One day, Anne's parents decided to buy Anne a little dog like Spike again.
"What do you think hon? Will Anne like him?" John asked his wife Wendy.
"I am sure, she will be going to like her," Wendy said to her husband.
"I do hope so," he said to his wife.
The couple went home and immediately looked for the youngest child.
But when they saw their child, they were surprised that Spike was with Anne's hand again. She combes its hair gently.
"Where did you get that dog?" her mother asked.
"I just saw it outside of our house mom. She looked like Spike so I give it to Anne." Alan said while he's walking nearer to Anne's place.
"Mom, look. Spike has its life again." Anne happily said it as if she were never cried over its pet.
"We also have a new gift for your honey. I hope you will like it." Wendy said to her.
"What is it mom?" she asked.
Wendy released the new dog from its cage and ran closer to Anne.
She could see the child's smile on its face. She no longer seems sad at all after she loses her beloved dog, Spike.
The couple approached their daughter and then asked the name of her new dog.
"What will be its name, child?" John asked.
"Nothing dad. I'll just think about it dad," she answers.
The couple saw a black and red ant on the floor and immediately stepped on it and killed it to prevent them from re-biting their children especially Anne.
The couple is so happy to see the smiles on their children's lips. They hugged their children well at the same time the couple was thankful for the good life they enjoy as a family even though there are misunderstandings sometimes.
