SCENE: 14

"You've been too close to Andrea, it's new to me." The executive assistant of my mother whom my uncle uttered.

"Liar, it's not new to you uncle. Those were normal to you because these are my mom's doing" Correcting his choice of words.

He smiled and fluttered when I muttered those words to him. Indeed, this isn't new to him because it's my mom's attitude too.

Like a mother, like a daughter, that's what they say or call us. That's pretty cute to hear too and I must admit I love that compliment.

"Ohh I forgot you're your mom's daughter." He chuckled and went his gaze to the next model for the runway of outfits.

I look too serious watching the girl walk in front with her outfits, and unique walk signature.

She's good at walking without shaking her shoulders. Never seen a model like that, so I was impressed by what she showed us.

"Such a good turn and walk," I compliment.

Uncle heard it and that made him smile while still looking at the girl in front. Showing and flexing our new outfits.

"You look so proud uncle, do you know that little girl?" I suddenly asked him a curious question.

He remained quiet for a while before facing me with his happy eyes. The excitement is all on his face, so as the smile plastered on it.

"She's my daughter..." He muttered and faced him confusedly.

"Pardon?"

"My daughter, she's my second girl but she didn't know I was her father." Uncle explained as he repeated the "daughter".

"Oh my god... Why didn't you tell me that she's my cousin, I should have got a bond with her." I complain.

He laughed a bit and pointed out my reaction before speaking. The manly old face of my uncle didn't change a bit of how handsome he was when he was in his teenage days.

"I know you'll react like this, but I just want to remind you that don't ever give hints or clues to her. She might realize we were her relatives."

"Ahh. Ahhh....hh.. correction uncle, you're her father, not just a simple relative. Besides, if she'll know about this, then that's good, she won--" He cut me off.

"Your auntie didn't know about this nor had a clue of all these idiot things I've done. Well, it's not like a super idiot. It was my choice to have a daughter in a different family." He muttered.

"In a different girl, tito. That's the perfect word to use," Rolled my eyes as I correct his choice of words.

"You always catch my wrong use of words. I'm wondering why you become a model instead of being a tutor!" Tito exclaimed and laughed a bit.

I also laughed, this is how we bond together. Tita isn't that close to me because she's a bit strict.

She wanted everything to be perfect, I'm also thinking of that part as his reason too.

Reasons why he chose to get pregnant by another girl instead of getting another child with the same girl he married.

Tito made me realize that love should be balanced. You should not always nag at your partner to lessen those fights.

Be more hopeful on becoming the same as the year passed by as a clock runs on tik task.

"Okay! Next model. I need the hottest model in this room!" Ramon in his high blood vision screamed out.

"Sis! Water!" I called him and threw a bottle of water at him.

Thought of that he wouldn't catch it but he did. Of course, Tito is here. He can't show him a gay, though tito already knew about it.

It was just me who didn't have plans on telling him. Nothing, I just like teasing him like this.

"By the wag tito, why did the two of you separate? You said you had a forever life on that girl. Why don't you just divorce tita and marry that girl instead." I suggested seriously but uncle just give me a laugh.

"What? Why are you laughing tito?" Asked in confusion.

"You hear your words don't you?" He throws back the question.

"Yes, why?"

"I can't divorce your auntie, Marico. It's not that fast to do even though I truly wanted it to." He pauses for a while.

I could feel the sadness in his voice as he uttered those words.

Knowing that it hurts him a lot because he couldn't be with the girl she loves the most.

"Though I love her mother, there's always a piece of me telling me that I should think about it carefully. Making this decision isn't easy to do, deciding about divorce." He continues.

"Uncle, you marry her in the US. It's easy to divorce her. Besides, you couldn't feel any love for her anymore. That would hurt her if you keep in touch with that girl's mother." I pursued.

"If that's what your auntie wants to do too but she doesn't want it. So I can't give it nor do it, filing a divorce won't be that fast and easy. We still need to get our lawyers before we can proceed." He explained but I was just still unconvinced of everything.

If he wanted to be that girl then why waste time leaving like this. He could have just done this early, maybe now they were already together.

Might be now they were a complete and a happy family. Laughing at each other with wide smiles plastered on their faces.

"Even so tito, you could still file. You're the complainant and that's all that matters, I'm here though. I'm your one and only supportive, beautiful niece." Muttered in confidence.

I heard him laugh for a while before fixing his face into a serious one.

"Marico, you should always remember that even if you both love each other and found out about it at the wrong time. Always be mindful that you should be leaving that place to move on; however, don't forget that person who once became your life partnered with your wife couldn't give to you and r children." He quoted and that made me realize everything.

Why can't she divorce his wife and choose to leave the girl she loves.

Refrain the feelings they both have for each other and make the biggest and hardest decisions in their lives.

Love...
