The school of Zylis

The bracelet was sitting on the floor wiggling back and forth. My mom just simply picked me up and put it back on. She looked scared in a sense in that moment of time. Everyone looked like they were struggling to breath and was struggling to keep standing. Then the air felt heavy, but it went back to normal right away once she realized what she was doing. She told everyone she did not mean to release the amount of mana she released and we then left the building. It turns out the one of the drunk men that was partying to hard hit me in the head and made me fall over. My mom then released a huge amount of mana in anger and was worried.

"you need to control yourself Rose, you cant let that amount of mana get out." If word got out on who we are...I don't know what would happen to us. Dad thought in his head multiple thing's that would happen if word got out who they are. Well he thought again with a grin thinking more about the reaction of them figuring out who they are.

"I will work on it honey" She was still worried about me from falling. She looked surprised and worried and hold my hand as we walked down the stone roads.

We were walking around the royal part of the city. There were brick 2-story buildings everywhere. It seemed pretty nice to live in one of these. I thought about the glaring light that reflected off the marble fountain. The stone road added even more with people in wagons or walking to get where they want.

Mom and dad wanted to visit one more place before we left. It was the school where most older kids went. There was a ranking system in place and if you were top 500 you were treated like god (I was just listening to my mom and dad talking about it.) You could just tell from the big, beefy guy that passed by with "#50" on his chest. He carried a big sword and wore no shirt practically. He had followers behind him obeying his commands. They were low ranked student's who was following in his path is what my mom and dad guessed.

"Momma, Is this where I can go when I'm older?" I said without hesitating. All I was thinking about was playing catch with other kids with a playful grin in my beautiful face.

"We are going to meet the master right now honey to talk about that. So act respectful, he is a very powerful man in this world." All I could think about was my small Zekeil going to school here. I was worried. Would he be ok when he grows up? He should be matured by 15 right?

We walked inside the academy to see grand halls and classrooms with students inside. There was a outside in the middle of the hallway full of students. It had the same grand fountain that was in the royal part of the city. The marble colored floor was beautiful as it matched perfectly with the brick walls and went perfectly into the classroom's of the school.

We admired the building until my mom and dad heard someone scream stop very loudly. There was a higher ranked student fighting a lower ranked student who was first year. It was plain and simple from the start that this was really no fight. The higher ranked guy had him pushed back against the wall and was beating him. My mom came up to him and asked him to stop but that didn't work so well because he started to make fun of my mom and slapped her away. My mom then felt tense as the air suddenly felt heavier and felt as if it was going in my mom. She looked at him again and he had a look of terror on his face and ran away with piss in his pants. Quite literally. Apparently these higher ranked students also think there gods. Then the bullied first year then thanked us with tear sin his eye and walked away to the bathroom. He looked very happy that we stepped in to save him. We then figured out through the long hallways where the school master's office was.

Authors note's - I'm trying to write this from Zeikels point but remember he is a 5 year old right now. Short chapter but the next one will be releasing in the next 2-3 days sometime <3 I'm also going to start to slow down the story a little bit and start writing more about his life. I realized I'm going WAY to fast on pacing and this story will mean very much to me and so will the character's in it. So I'm going to slow it WAY down then its going right now, if you have any questions on what I have in mind, please let me know. We should also have our own art soon for the thumbnail of the story. Oh I always go through the story's a second time to find any mistakes and please let me know if you see any in the comments.
