kanya since she's new dito sa Cebu at sa school na ito. But seeing her silent and looking at her phone most of the time was very intimidating to converse.
Just when I was about to ask her something, a school teacher suddenly came inside our homeroom.
"Hello and good morning everyone. My name is Mr. Zamora and I will be your adviser and as well your mathematics teacher for this school year." The man said.
I saw on the corner of my eye that Maria smiled and waved at Mr. Zamora, he then replied with a smile.
I couldn't help but notice how silent and concentrated the students are when our homeroom teacher entered. Does this mean they know how to be silent just once?
I leaned at Juan and asked, "Bro, ba't biglang naging ghost town ang classroom?"
Her head was sitting on her palms while her elbows were resting on the chair's arm.
She was concentrating on what the teacher says. She just looked normal compared to my little twin sister na parang tutulo na ang laway sa kakatitig kay Sir Zamora.
"Any more questions?" Tanong ni Sir. Someone from the front raised their hand.
"Sir, do you have a wife?"
All of the class sighed and I saw Kelsie pouted like a little spoiled brat.
I then looked at Maria and saw her raise her hand, "Sir, I want to know why you are not allowed to take students special classes. For example, that student has a competition for the math whizz and yet they are absent for literally a week in preparation to compete."
I was in awe, she was amazing. It's like Velma mixed with Daphne from Scooby Doo. She talked maturely in front of the whole class. I saw some girls scoffed at her and chuckled.
"Stop it class, yes Miss Johnson students will compete but they shall too be given notes from the topics discussed by the professor." Sir Zamora explained. He then smiled at Maria and then looked at his papers.
Maria nodded and just read the whole paper guidelines.
"So now, I want you all to be seated on where you wish to seat. Of course the seating arrangement is alternate by gender."
Me and Juan then had an idea. I could sit next to Maria and Kelsie then him.
I tapped on Maria's shoulder and told her, "Hey Maria, you can sit here next to me and Kelsie would sit between me and Juan."
She looked a little shy towards me but then she nodded and placed her bag on her seat. Me and Juan exchanged looks and then nodded at each other like some plan of ours worked.
